Popped in unannounced this busy lunchtime in Chester and was able to get a table after a few minutes. The ambience is very good, the christmas decors traditional but very effective. As for the staff, they were terrific from the lady who met us art the door to our dedicated waitress Sophie who could not do enough to make our stay very memorable. I am not one to willingly use trustpilot but felt on this occasion my comments had to be put down in black and white. To anyone visiting establishment, this comes with my full recommendation. I love Shrub in Chester, the food is absolutely delicious, I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like or finish!

We had an amazing vegan meal here during our last trip to Chester. Had a lovely afternoon, finished off with a delicious family meal at Shrub, enjoyed by Mum, Dad and our 8 year old son. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and we can't wait to go back every time we visit Chester. Keep up the great work guys 👏🌱
