Criminal business conduct

Criminal business conduct. Charged USD 284 for 10kgs of goods including consolidation fees and removed more than half the weight and placed back into 'compliance review' - where the very same items lingered for over a week for no good reason (hard disks!) - not responding to support tickets, chat refers back to support tickets and emails within 1-2 business days but nothing ever happens. In the end one has to 'dispose of items' - worth hundreds of dollars. My US claims they will professionally dispose of the items. I am sure they will show up on ebay. Stay away from these criminals!

Made up the merchandise value!

They just make up the merchandise value!?! Directly contradicting how they claim they confirm the price from the invoice or with you directly. I paid 350 for my item and they recorded its value as 600 from nowhere and without checking with me. And from the other reviews here they do this often. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Dreadful experience

tldr; Stay away from MyUS

In addition to adding spurious extra charges, these guys have shocking customer service. When I bought $60 items to avoid import taxes, they marked them as $150 which translates to $70 with Fedex.

They have a customer service phone number which just tells you that they don't do customer service by phone. They have an online form which I filled in, but never got an answer to. They also have chat.

I waited over an hour to get someone on chat. When I finally did, they gave me canned answers. It was plain that they didn't care about helping their customers at all. In the end, they took $20 to "update" Fedex in order to fix the problem.

Except that it didn't fix the problem. Fedex still charged me $70. So I paid $37 in shipping which should have been $20, plus $70 to Fedex, plus $20 just to screw me over some more. Total $127 for a $60 item. I could have shipped it with Amazon for about $30 but thought they'd be cheaper.

Sometimes they are cheaper. But when something isn't 100% smooth, you end up paying a lot and the customer support is insulting.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have been contacting myUs repeatedly, without response or resolution, since my package which I requested shipping for on the 6th of November (10 days ago, with urgent handling and "ship tomorrow" has not yet shipped.

It is impossible to get hold of anyone in customer service.

I have sent 6 requests on their Contact Me page. Their voicemail service is full.

This is shocking, and disappointing, as I really needed my goods asap.

Appalling service

Today I got an email that my account was charged for $135 for a 3 kg parcel that was sent from USA to Ukraine. I had submitted the request for shipping 1 week ago and this put in two packages under total cost of $201. For all i can say they were sitting on my package for a week and no communication whatsoever from the shipping department and it was only saying "in-process". I chatted to the woman representative and she said i will speak to the manager. I said ok and i left it.

Monday is today and i get a shocking additional cost of $135 and all they said it was my fault because i selected options which they did not honor such as the special requests.

No idea as to why an additional $135 but in the end i am now ended up paying more than the original cost of them item.

When i spoke with the guy today John he made me feel i was responsible for their miscommunication and no response and immediately shipping without tell me the cost or agreeing the cost with me.

The guy John did not even bother to look into the history and tell me exactly why they did not respond to me, also everytime i ask him about the manager just saying "i can handle, manager is busy"

I would ask everyone not to bother with this company at all, they charge double price. and on top they just charge what they think is best. John did not even bother to look at when i made the shipping request the system charged for both the packages and didn't even bother to separate at that moment but later they charged the package separately.

Absolutely a SCAM and did not even bother to do anythng, he just kept saying this is what the system says. I asked him to look at the history!!! He did not care at all about that.

NEVER USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY.

The feature to create your ship request and send your parcels has not been working this past 2 weeks and they charge me automatically from my PayPal every day $15 for storage per item. They do not respond to your emails, twitter messages, Facebook messages or live chats online. They have left me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Never ever again. I am starting legal action against MyUs, Access USA Shipping LLC in the coming days with a series of other victims.

Stay away

I cannot believe I was taken in by the praise on their website. I actually believed it! No response online, or messages on Twitter, or their contact page, no phone service (mailbox full, not responding at this time). My package from the USA left there on Oct 5th with an unrecognisable tracking number (no designated carrier) It cost $40 in shipping and has vanished. I am so disappointed.

MyUS Service is abysmal!

My experience with MyUS was not that bad in recent months but I was smart enough not to ship too many things during COVID19.  Regardless, the experience was never great.  But OH MY GOD, they took the cake for terrible customer service starting this past weekend when I tried to create a shipment and I could not.  I had no idea what was going on but the "Create Ship Request" button was grayed out.  The app wasn't working either. 

I sent at least three emails.  I left two messages on Facebook, I tried the chat and it told me to wait, several times, once I waited 4 hours and it was still in queue!  No one got back to me.  The ticket was created and went nowhere.

Finally, after almost a week of no response, I gave up and changed my shipping option from "Hold" to "Weekly", and voila!  The shipping request was created but wait...there is more!  They decided to put 3 shipments out of 20 on hold because they supposedly contained "Dangerous Goods" and put them under review.  17 shipments were put in a single request.
My question is, WHY are these being reviewed now?  Why didn't they inform me when the shipment ARRIVED?  Today is the 30th of September.  One of these supposedly dangerous items is from a shipment that arrived on the 15th of September!  Another is from the 18th of September and the last one is from the 25th of September!  Seriously?  First, you can't be bothered to fix my problem.  Second, when I get around the problem using your own systems, I get slapped with a safety review (and most likely a hefty fee to send the item).  The items in question are icing in a compressed can.

I am gonna go ahead and close my account once the shipments are finalized.  These guys don't deserve my money.  We must vote with our wallets when vendors charge exorbitant sums of money and don't deliver (in my case, all my shipments are hundreds of dollars and they have made thousands from me in just a couple of years).  For others, I highly recommend Aramex's Shop and Ship service. Aramex aren't angels but at least thir system works even though there is no consolidation.

Service turned bad

2 weeks last parcel from ebay arrived to myus. It has not shown up on the items list yet. They dont answer mails or phone. Chat not working on their page. No communication. Terrible delays. Moments ago i requested shipping of the 4 items in my suite. I was heavily overcharged. A great disappointment. No clue where the fifth item gone...

Hope they don't lose your package, read on!

I had excellent experiences with MYUS with one big exception...

IF your package goes missing within the warehouse, they look for it for 7-10 days. After that, they will give you a credit (by you providing an invoice of your purchase) which will include the value of the item, and shipping. That's fair.

What is not fair is that if your package is located at a later date (if say someone comes across it by chance under a pile of other packages in the wrong department/bin) you will not be notified and the package will be discarded (or perhaps even kept by someone!) Who knows!?

I was told that there are thousands of packages to deal with every week, and they cannot put their focus on one package, which I understand! However, to not even give someone the chance to reclaim their package that was lost by MYUS in the first place is completely and utterly ridiculous. If that package had your wedding ring, irreplaceable pictures, or anything of great sentimental value or high rarity, you won't get it back even if they find it after the "looking period" when it is considered "lost"... seriously MYUS, you guys kick butt but that's a crappy policy, at least give customers the chance to claim their lost package if it happens to be located at a later date! Regardless whether or not anyone is "looking for it".

I was told all of this by a worker in a live chat from MYUS.

Will I keep using it? Yes, but I am now very apprehensive knowing that small packages may be lost and not reclaimable after you are issued your credit, EVEN if its highly unlikely that a package gets lost.

This site is a SCAM !!

I wish I would have seen the reviews first; I bought a coffee table from Design Toscano, pallet 130 pounds according with Design Toscano; MyUS.com have a shipping calculator with shipping costs 300 dollars to UK; however they said the weight is 170 pounds and they charged my card with 1500 dollars; looking on calculator they suppose to charge me 500 dollars for 170 pounds; This site is a GENUINE SCAM !! run away, run run run

MyUS.com is worst of the worst services

MyUS.com your process in myus shopping, i have to select the items that i need to purchase using your application. You generated a bill and deducted the money from my credit card which was 4117 SAR . Then you started to complete the purchase with the vendors and you have cancelled many items from my order and refunded me amount 2672 SAR.
Till now looks fine while delay of your process made me miss offers.
Then you deducted unjustified amount 158 SAR without notification.
Then you added the initial 4117 SAR on the shipment details which costed me additional customs fees instead of paying only the actual goods customs fees.
Delay could be a major issue but your process is costing me more money and making me loose buying opportunities with shops. Then you deduct money from my credit card without notifying me or justify.

Dishonest company, poor customer service

I’ve used myUS for a few parcels over the years and have always been happy, but this is ridiculous.

I ordered a pair of shoes for $25, and for some inexplicable reason myUS decided these shoes must be worth $80 and declared them as such on the customs declaration. I tried to stop this before the parcel shipped, but the system kept automatically submitting my parcel for dispatch (which is ironic when you consider how many other customers lately can’t get a parcel dispatched!) and because their chat feature is shut down I couldn’t contact anyone with any speed to update the invoice. I emailed with evidence of the actual cost but obviously it wasn’t replied to until after the parcel was automatically dispatched, and I’ve been saddled with a $58 customs bill on a $25 pair of shoes because they incorrectly valued.

I’ve been told that the $80 is “fair market estimate” which makes no sense given that they could see exactly which company the shoes had come from so could see exactly what they cost without pulling a figure out of their backside. They have given me no evidence of where they pulled this figure from, they just keep telling me how it’s “fair”

When I signed up to myUS I signed up as a free trial user to their premium service, and to cancel this free trial I had to get in touch with a customer service rep through the chat system. When I told this rep that I wanted to close my account, I was told that I’d be switched to a free account instead which I accepted as it made no difference to me. No terms were explained to me. I’ve used it a few times since because as I have it why not? And it hasn’t been a problem before now. But now this is being used as some kind of evidence for their shoddy customer service - apparently it’s my fault because I was supposed to upload an invoice to a part of the website I never knew even existed! Although this still doesn’t explain where they pulled $80 from!

PayPal saw my sides of things and refunded the shipping cost, as by cancelling the shipping request and them automatically dispatching it I revoked authorisation of the payment which they still took, which proves that legally they are in the wrong here. Of course they deny any responsibility though, and I’m still saddled with a customs bill that’s more than twice the value of the item.

Avoid this company, they’re dishonest and a massive headache to deal with.

Deplorable Service

If I could give zero stars right now I would 😏
I have been a MyUS customer for about 2 years and have always been pleased with the service, specifically the customer service and efficient shipping. However, I have been emailing this organization for the past 14 days regarding shipments they have in the awaiting action suite when invoices have been submitted. I understand we are in the midst of dealing with a pandemic but the fundamentals of customer service should not be lost in these times. There has been no acknowledgement to my emails when they advertise someone will get back to you within 24 hours. They have even turned off the online chat feature.... unbelievable!!!

Absolutely hopeless

Absolutely hopeless. My beautiful estate, 18k gold bracelet disappeared into this scam of a freight forwarding company on July 13 and hasn’t been seen since. After weeks of aggravation with unhelpful cut and paste customer service today - September 3rd - I received an email saying ...oops can’t find it. 🤬🤬🤬

MyUS = MyUseless!!!

Disgusting fraudulent company!
PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT! You will pay to be aggravated,lied too and money stolen from you as packages gets lots, misplaced not checked in like promised between 4-10 days. The result of myUs delays in checking packages in makes the return policies of big companies like amazon run out before you are in the need to return a product for what ever reason so you as the customer looses money. My package was in review then cleared for sending and on 24th of Aug i was told that my package will only be sent in January 2021. I tried to contact and have item returned as soon as i was told about this 4 month hold on delivery where i still have to pay the monthly fee of $7 to myUs. It was not in my control to have had this sorted out before the 30day return policy expired. Now that i am keeping myUs liable to communicate with amazon to have items returned so i can get a refund or myUs needs to refund me and keep my package they block and delete messages on facebook so the other clients dont see hoe bad this company is. Its alway blamed on covid or someone will contact you shortly or please reply in private message..... why?? Cause its easier to silence clients then to take responsibility and provide the service you are paying for. MyUs has NO customer service!!! You can not reach them on any of the contacts supplied. The only way of maybe getting hold off them is thru facebook.
Read thru myUs post,comments on facebook before joining! Save your money or go to other companies that offer the same service even if they are more expensive on monthly fees. This company is so ridiculous that they will engage with some clients on facebook with sarcastic responses. We have the right to query your work ethics,service and where our paid for items are! MyUS = MyUseless
