I would definitely recommend this programme. The gentleman who runs it is very polite and extremely helpful. The laptops are in excellent condition and fully meet my family’s needs. I am very impressed with the overall service and support provided.

They sold me a gpu via bol.com, then changed their minds and issued a return while it was still on it’s way, without any communication. Then they refused all attempts to get clarification and didn’t want to honour the sale. They later clarified that this was because they 'made a mistake with the price'. The price was low, but not that low that the average consumer should know it's a mistake, which would be the only legal way they could cancel the purchase on that basis. Second of all, I, as a consumer have the right to issue a return, they do not have the right to intercept my order and issue a return in my name. And then, out of the blue, they start claiming the cards are not new, but repaired and that's why they couldn't sell them via bol.com. This company has no issue with unethical, and possibly illegal business practices, customers should be aware.

Ordered something through "bol.com". It was never shipped. After a few days it got refunded without further explanation. Got my money back but still an inconvenience.

Excellent service! Few months ago I bought a Asus laptop for a great price, after some weeks the screen ended up defective with a sea of red pixels, contacted SHS and the laptop was immediately sent in for repairs, took a while but got my laptop back with a brand new screen, been enjoying it thus far!

SHS has handled the entire process really well.

They send me a laptop which was not working with constant blue screens indicating hardware issues. I send it back but they kept about 1/5 of the price (200€) because of a tiny scratch. Please do not buy from the company selling this laptop as if you control also their reputation on internet (google etc) they have had a lot of issues with customers which is not directly indicated on backmarket (the platform on which they sell their refurbished material).

I was a bit cautious with this company after reading the many negative reviews, but I must say my experience isn't that bad at all. OK, they don't ship within 24 hours, although this is stated on their website, and for some strange reason, no invoice or order confirmation is sent by email (this I would improve). But they offer 2 years warranty on a refurbished laptop, which I think is really good, and the VAT refund was done within 10 business days as promised. And friendliness works both ways; I never got any rude response, although the laptop did have a small defect (which I managed to fix myself). I didn't rant about it. The after-sales employee was helpful and responded very quickly.

I get the feeling that many of the negative reviews are written by people who are quite demanding. Nothing wrong with that. But in that case, maybe a better idea would be to buy directly from a manufacturer. This would of course be more costly and this they probably want to avoid. You can't have your cake (inexpensive products) and eat it (large customer support department) too. The staffing costs need to come from somewhere. Be reasonable, people.

Terrible customer service! I returned a laptop, sent them dozens of emails about returning my money and they never replied to any of them. Never got my money back and the laptop is now gone. I sent it to a collection agency to deal with now. Also any negative review left behind anywhere gets you a speedy response by SHS where you basically get spit on for daring to complain. Maybe instead of personally attacking people for telling the truth about your company you should try to fix things. How about that?!

Not the fastest experience but they delivered the videocards i ordered. Delivery time was bit longer than i hoped for but they arrived which is in these times a plus. Would be better if they used an oversize box with packing material.
