I do not recommend anyone purchases…

I do not recommend anyone purchases directly through this company, the customer service is poor and they are RUDE. The company takes no accountability and happily advertises items falsely on their website. Honestly I will never use them again after the shocking service I have received, they should be ashamed as a company.

I have a 43cm doll which they have said is no longer compatible with their baby Annabell footwear as it was purchased over 3 years ago. However there is no notice of this foot change online, so how are we to know as customers? All adverts state they fit 43cm dolls and in exact words 'all 43cm dolls' so this is misleading. I asked for information which they are unwilling to give, as they cannot answer my questions. For example, where this information is made known and how they expect us as customers to be aware of it before making a purchase? Why can they not answer I wonder ... because they know they are in the wrong. Disgusting behaviour when their products are targeted to children.

Absolutely rubbish website and customer…

Absolutely rubbish website and customer service. Ordered an item 23rd December recieved an empty box, raised issue with customer service! Women at end of phone speaks bad English, doesn’t understand what your saying! Having to repeat myself 50 times! Still no closer to getting a replacement sent out or a refund! Don’t bother!

Terrible service

Terrible service, website was awful.
Took ages to actually place the order
Finally got order through and paid.
After all that….. 2 days later get an email saying most things are out of stock and now I have to wait for my refund
Won’t ever use again

DO NOT BUY their products if you expect…

DO NOT BUY their products if you expect any customer service or a quality product. Faulty product, Anabel doll, that was exchanged but the new Anabel doll developed a fault.
Zapf will not resolve the issue by exchanging the product which cost me £60 to buy.
I will not be buying any further Zapf products as quality issues with them

Poor customer service and difficult returns from Zapf Creations

I recently bought a Baby Born My Cute Pony as a birthday gift for my daughter and a family member also got her one. I tried to return mine in a timely manor and was told they “consider return on a case by case basis” and told me I had to email pictures of the product and receipts and delivery notes. Once I had gathered all the ‘evidence’ I tried to email them but the emails kept bouncing back no matter how small I made the photos. I later called them to explain the issues I was having and they just said there was no reason it shouldn’t work and they couldn’t do anything without the pictures. The customer service was terrible and it was clear that it was a system designed to make it difficult to return products which is a consumer right.

Poor Quality, Warranty Issues and NO customer service

My daughter was gifted a Baby Annabell sweet dreams bed for Christmas. Unfortunately the curtain doesn't clip onto the cot so I contacted Zapf. They stated I needed to provide a receipt for them to validate the 12 months warranty. I had to go to the person who bought her the present for Christmas and not only tell them it doesn't work but also have to ask them for their receipt...(awkward!) Considering the item hasn't even been around for 12 months but hey I did it.
Emailed the proof to Zapf and now they want nothing to do with it...
Why ask for proof of purchase? It makes no sense. Their customer service is non-existant and they products are manufactured so poorly.
I won't be buying a Zapf product anymore.

Awful awful awful

Awful awful awful. Do not buy from here! I have returned items over a month ago which Evri have confirmed were returned. They are denying receiving these and no longer replying to me regarding a £160 refund. I have spent over £1000 with Zapf Creation in the past and I will never shop here again. Neither with any of my family and friends.

Wrong item inside the box , item worth £7.99 inside not the £42.99 e purchased, no response to emails, spoke to someone on the phone there time, never returned my calls , awful service and still without the item , shocking service

Terrible customer service, selling incorrectly sized items and won’t even give a simply apology!

I purchased a set from Smyths toys, contacted Zapf creations and they have advised me I need to go to the retailer (I have and am now awaiting a response!).

What I am more disappointed in is the lack of care and attention from the supplier, they simply thanked me for my ‘feedback’ there was no apology for the error (the have supplied the wrong size shoes for Annabell). It is not feedback, I am informing them of a potentially huge error on their part and they honestly could not care less. I highly doubt they are even going to look into the issue, they are simply referring people to the retailer and they see this as not being their issue at all.

You are supplying shoes within an outfit set that do not fit, sized up against another pair that do fit they are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller. This is a huge error on their part but they dont seem bothered at all, as long as they are selling who cares ay?!

Luckily my daughter doesn’t use her doll as much anymore and it seems the shops selection of Baby Annabell is getting smaller and smaller each time we visit. I won’t be purchasing anymore items from them, they dont deserve the money of loyal customers if they cannot provide basic customer service and apologise when they are in the wrong even if the retailer is responsible for correcting the mistake they are still the ones that have made and supplied them.

A simple apology, advising they are going to look into the sizing error and ensure products are being correctly produced and refer you to the retailer would be sufficient but they are vague, do not apologise and simply do not care that they are misleading customers.

Zapf Baby Born dolls

I bought 2 Baby Born dolls in November 2022 from The Entertainer toy company. These were Christmas presents for 2 of my granddaughters.
In July 2023 my son was showing his 2 year old how to change a nappy when the leg broke off, along with a piece of plastic which could have been very dangerous. I contacted The Entertainer with photos but they told me their warranty is 6 months and so could not help. I contacted Zapf who told me their warranty contract with the retailer is 12 months and to quote this to The Entertainer. Several phone calls & emails later both Zapf & The Entertainer each maintain their story.
I have since discovered that the head of the other Baby Born has come off a few times. Despite the consumer rights act stating a product must last a reasonable length of time, neither company want to help me. I’ve never actually had such a poor customer service before and as a result I shall not buy from either again and advise others not to either.
