So prompt and easy!!!
Improvements made and thus credit is due
After reconsideration and additional time utilizing Sidecar, I would rate them a 4 out of 5. Though I think they can continue to improve their processes and make it easier for claims, it is a nice company and my recent interactions with staff and support have been good.

Thank you, Sidecar!
Sidecar Health has been literally a Godsend for us this past couple of years. My family and I have been through hardships with our health and had the potential to put us in great financial debt. We used sidecar in addition to traditional insurance and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Sidecar is efficient, clear, generous, and the staff is also easy to communicate with. We have told SO many people about Sidecar and what a blessing it's been. Thank you, Sidecar, for helping me and my family is our time of great need!

Medication does not show up on smart phones
Medication does not show up on smart phones, you need medicine and spend a day trying to find it for the right price. Sidecar is making the person do all the work or it will cost you money and you might have to drive 20 miles to get it. Don't like it at all!

The resolution of concerns
The resolution of concerns. Explanations of how benefits would be applied.
Very limited benefits not worth reduced premiums.
How can they say this coverage is ACA compliant when it’s an Indemnity type policy? They say you can use any provider but most Doctors don’t take cash or self pay. They say they reimburse you based on their rates but the rates are unavailable. It is not transparent so you have no idea what services will be out of pocket. This type will insurance makes me feel overwhelmed trying to find out the cost in advance and how to get prior approvals. I am concerned about being vulnerable to going into medical debt and not getting the care I may need due to cost. It is hard to get a benefit coordinator to help. I rather have coverage under an ACA plan that is transparent.

Love Love Love Sidecar!
Great 'Insurance' that incentivizes getting a discount and looking for the best price. I'm very happy. I've only ever had one issue and they resolved it the same day. They are very happy to explain anything or answer any questions.
Amazing health insurance
Amazing health insurance. Actually makes me go to the doctor because I have all the control and make great connections with my providers due to this insurance. I love it and it helps me make my appointments and find doctors/ prescriptions that will save me money :)
Deductibles and finding care
Finding Dr's and Pharmacies under Sidecar allowed prices is impossible. I am on 5 meds and they suggest using 3 different Pharmacies splitting my meds between them. One if those Pharmacies was 67 miles from me. So I chose to get all 5 meds at a single Pharmacy. They paid the $48 upfront. I reimbursed the $48. They inform me only $27 of that will be applied to my deductible because that's how much they will cover. First of all, my deductible has not been met so I am responsible for 100%. I paid $48 out-of-pocket, $48 should apply to the deductible!
SCAM!!! Easy way to make sure someone doesn't hit thier deductible I guess.
UPDATE:
IT IS NOT TRUE THAT MY PRESCRIPTIONS WERE UNDER WHAT YOU COVER. I PAID $48 AND YOU ONLY APPLIED $27 TO MY DEDUCTIBLE. I HAVE PROOF FROM YOUR OWN APP.

You were the best health coverage…
You were the best health coverage EVERRRRRRR
Sad to know they will not be offering…
Sad to know they will not be offering this type of insurance when we are up for renewal. They have covered 2 unexpected hospital stays. The app is very easy to use and uploading receipts has been very easy. Again, very disappointed that they are no longer offering this.
I was very skeptical when we first…
I was very skeptical when we first started this insurance. It took me a while to figure it out, And I often had to call to ask for help, everyone that I came in contact with was very pleasant and very helpful!!
I'm so glad I have Sidecar Health
I'm so glad I have Sidecar Health. Initially, I was skeptical about using it but it turned out to be simpler than I thought. I live in Georgia and everyone takes cash at the time of service and haven't given me a hard time about it!
Customer Service Saved my Loyalty
I have been struggling to use Sidecar for a while now. The system while actually simple, is kind of a pain to get used to and learn. A large portion of the problem is that I received no guidance from my employer's HR department on it.
I called today due to an outstanding bill that I did not believe was accurate. Javier B. helped me out and thoroughly explained the system sidecar uses and how I can make the best use of the system. He waited on me to find sites and comprehend what he was saying, and he answered my questions completely with a good attitude, even when I knew I was asking repeat questions.
I would have given Sidecar 2 Stars before this interaction, as the system is not as self explanatory as I would want and requires quite a bit of work to use to it's fullest extent. Javier helped me understand and was patient the whole time. He made it possible for me to not pay any money for the diabetes supplies that I haven't been able to afford, the supplies that are much nicer than what I've been using.
I'm sorry if this is what your stuck with
Side car health is worse than Obama care!! The want you to treat your health care like buying a car. When your medical bill is higher than what they "deem" acceptable it comes straight out of pocket and is NOT applied to your deductible. You would be better off putting the premiums in an acct. and self pay, thats what your doing anyhow. It doesn't seem legal how they conduct business and in the future it may be proven that they aren't.

Customer service excellence
Everyone has helped so much. I knew something was not correct with my expenses but i didn't know what or why? They've helped me find the problem and have helped me so much to correct it and i couldn't be more grateful. Working for McDonald's every dollar is so critical for me. Thank you so much
0 stars!
0 stars!! DO NOT GET Sidecar health!! Not only did Sidecar health tell me my therapy would be covered only to reject all of my submitted receipts, they took $1700 out of my account with NO heads-up! When I called to see why, they told me I was automatically enrolled in auto pay?! Um I did not consent to that. They said because I was auto enrolled I would not be given a reimbursement. I was willing to pay with a credit card etc. but they continuously said it was my fault! I have filed fraud. Sidecar health is a joke, they make you submit your own claims like you are a part time insurance agent and on top of that lie about your coverage! They try to pull you in with “nothing is out of network” but that’s because they don’t have a network and can pick and choose what they accept! It’s a complete disgrace. I will also be contacting the better business bureau. If you have sidecar health or even hear the name uttered in your direction, run from this pestilence of a “company” as fast as you can!

Canceled my policy with no warning
I noticed a payment on my Sidecar Visa card got declined last week and went to investigate today. When I logged in, you can imagine my surprise when I saw that my policy had been canceled.
I spoke to support and apparently they had sent a request for additional information a couple months ago. I never responded. After digging through my email, I found it. But nowhere in the email does it mention that my policy was at risk of termination.
After talking about it more with support, I did find mention of the termination risk. In an attachment. At the bottom of the second page.
YOUR POLICY WILL BE CANCELED IN 30 DAYS should have been the subject of the email, the first thing in the body of the email, and the first thing in the attachment. Not buried at the bottom of the second page of the attachment.
When I volunteered to submit the information they had requested, they said they couldn't reinstate my policy.
For reference, here's the entire text of the email they sent me:

All downhill
Up until last year, I had used this insurance a few times after having the policy for over four years. For the past four years, I had the insurance and never went to see any doctor—they were happy to keep taking my premium. Last year, I went to the eye doctor and had physical therapy, and everything was fine—the policy reimbursed me. Then suddenly, they started declining my expenses and made me pay for the deductible. They aren't covering certain procedures they did before, even though it is the same. They changed the rules, so I'll be looking into that. When confronted, they find excuses to not pay. If you don't want to pay, you should not collect the premiums. I no longer recommend this insurance to any doctors or friends. I used to say this is how insurance should be, but now it’s just a policy I’ll keep until I move away. They do their best to avoid paying, and they no longer pay on time either. Every expense takes more than three weeks unless they are declining it. If they aren't covering certain procedures, why are they listed in their search? It’s just a trick to get you to buy the insurance.
