There is almost no ink in the cartridges.

There is very little ink in the Canon Pixma TR 4720 black and color cartridges. Even minimal printing empties out the cartridges after a just couple of days. You think you're getting a bargain with a low cost printer. Nothing could be further from the truth. Cheap printers are ink hogging nightmares.

Stay away from Canon…

I bought a canon PIXMA printer to print my college homework for study notes for my certification exam. Canon has sent me Ink and I have three extra and cannot use them if I’m passed that billing period or after that billing period. I called canon to see if they offer student discounts but was told no if I can’t pay every month you can’t use your printer, canon turns your ink off which is the craziest shit I have ever heard. I will be looking for a printer that I don’t need a print plan with because this Canon is going straight to the dumpster shortly. These companies will do anything to make another dollar and us consumers are the ones getting it put to us.

Canon G7020 printer…the worst

Canon G7020 printer…
Worst printer I have ever purchased.
Every single time I use it, it’s either offline or no paper in 1 of the trays or you need to restart it, login and you already know. I printed at 1pm after going through everything, I came back to print at 2:30 and 10 mins to print 1 sheet! Same thing happens every single day.
Do not buy this printer

*** UPDATE on my HP Review

*** UPDATE: 3/18/2026 I am with a new company for my printer Canon, and they do not use the spyware that HP does. This is a problem, apparently a lot of customers are not happy with that. This company allows you to do what everyone used to do years ago. No subscription (only if you want one) , I do not. I buy my own ink, and my own paper, and I am so happy! Support whenever I need it, NEVER HP again!***

Canon Order #4004805146

Canon Order #4004805146 – Cancelled Without Warning ⚠️

I placed an order with Canon that was critical for a professional gig. At the last minute, Canon cancelled my order without any prior notice or explanation, which caused me to miss out on paid work and lose income.

This is unacceptable business practice. Customers deserve transparency and communication, not surprise cancellations that disrupt livelihoods.

I have already escalated this matter to Canon’s executive team and filed a BBB complaint. Until Canon provides accountability and resolution, I cannot recommend them to other professionals who depend on reliable service.

Buying my new camera through Canon…

Buying my new camera through Canon directly was the worst buying experience that I ever had. The products are great quality of course but the system, website or whatever it is so stupid and doesn’t work properly. I tried buying my new camera through the website on a wednesday, thursday morning received an email saying that was cancelled, no reason. called them and they said that sometimes it’s cancelled like that so I tried again through the website after changing some info and it got cancelled again. The only way that I found was buying through a sales person on the phone. order got processed and shipped but then it was obligatory to get a signature on delivery, what didn’t happened because I work, can’t be home whenever they want me too. Then they wouldn’t let me change the delivery adress, ask to pickup at a fedex location or schedule the delivery, the last try was calling canon customer service again (for the 5th time on that same week) and they said that they requested the pickup option and I should receive an email soon. Really frustrated and disappointed with all this hassle and trouble, and haven’t read anything better about their system/website.

Amazon Canon shop inconsistent

I ordered from the Amazon canon shop they were able to deliver my printer. Although my photo paper sent to the same location, was sent back to the seller. Very annoying considering the printer did not come with paper 🙄.

IF YOU HAVE A PIXMA 922 PRINTER THERE…

IF YOU HAVE A PIXMA 922 PRINTER THERE IS NO MEANS TO MAKE IT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 11. THEN YOUR PRINTER WILL NOT PRINT INK ON THE PAPER IT DOES ALL THE MOTIONS BUT DOESN'T PRINT. YOU CAN DO ALL THE STEPS RECOMMEND, BUT STILL NOTHING. THEY GIVE A 10% DISCOUNT FOR AN UPGRADE BUT I HAVE MORE INVESTED IN THE INK FOR MY PIXMA 922. I BELIEVE THE DISCOUNT SHOULD BE MUCH GREATER I FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!

I have owned TWO Canon Pro-1000…

I have owned TWO Canon Pro-1000 printers and the first one's print head decided to stop working - although it's replaceable at a mere $600! But if that wasn't the problem you couldn't return it. I was given a second printer by a friend (amazing since they cost $1200!!) and now the maintenance cartridge door lock lever is missing so now this printer won't work at all! Canon has part named online but unable to purchase it! There are NO service companies to service this very expensive printer...won't ever use Canon again...

Re Canon camera batteries LP-E6

Re Canon camera batteries LP-E6, I recently did a photo assignment in Ukraine. War footage. I took ten of these batteries of various brands. Five failed. Which ones failed? ONLY the Canons and ALL of the Canons. Never again for Canon batteries. Never. Wish I could upload a pic.

I own a ImageClass MF743CDW laser…

I own a ImageClass MF743CDW laser printer. Canon has configured the firmware so that when it requires a reduce back side stain cleaning it will only do it with OEM toner cartridges (which cost 4x the price of aftermarket) otherwise the printer will not print and they will not support the warranty. Non OEM cartridges do not have chips that can detect the amount of ink. Canon should not require owners to use Canon cartridges just for cleaning functions. They should update the firmware to remove this limitation.
