Ordered and received a Fantastic bike from Biciclette Canellini "Via Veneto" aluminium version for my wifes 50th birthday present.

The quality is absolutely superb, along with the international delivery, no damage and well within the time scales advised.

Customer Service was excellent and very informative and canot recommend this company enough and wish all businesses adopted the same principles.

Great service, easy online booking process, prompt delivery, sensational product. Shame they do not accept credit cards. However, they do accept Paypal!

What a lovely bike this is. It came quickly, was easy to set up and is very easy to ride. Two people have actually stopped me and asked where I purchased the bike. The frame is lightweight enough to manage but feels sturdy. The basket and panniers are lovely too.

What a fantastic bicycle. It is very well made, and so stylish too. The service was also very quick, so I am a very satisfied customer. Two friends are also ordering the same bike. Thank you very much

Beautiful bike. Arrived very quickly and delivered to the house.
It looks good and came 85% mounted and not so difficult to mount the rest.
It is fast and 6 gears actually quite enough.
Would love if it has shock absorption on the front wheels but I already knew this when i bought it so it won't affect the fact that the bike is as described.
My friends told me it is eye catching this is why i had to buy two powerful locks hoping to secure it from thieves.
The basket is big enough and really beautiful and natural.
The bag is also handy and fits well with the color. I love the brown saddle and the brown touches in the handles with the brown basket.
The ring though should have been included not sold separately.
All in all i am happy I bought it and would recommend it.

I have had the worst experience dealing with this company - their customer service was so rude and offensive that I would warn anyone even considering ordering from them in case you have to contact them to sort out a fault. Firstly, when I ordered my bike the website was full of errors and there was no ability to make the selections I wanted. The form messed up my email address and password, so I managed to order but without any email confirmation. I then attempted to pay, but I needed to send a bank transfer. It's 2020 - bank transfers are not how e-commerce retailers work! I asked for help several times to no avail, before finally hearing back from someone on whatsapp. I paid via Paypal. What I didn't realise, was that there was an issue with my order and it arrived with a crate instead of the basket as per the description information. When I messaged them on Whatsapp to resolve this and ask that a £20 basket be sent to me, I was told that I had asked for a crate and it was my fault. I had not, there had been no option to select anything else, with the accessories box not showing any other options for me to select. I told them that if the accessories box had been there, I would have selected a basket AND a bell! I assumed as per the description, that the bike would arrive with a basket as standard, because there was nothing else for me to go on other than the pictures and description.

When I asked what had gone wrong, this is what they told me. "have a look tonight on our website please and you'll see that I'm saying the truth." "It seems impossible because we sell a lot of bikes with the combination basket + bags + bell. You probably didn't pay enough attention. I don't know."

What had happened, which I then showed them PROOF of on their mobile site, was that the accessories box had not appeared when I made my order, so it defaulted to a crate. I tried to tell them this and was met with abuse! When I said I would be leaving them a bad review, they said this... "It doesn't seem right for you to blackmail us and I can't understand what your problem is. You bought the bike with box and bags (299 € + shipping) and so we sent you the box and bags. If you had bought the basket and bags, we would have sent you the basket and bags. We didn't do anything wrong; the mistake was made by you. I'm sorry. If you want, you can send the cassette back to us and we will send the basket to you." (at my own cost, of course!)

How on earth can a company think that it is ok for them to accuse their customer of blackmail and LAUGH at them when they're trying to sort out a simple issue? I just wanted a basket with my bike and apart from the rudeness, it also took them DAYS to reply to messages.

As well as this, they don't provide the tools to finish putting your bike together (not even the allen keys!) and the handlebars were twisted incorrectly. I haven't had a chance to ride the bike yet but I'm hoping against hope that it is ok because there's no way I can afford to ship it back - they expect you to pay for that too.

Please, if you value your sanity, don't order from these defensive, nasty, immature and unprofessional people. I had no idea that a company could be so awful to their customers. All I'd wanted was a basket with my bike and I ended up having to block them on Whatsapp to stop their nasty messages blaming ME for their awful website!

Update: rather than respond to the above complaints, the company has reported this review. Everything said here is completely true and I have the evidence if needs be...

I originally didn't have the correct information to find the parcel's whereabouts so I wrote this review (found below) and gave a 2/5 rating as I was starting to believe my parcel wouldn't ever arrive. The team at Canellini support were very helpful and contacted me straight away with the correct information, and they were very polite and appolagetic despite not being at fault. So I have now rated 5/5, although I am still waiting for the parcel, I will possibly add some more details when I have the package.

I didn't want to give a low rating, as I do have confidence that the parcel will arrive, but the tracking number doesn't work, and the only information I have is that the parcel has been "shipped". This isn't very informative, and I fear that I may not be in when the parcel is delivered, and the parcel could be stolen, if I knew when it was coming I could work my schedule around it, but until then I'm helpless.

The bike is wonderful & really great quality. The only downside to my whole shopping experience was no tracking number given, so I had no idea of how long it was going to take to arrive (it arrived in UK in only 7 days though, which I was impressed with)

I received my Dolce Vita Venere and tried it yesterday.
The delivery was fast and the bike arrived in perfect state.
After fixing the last details, the ride is very comfortable even with a baby-seat at the back.
The customer service was very efficient and fast as well.

My bike arrived yesterday. The shipping was fast and the bike is GORGEOUS. Even more beautiful than in the picture. The set up of the bike was very easy however, I personally didn't have the tools so I took it to the bike shop near my house. The bike rides very nicely. Probably the smoothest and most comfortable ride I've ever had. I love this bike. Thank you so much for such a beautiful and comfortable bike.

I purchased it 2 weeks ago and I have not received it. They told me the courrier has been lost during the shipment!!!!!!

My experience as a customer when Purchasing my bike was fantastic. I appreciated the responsiveness and the help I received while making my decision.
