Hands down the worst cashback platform…

Hands down the worst cashback platform out there. Randomly denies cashback. Randomly claws back cashback. The support team are worse than useless. Only use if no other cashback sites work for your chosen retailer.

WORST of the cashback platforms!

EASILY, the worst of the cashback platforms!
The advertised rates are often excellent, it's just a shame it's hit-and-miss whether you get any Avios.

Expect untracked transactions (which you cannot raise a claim for) and adjusted or removed transactions with no explanation. I've had over a hundred pounds of *eligible & genuine* transactions go untracked, be negatively adjusted and removed with no explanation. As some of my transactions have tracked, it's really a lottery with no logical explanation.

Where the BA eStore really excels is the appalling Customer Service agents who are a really unhelpful, miserable bunch, who seem to take sheer delight in sending generic responses and failing to investigate eligible claims.

Poor client service

1. They simply not dealing with your requests.
2. There is a repeating issue. BA or retail sit on transaction for a while then decline or cancel it unappropriately and then does not allow to challenge it because it's over six months. But that six months it was with BA and not me. Then they are not giving right to challenge that decision - contrary to what is said on the website or in communications.
And, see 1), they don't bother.

Simply does not work

None of my transactions have ever been tracked and I have never been awarded any avios. I've also reported missing avios for 5 transactions from January and February this year and still not heard back from any of them apart from Deliver where I was told they don't "entertain" missing avios claims. Really poor from BA

Absolutely terrible,

Absolutely terrible,
So glitchy it’s unreal, paid slightly more through this app for points only , yet I didn’t receive them, then it won’t let me fill in the the retailers name or date of purchase or upload any photos of proof of purchase,
Will certainly tell everyone to stay clear of them and I will go back to using top Cashback for sure

F**** shocking

Title is an understatement. I’ve made 2 purchases through their app, both tracked, I didn’t get any avios awarded, I then I filed claim for both of them, I got number of emails to wait patiently for an upcoming update, and today I found out that the email address they were contacting me from has been retired and I need to file a claim again!!! To add salt to the injury, I still can see both transactions are tracked but when filing claim, one of them is miraculously not visible and that’s the one for higher amount of avios. That’s it for me, I’ll never shop through their app again

Beyond infuriating

Beyond infuriating. This is verging on a scam. Almost 60% of my purchases have been clawed back by BA for spurious reasons. It’s like the want people to hate it. I have had to take time to contact them every time and get the reversal ‘reversed’.. It’s becoming so tedious now as not to be worth bothering

Too many retailers refuse to pay out for entirely valid transactions

Generally more hassle than it's worth. A huge number of companies contest valid claims numerous times (e.g. SONOS) and you end up waiting for months for the claim to be investigated. Trust me - I read the small print *very* carefully, the transaction is tracked and the only reason that the Avios payout isn't happening is because of clear corporate dishonesty.

Along with the 'payout refusers' like SONOS you then also have the nonsense from BA Avios estore itself denying that you clicked through the retailers page on their portal, despite you being able to see the tracking number on your history on the website.

Needs a root & branch overhaul with any companies that refuse to pay out for valid transactions to be booted off the platform for good.

Sainsbury's Avios "not last referral"

Every single Avios claim for Sainsbury's from August 2023 - Novermeber 2023 has now been cancelled. We do our shopping every week so adds to a lot of points.
Each one rejected as "not last referral" yet the points were 1st awarded then OVER two months down the line cancelled!
I always login to shopping.ba.com and then to Sainsburys via their link and complete the transaction in one go and do not amend it - inconvenient as I then end up not getting the delivery slot that I want. Yet still they say "not last referral"!

Tempt you with Avios and refuse to give any

Beware of BA shopping. All your attempt to get some Avios will be cancelled after your shopping. Many reasons given. For Sainsbury's, it's always "They won't honour claims for missing Avios" whatever that means. Then for others, "not last referral" - easy to say but never give a proof. I know I go straight to the site from the portal and make the purchase so it's a lie.
This site is truly dishonest and sell false advertising. Go to Topcashback. Must better to my opinion. Never again now.

Run Away

Honestly cannot believe that they are still so bad, even after years of errors they still haven't improved. If it weren't for the flights I took awhile back I would not have points because it REFUSES to account for any. When it finally does after sending proof and chasing them every other day, they contact you a couple of months later to cancel those points for NO REASON! I cannot STAND this site, it physically hurts to use it. I will not use it anymore, goodbye points!

Shockingly bad

Shockingly bad, nothing ever tracks properly so you constantly have to chase them. Some partners (Sainsburys' & Justeat for example) refuse to check referrals so if it doesn't track that's it, others (Dunelm) won't check until 2 months have passed. All in all a joke, you're better off using a decent cashback site which converts to Avios, whilst the Avios click payout will be less at least they'll all be accounted for.
