I am really enjoying my Shrooly. It was easy to set up and maintain. I just harvested my second flush from my first pod and was pleased with the results. My only issue is that the app isn't always allowing me to get info. I usually just check the device itself. Thanks for the delicious pink oyster mushrooms!

Long awaited success!
Everyone that bought a Shrooly knew it was an investment and it would be a long while before we got the finished product. I also got frustrated waiting. Anytime I contacted the company, someone got right back with a response. We got ours in June and have grown yellow oyster mushrooms with great success. Can’t wait to try another type!
Love that the programs already entered for available types take the guesswork out of growing. Even for the “anymush” pods there are lots of tips on how to grown your own successfully, no matter what the type!
Recommend this product!

Great device, work with different types of pod, even with not the original. Easy to clean.
Some trouble with the application and website for acing order and other minor inconvenience (bugs and other) but easy tu fix by contacting customer service.

Yummy mushies hehehe :D I like lions mane because of the neurotrophic properties and I’m growing pink oyster now! Can’t wait to try them!

Ordered the product 2 years ago, I have been in contact multiple times for a refund. The company have said they cannot issue refund due to their Ts&Cs saying the order may have delays, however they are not sticking to their promises of the time scales and the goal post is constantly changing. Avoid this company at all costs

While they took awhile and initially were VERY slow in responding, once I got someone to look into my issue (claiming pod credits from Kickstarter) there were VERY VERY responsive and fixed my problem (it wasn't easy!). Anyway, the team seems to be turning things around and I enjoy my Shrooly A LOT now.

Wow.. I was impressed… I always tried grow bags.. and Failed!! With Shrooly.. I followed directions and BOOM a very large bloom and harvest… so easy to use and the machine looks awesome

Beware! Scam and Criminals

Purchased Aug-07-2022. Only ever received emails saying why it was not ready and not delivered. It's now 3 years later July 2025!!!

No item received, no return or refunds of payment after multiple requests. Fraud written all over it!

Do not buy. Any positive review here is written by the company with a bot!

The worst mushroom growing experience I’ve had – completely disappointed with both the device and the support.

I really wanted the Shrooly device to work. I gave it multiple chances — used several pods (from Shrooly and other sellers), changed locations, followed every instruction, used the app, invested time and extra money on pods... and still, mushrooms dried out or failed to grow properly every single time.

Meanwhile, mushrooms I grew in simple plastic bags right next to the Shrooly did just fine. That tells you everything.

Despite sharing photos and explaining all my tests, support refuses a refund and keeps insisting the problem is with the pods. In my opinion, the device simply doesn’t work.

Don’t waste your time or money — just use plastic containers or bags. It’s cheaper, easier, and actually works.

Total scam. My package was returned months ago (I never even had it) and they won’t send me a refund. Horrible experience, waste of time and money.

Every now and then I grow shrooms, I have always bought "grow kits", which are usually a simple opaque bag where you can't actually see how the shrooms are growing... So when I saw an ad about Shrooly in instagram I loved it.

The only thing I would change about it is adding a "heater" to it, so in winter the Shrooly could take care of everything. Beyond that, I love it.

I like the Shrooly unit and the concept very much. The Shrooly unit is beautiful designed, easy of use, works well and it comes with a user friendly, helpful app.
I love watching the different mushrooms grow, it’s fascinating to see them evolve quickly.
The support team is very helpful and always responsive.
It’s a pity it gets too cold in the Netherlands during winter to grow mushrooms, otherwise I would grow mushrooms all through the year (:

Ordered my unit through Indiegogo on 2/5/2023—still waiting.

We have loved the Shrooly unit, the soft light it gives off is very pleasing and the interface is great too. We like that we can see the temperature and humidity and don’t need to worry about airflow because of built in fan.
We did have problems with mold on our first block and have been waiting for a new block to try again. The support team was very helpful and is always responsive. Can’t wait to grow some delicious and beautiful mushrooms with the Shrooly!

I ordered my machine a few weeks ago and it was shipped via amazon in a few days. Upon arrival we set it up and began growing. The product itself has solid functionality and is easy to use once you are familiar to the concepts involved.

Pretty amazing - good product and process!

I've purchased the shrooly a few months ago. I like the design and ease of use. Once the pod is put in the box, all you have to do is wait, refill the water tank when it tells you to and watch the mushrooms grow.
I don't give the full 5 stars because the first two attempts failed. Maybe the temperature of 21°C was too low during spring, although it's within the suggested temp range.
Both pods were immediately replaced for free by their proactive and helpful support team!
The pink oysters were fascinating to watch and made a delicious topping for my meal.

After a long wait, I received my two machines! They work great and customer service has been great to work with!

I ordered directly from Shrooly in November 2023 and still haven’t received my product. I was told all UK orders would be fulfilled by January – it’s now June.

Multiple attempts to email and request updates or some semblance of reassurance. No clear answers, just vague replies, likely AI as i've received almost the exact same response to two different emails with completely different questions. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering their product. Aside from this i've heard disappointing feedback about the product.
