Scam from Shopcare24

Got scammed for £40.56 from this company. Haven't a clue how. Just noticed pending payment of £40.56 on my bank account. Phoned bank- no help. They said couldn't call it fraud as I must have signed up for subscription! However I found their email address and asked for refund, and had no knowledge of their company etc. They voided the payment and apologised!

This is a scam from a shell company

This is a scam,
I was contacted by my credit card company (Tesco) as they had blocked a transaction from a company called Shop 24 care. This company's website looks like a shell, ie not actually providing any services. The company had also added my card to an i phone electronic wallet.
Fortunately for me Tesco had spotted this as fraud and I've just had the inconvenience of having to cancel my credit card.
I've emailed BBC's money box to tell them about this company

Fraud

Fraud, this us a scam. I do not know how this company acquired my card details, I did not knowingly give it to them. When I contacted the TSB their stance was that I must have given then my details somehow and that as far as they were concerned this was not fraud and I should apply to the scammers for a refund. I have canceled my card and am disappointed with my banks attitude having banked with them for over sixty years.

I got unknowingly scammed for £40.56…

I got unknowingly scammed for £40.56 too only finding out about it after receiving an email saying my free trial period was over. I was at a motorway service area at the time it happened but imagine it was at the hotel i was at as it was around that time. 'Unsubscribed' immediately but still took the money from my account. Scary how someone can take money from your account without giving bank details. Reported fraud to Nationwide so still waiting for action.

Total fraud

Total fraud
Just found a pending transaction on my Bank account for £40.56.
This is a complete scam, i have spent an hour on the phone to lloyds bank and finally got through to the fraud department and they have blocked the pending payment. That said, they still have to give this company 30 days to prove a reason for taking this money from my account. Cant understand why a company like this cannot be completely blocked by all banks.
When lloyds said that they would look to see what the company was about i told them to go and look on trust pilot and they will see its a scam, they said they dont have access to trust pilot ?
Thats ridiculous.
y advice would be, if your being scammed by this company and it is in pending to leave your account, do not accept the basic line from your bank that they cannot stop a pending payment. ask to speak to their fraud department, they are the ones with the power to block the payment even when it is in pending.
hope this helps

Scam subscription

They seem to have got to me through a QR code on an information screen inside a well known store. Flagged up to me by Tesco Bank who could not have been more helpful. £40.56. No email even though junk checked. Had it refunded and a new credit card issued. Seems they could ‘pop up’ under a different name if you don’t cancel your card and get a new number. Be careful as it can be seen as a voluntary action as it’s something you’re doing yourself unwittingly with your phone/card. I’ve read not all banks etc. refund.

Scam! Everyone has the same experience

How can this company be allowed to prowl the Internet. Multiple consistent reports of being a scam on trustpilot. My wife inadvertently clicked on the site thinking it was something else. Received an email advising her she would be charged for some subscription service she never asked for. Received a cancellation email and then the next day the scam merchants removed money from her account!!

Steer well away from this load of crooks!!!

I was in the middle of setting up a Revolut account on my phone, when a pop-up asked me to pay £00.00 - an amount I was assured would not be charged from my account. On checking my bank statement today, I notice that they have taken £39.99 from my account! The name on my statement was called EURvyntral.com, but I managed to track it down to shop24care.com. I went onto their website and started a chat to complain about this deduction. The stupid bot said it would unsubscribe me, but could not refund me because there had been 'no charges' on my account! I was so angry at this unexpected charge, which sent my account into overdraft, so I have now emailed their support address to demand an immediate refund. They are a load of crooks!!! I have emailed them THREE TIMES now to request a refund, but still no response!!

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They get you through faulty car parking machines. You aren't able to cancel via their website which forces you to call a 0800 phone number. Fortunately the call only took a few minutes. Also fortunately we noticed their email before they took any money. CHECK YOUR EMAILS.

Shop24care.com is a scam company BUT PLEASE READ MY POST IT MAY HELP YOU.

Shop24care.com is a scam company and they tried to take £29.99 from my credit card, which my card company stopped and blocked my card.
I have spoken to them this morning and they have said it is a scam and they are getting lots of complaints regarding this so called company- The member of staff at my card company was very helpful. She told me to log on to the above website and either call them on the 0800 number or email them ( go to the bottom of the website for numbers - I called them and got through to a South African she asked for my email and said an amount of £29.99 was tried for on my card but the transaction was blocked. I asked her to cancel any subsriptions and confirmed that the subsription was cancelled as the transaction was blocked.

I was sceptical about calling but it has worked and she has confirmed no more transactions will be tried or subscriptions set up.

I hope that this is of help to others. Good luck!
