I place an order than God only for two items. My card was charged, and I was given an order number. Now that was over 2 weeks ago still no email from them about status of order. I have emailed gave my order number but still no reply back from you guys on status. I just want to see when its arriving to see if I can purchase more.

Scam

Scam. Placed a order, whole month went by and did not ship out my order. Kept giving me the run around then when I asked for a refund they stop responding via email. Never again. Gave them a shot because I thought their pieces were cute but never again, first and last time. I try to support small businesses but this a price example as to why some people don’t.

We're sorry you seem to have had a bad experience with us. However, we have never, and will never be a scam. We have thousands of customer tags, proving that we have many satisfied customers. We have never denied any customer a refund, unless the order was already in transit. In which, we provide them with return instructions. So we can provide a refund when the item is back in our possession. 90% of our items are ready to ship, but we do have a few items that are preorder and take 3 to 4 weeks. Which sounds like what you probably ordered. I have tried to search your name in our system, and don't see any order information which your first and last name in our database. We'd love to help you resolve this issue, please email info@shoppinkplastic.com.

It's been a few days and we still haven't received an email from you regarding a refund request. We would love to resolve this issue for you as soon as possible. Terrible quality and worse customer service

0/10. Ordered 3 items, one dress was stained, one the wrong size, and one item hasn't even come in and it's been over 2 weeks since I ordered and 1 week since they "expedited shipping". No one replies to my emails and I have not received a tracking number. Terrible customer service

Poor customer service, fraudulent activity

They sent me the incorrect item and promised to send the correct item once the original package was checked in at the post office.

Over a month later, I didn't receive any update on my package and was told they would give me a refund. However, weeks have passed and no refund was ever completed. They are now ignoring my messages, resulting in me having to file a complaint with the BBB.

We thank you for your feedback. However, there seems to have been some miscommunication. You used a gift-card credit ( after an exchange from a previous order) to purchase a new item. We did make a mistake, and sent you the wrong size. We sent you a return label right away. Also, we issued a refund immediately. But because you purchased with a gift-card, it was sent back to the card. You then sent us several emails, under the same email thread, before our regular response time was finished. Which as we state in our automatic message, causes the emails to sometimes go to spam. You requested that the money was refunded not to the giftcard used, but directly to your card. We never refused to refund you or stopped answering your emails.

With that being said we responded within our response timeframe, and provided you a refund directly to your card. In fact, you received a refund and response before you wrote this review.

This policy is on our website with its on dedicated page, again under every item's description, and at checkout where you agreed to our terms. Great customer service and quality

Got my gf a birthday gift from them and it shipped quickly and fit perfectly. Had to reach out through email for a couple questions about sizing and they responded in a timely and respectful manner. Definitely will be shopping with them again.

Birthday Surprise !!

My boyfriend bought some clothes for me as a surprise and he told me they were very helpful in finding the perfect dress. I honestly loved it and had an amazing birthday. They even shipped it through express so he could see the dress in hand and decide if it was the right one.

Shop Elsewhere

I live in South Africa and usually send packages home in the US and collect them once I’m back stateside, as it works better for shipping & custom taxes.

I bought two items from them about 3/4 months before arriving in the US.

1st the shipping took well over the time stated and when I contacted them about the order via email there was no response. So like others I resulted to commenting under Insta pictures and was responded with a DM. The conversation became unprofessional and I chose not to respond as the package ended turning up about two days later.

I arrived to the US only to see they only sent one of the two items, when I sent an email about this nearly a month ago…There was no response.

At that point, I didn’t feel like going back and forth with someone who clearly doesn’t know how to run a business. They should take the $60 I lost and put it toward a course on how to run a business or how to professional work with customers. Also, the clothes I purchased I’ve seen on two other websites, don’t spend your money here.

I was going to wait until I received my…

I was going to wait until I received my order but I’m highly annoyed. I placed an order a week ago today and followed their instructions on requesting a faster shipping method which stated to email them with the subject line faster shipping or something of that sort, because they only had one available during checkout. I emailed them over 4 times because the outfits that I ordered were for a trip that I was taking over the weekend. They didn’t get back to me until two days later with the additional shipping options and stated that even if I did pay for expedited shipping it still wouldn’t get to me in time. Why even have that option to email you requesting faster shipping if those emails aren’t going to be taken as priority?? Here we are a week later and still no updates on my order or it being sent. Today I messaged them during the morning time on Instagram, no response. I then commented under a picture that they had just posted during the same time still no response 7 hours later. Really confused why no one has gotten back to me especially when they keep posting on social media. I really wanted to like this company but the customer service and communication needs help.

Update: Finally got a response after they saw that I made this review. Very unprofessional and rude stating that they followed their policy which in fact they did not and they cancelled my order which is totally fine. Worst experience ever do not shop here

We do want to note that we have only received two emails during late evening (5:25pm) on April 12th which we did respond to the following business day despite our policy which states that customers can expect a 24-48 hour response time. There is also an automated email that is sent to all customers after checkout to make sure our policies are clearly understood. Our records indicate you were helped by our customer service team within our response time window after every email received, in addition we have also given instructions on how to place an express order through our site which has still not been purchased at this time.

We have also even offered you a refund for your purchase within 24 hours of receiving your follow up email. We urge customers to comply with the standard policies in place so that we can effectively provide adequate service. Without any shipping upgrade purchased there is not much we can do.


Furthermore our policy states that ALL inquiries regarding existing orders should be handled via email. Contacting us via social media is ineffective as it goes against our policy and slows down our entire team.  As we are a small company we are working diligently to cater to all customer questions / concerns in a timely manner so contacting us through our customer service email Info@shoppinkplastic.com is the only way to receive adequate service.

We value the feedback you’ve given and we hope to have cleared up any confusion.

We just want to respond to your update, since there still seems to be miscommunication regarding your order that was refunded last month. That is correct ,we did respond to you after your initial review was made, but it was within 24 hours of your first email. In fact, we asked why you prematurely provided us with a 1 star rating since you didn’t wait 24 hours for us to respond. As established on our website, we are a small company, we do our best to get to everyone before 24 hours. But we do believe our policy of 24-48 hours is pretty reasonable, given our size.
As we mentioned in the previous response. Your order was on hold because you told us you wanted to order express, we provided you with instruction (twice), and you never purchased. Unfortunately, you were not satisfied with the our standard policies and customer service. With that being said out of courtesy, we offered to fully refund you that same day. Which you accepted and we processed. Its very important to read our policies before placing your order to make sure there isn’t any confusion.

We do appreciate your feedback, regardless of its mendaciousness.

beautiful pieces😍

I love this company! I ordered two separate garments from them, The Vivian dress in yellow and the serenity bottoms! Both came in exactly when they said they would with no issues!! The material on the Vivian dress is so light and comfortable I wore it in 90+ degree weather and had no problems! I will definitely be buying more garments in the future!

Birthday Outfit

When I first saw the reviews for the company, I was hesitant to purchase but I took the chance anyway because I needed birthday outfits for my trip. I ended up ordering the Serenity Bottoms, Camila Skirt, and the Alison Set. They all shipped the day after I ordered and arrive in time for my trip. They even posted me on instagram!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ordered 3 items for well over $100 and I am beyond unsatisfied. I only received TWO ITEMS and then on top of all this the one item I didn't receive was specifically for an upcoming trip (I ordered 2 MONTHS in advance) and the owner swore she would ship another out (after telling me they no longer even had the color I wanted) I agreed to getting a different color and a $10 refund credit. -_- Still haven't received anything almost a month later! Poor customer service and ever poorer price for the quality of service AND products you receive... will most likely not shop here again...

Furthermore, the owner does not handle customer service, and did not say the missing item was shipped out. Our customer service team did let you know it was an error on our end. We took full responsibility and offered to send a refund or exchange. Unfortunately, when you agreed to switch, the customer rep accidentally marked it as refund. We understand your frustration, however, we are human, and do make mistakes. We did answer all of your inquiries within 24 hours, and issued a full refund for the missing item on top of refunding you fully for shipping. We can only learn from this communication error/mistake and make sure it doesn't happen again. Once again, we do apologize for the inconvenience.

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service. Only time they respond is when presented with the opportunity to quarrel. It’s such a shame because the clothing has such great potential. Unfortunately, would not recommend. Don’t do it to yourself.

Everything I purchased fit me so well, the quality of the material is on point. I will definitely be shopping here for life. They have a life long customer!!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!...UNPROFESSIONAL, CONDESCENDING, HORRIBLE

I neverrrrr write reviews because like - who has the time? lol well I have time TODAY.

This company is SOOO unprofessional it’s not even funny. I returned an item in November. I was told that I have been sent store credit via a discount code. I went to use the code and it was not working. I emailed them because I’m trying to order the dress for Christmas. Their response says they’ll email back in 48 hours max. I gave them TWO WHOLE DAYS and they never responded. I emailed AGAIN on the 3rd day and still no response. They had some bullsh*t excuse talking about “if you email continuously, it pushes the response time back”. JUST HIVE ME MY CODE ABD SHUT UP!!!

I finally went to their IG and commented and they deleted my comment and instead slid in my DMs. So that thing others have said about deleting HONEST negative statements is true. I was told in my DMs that I would get a response that same day via email. I waited THE WHOLE DAY and not one response. So today I DM them A G A I N. And FINALLY they email me with a gift card.

I love supporting black owned businesses but my expectation of quality customer service doesn’t change just because we belong to the same race. DO BETTER and stop being so condescending when ppl ask for THEIR MONEY. That was my money and I had to run down on you for it. That is weird. I will neverrrrrr do business with them again and I have so many sisters and friends who I will never let buy from them either. That’s what happens when you mess up and instead of being polite, you act like an a**hole.

As stated on our Policy section we make it a point to respond to all email inquiries within 24 - 48 hours with the exception for minor delays during peak season such as the holiday season. We maintain transparency with our customers when it comes to any important service / quality updates through our newsletters, email, and social media accounts.

We do not delete negative reviews and welcome any criticism a customer might have. However as a security measure we do immediately remove any comments that contain private information. In this instance once the comment was removed, we quickly followed up with you via Direct Message to get you in touch with our customer service team so they can help you with your inquiry. After continuing correspondence via email we also informed you that sending multiple emails in a row disrupts our email thread and moves your inquiry further back as we answer inquiries in the order they were received. Our Server might also mistake your repetitive emails as spam which would cause your inquiry to be lost. As we tell all customers, the best way to get in touch about your inquiry is to wait the standard response time given.


Since we recently moved to a new website host We made sure to send an email to all customers giving updated information including any applicable store discount codes. We see that you were provided with the accurate code so you should be able to be able to apply that to your order just in time for the holidays. Again we do apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. We hope this has clarified any concerns you may have and we hope you have a pleasant holiday season.

Great Customer Service

I wanted to leave a review because I had a great experience with pink plastic. So I ordered a white dress and I needed it in like 3 days so they showed me how to order express. When I ordered it, I messed up on my address so it actually didn't get delivered and it got sent back. I emailed them and they let me know that I forgot my apartment number. They made me pay a reshipment fee of like $7 and they next day the dress to me. Their customer service was very helpful. Will definitely shop again!

They make it so hard to support them

Non responsive customer service only accessible via email.

Whenever you inquire about orders or mention delivery issues in comments they delete them immediately. I really want to support this small business but they are non communicative and dodgy.

Also a lot of the items they sell can be found on other sites!
