DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered a chest of drawers and when it arrived after a few weeks - it was a small fake costume jewellery ring from China. It's a total scam. I have got in touch but heard nothing back.
SCAM!! Do not order anything from this site, I ordered a sofa side table and got a rubbish pair of earrings that looked like something out of a Christmas Cracker! Please don’t be fooled by this site like I was!
Tried to order and then after payment went through they sought a further payment. Cancelled order.
Then re-ordered and this time they wanted via paypal a payment for subscription - total con! Avoid.
Note they have a number of sites that they run.
The name "Julian Bowen" is linked to a number of sites!
I was tempted to order from here but seemed too good to be true. I thought I’d better check out their “about us” section on the website and it details how they are a fashion outlet for mid teens to mid twenties! Then googled it and found the other reviews that state it’s definitely a scam. Avoid!
total scam site , they take your money , we ordered a chest of drawers and got a ring , address in leeds dont exsist , lucky bank reimbursed , dont not order at all from them you will not get your item , they say item is dispatched , but cant tell you what item as they send something random of less value
Fraudulent website. Do not use. Have just lost £92 to a scam.
I consider myself pretty tuned in to scams, but this one caught me! I ordered a wardrobe from them for £99.99, initially payment process followed normal process, but then took me to PayPal screen, I stopped immediately. I've reported site to Fraud UK. I'm waiting the 30 days before my bank will accept a charge back claim. Weirdly the MasterCard showed £79.99.
Feeling pretty annoyed, website was very professional, couldn't spot any of usual clues.
Lessons learnt,...if it looks too good and price to cheap....beware!
SCAM. Do not order from this website. I saw a Dunelm side table on here for £40 cheaper than the Dunelm price and ordered it. The total cost was £83.30, they attempted to take a payment of £169.40. Luckily my bank picked this up as fraudulent activity and blocked this payment. I have had to cancel my credit card but wish I had read reviews first. Also when I placed my order I was given just an order number nothing else on the screen and no confirmation email.
I ordered a duvet cover and received Ray Ban sun glasses from China - course they are "real".
Away to contact CC company
SCAM!!! After waiting three weeks for a new wardrobe to be delivered to my mum, I have finally received a pair of fake Rayban sunglasses which I’ve paid £100 for! Please avoid fake companies like these should not be allowed to advertise online. Needless to say, my 88-year-old mum is very upset.
SCAM WEBSITE. I ORDERED AN OAK EFFECT CONSOLE TABLE COSTING £24.99, THE ITEM (cheap, nasty, flimsy sunglasses) I RECEIVED IS SO BAD THAT THE FAST FOOD COMPANY WHICH PROVIDES TOYS WITH THEIR HAPPY MEALS WOULDN'T GIVE THIS CRAP AS A GIFT. I ORDERED FROM SIDEBOARDSHOP.COM BUT THE ITEM RECEIVED WAS FROM AXTURES.COM BASED IN HONG KONG.
Appears to be a complete con. I ordered goods today. No email confirmation etc Address shown is 84 Bond Street Leeds - checked it out there is no 84 Bond Street in Leeds the numbers don't go as high. Called bank card people to put a stop to payment. No stars due for non existent company.
