The engineer was absolutely outstanding…
The engineer was absolutely outstanding and a terrific ambassador for Siemens service. My wife and I agreed that he was so good that he constitutes a compelling reason to stick with Siemens products in future. (we have been Miele etc fans in the past) He knew what he was talking about, solved problems we hadn't even realised we had and generally went above and beyond. Service of this quality is very rare indeed.
Spent a fortune on studio line…
Spent a fortune on studio line appliances and the home connect is really bad!!! Not worth the cost!! Other appliances same functions half the price. Very disappointed!!!!
IQ300 Washer/Dryer
This review relates to the IQ300 washer/dryer, probably the worst appliance I've ever owned in my long life. The manual is unintelligible. It doesn't dry. The door locks after closing, and can't be opened. It can't be easily cleaned. It has settings that no normal household will ever use. Even the rotating dial's marker is invisible for normal use. I could go on, but if you have any choice of machines *at all*, avoid this one. Really.
By people who don’t cook, for people who don’t cook
Siemens studioLine induction hobs, by people who don’t cook, for people who don’t cook. It is by far the worst hob I have ever had the misfortune of owning.
Safety Incident: Oven Glass Shattered
The inner glass of our Siemens oven suddenly shattered during preheating. The oven is only a few months old and has never been damaged. The technician looked at it for a few seconds, refused to do any real inspection, and immediately claimed we must have broken it ourselves.
I later filed a complaint, and was told that this model “does not have this issue,” again implying user damage — despite the fact that spontaneous glass shattering is a well-known problem reported by many Siemens customers. They also ignored my offer to provide the broken glass for proper analysis.
Instead, we were quoted nearly €500 for replacement while the oven is still under warranty. Extremely disappointing handling of a clear safety incident.
Siemens overrated brand
I purchased Siemens oven, combi oven, fridge freezer dishwasher and hob 10 years ago and they were a premium brand and the reviews (including which) are favourable but I don't think they are anything special they haven't been heavily used and they are all at the end of their lives now and not worth repairing.
*1/5 Stars
*1/5 Stars - AVOID THE SIEMENS EQ6*
I'm writing this review as a warning to others: stay away from the Siemens EQ6 coffee machine. My experience with this device has been nothing short of disastrous.
Key Issues
- *Frequent Breakdowns*: The machine has broken down multiple times, requiring costly repairs and leaving me without a functioning coffee maker.
- *Poor Customer Support*: Siemens' customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive, leaving me to deal with the issues on my own.
- *Inconsistent Coffee Quality*: The coffee quality is inconsistent, with some brews being too weak or too strong. The machine's inability to maintain a consistent temperature doesn't help.
- *Difficult Cleaning*: Cleaning the machine is a nightmare. The brewing unit is a pain to clean, and the automated cleaning feature is ineffective.
- *Noise Level*: The machine is ridiculously loud, making it impossible to use during early morning or late evening hours.
Design and Features
- *Flimsy Build Quality*: The machine's build quality is subpar, with cheap materials and a fragile design.
- *Limited Features*: The EQ6 lacks advanced features, such as customizable brewing profiles or a frothing wand.
- *Outdated Software*: The machine's software is outdated, leading to frequent errors and connectivity issues.
Verdict
The Siemens EQ6 is a poorly designed, unreliable, and overpriced coffee machine. With its frequent breakdowns, poor customer support, and inconsistent coffee quality, it's a device that's more trouble than it's worth. Save your money and look elsewhere for a reliable coffee maker.
A total SCAM
A total SCAM! I bought several Siemens appliances from the agent in Malta and EVERYTHING is coming apart! Fridge had to be changed after one year, freezer drawers all break with minimal handling and oven enamel on the inside completely rusted after 5 years of use once a week. A total rip off! Avoid!!!
Poor laundry results
I have had this washing machine (isensoric Q300) for several months now and am extremely disappointed, to say the least. Towels do not come clean on a short wash, but the standard wash takes over 3 hours, so no chance of drying more than one load in a day. The towels come out board hard even when I have reduced the amount of powder and added an extra rinse. The wash cycle is very harsh on the clothing, which comes out very creased. My T- shirts have become "washed out" looking and have stretched in just a few months. Although it states an 8 kg load, this is only on the Cotton cycle - the quick wash is only 4kg, which is a lot less than my previous machine, which took 7 kg on all main cycles, and washed the laundry clean, left it relatively crease-free, and towels only needed a light shake to keep them soft (no conditioner). The rinse cycle is poor, and there are often still suds in the machine when it enters the Spin, despite using less powder. I almost always have to use an additional Rinse and Spin, even after using the Extra Rinse programme. There is no Crease Care cycle, which would be very useful, but there is a Shirt Cycle which I cannot see the need for, as most shirts could be washed in several of the other cycles anyway, and how many people ever have a full load of shirts?
I had hopes for the Eco-cycle when I bought the machine, but it washes at 40-60 degrees, and the machine chooses; the operator has no control over the temperature. Most of my clothing would be ruined by a 60 degree wash, so I can't risk it, therefore this is a useless feature for anything but white cottons and linens. The 1200 spin cycle is very inconsistent - the washing more often comes out as wet as though I had done a 400 spin. The "Buttons" on the touch screen are also inconsistent. The instruction manual does not make it clear whether a mere touch is sufficient, or whether it has to be depressed. It often takes several tries before there is any response whether a touch or more pressure is used, very annoying when you have to scroll through the options (spin speed, temperature, etc). The display does not show which part of the cycle the machine is currently at. It does give you the remaining time, but this changes as you wait, so is not useful. For example, if I am waiting to empty the machine as the display says that there is only 2 minutes left, then in 2 minutes time it says that there are 5 minutes left, so I have wasted 2 minutes of my busy day! I really regret buying this machine and do not recommend it.
Buy extended warranty, you’ll need it
£1000 built in fridge lasted just over two years before it needed a £300 repair and that repair took two weeks. Simply not good enough.
Very expensive induction cooker…
Very expensive induction cooker EX807LVC1E/03 broken after 5 years, this device has a engineeringsfailer in it. Capacitive switches will reduce sensivity over lifetime because the housing of the switch is deforming by influence of radiated heat. Nobody home at siemens, no service at all. Expected life time ratio for this device is 10-15years, internet is full of problems with this type of induction device of siemens.
hopeless, don’t bother with a Siemens
Hopeless, don’t bother with Siemens. Something goes wrong & you’ll be without your appliance for months & everyone on the end of the phone saying ‘we’ll phone back at the end of the week’ *spoiler alert they never phone back* or another personal favourite ‘phone back tomorrow’ they literally don’t care & won’t do anything vaguely helpful.
Customer service agent helped me fix my dishwasher
Moved into a new apartment that had a 5 yrs old Siemens dishwasher installed. It came up with an error after 2 weeks and I called the support in Danish and the customer service agent ran me though the procedure to fix the error and told me how to prevent it in the future.

Siemens Dishwasher stopped.. called BSHG two weeks to get a technician...first call... fitted new part... dishwasher wouldn't work... paid for call and part $380...needed another part.... none available... four weeks delay......would advise when available.....another week....rang BSHG... "Oh we have the part, its been here for three weeks" .......arranged service call one week later,,,,,,, received email...."we won't complete service on machine due to cockroach infestation, it's in our terms and conditions.......complained .... still won't finish repair... read terms and conditions , no such restriction, they just told lies... on top of that some cockroach poo on a protective cove doesn't constitute an infestation....complained to management again, reluctantly agreed to finish the repair..... booked another service call....day of 2nd call "Sorry the tech is sick we can book for next week"....day of 3rd call "Sorry the tech is sick we can book for next week".......day of 4th call......fitted another part machined did not work....needed a rewire cockroaches have eaten through the wiring so the tech said (a load of BS inspected wiring after tech left no broken or eaten wires) .....told tech not to worry.... removed second part ....paid for call $31....first unused part removed....second unused part taken away no charge....contacted BSHG about returning first unused part...."Sorry we don't refund parts that have been fitted". Contacted them again an told them that the part has never been used and is not in the machine. This is a $200 part. Given the short sharp shrift yet again by their service department. So this crowd are the most immoral crowd purporting to be BOSH/SIEMENS service, willing to stuff you around and tell lies all to their own benefit. This has taken 3 months for their incompetence to come to the fore since I first requested a service call.
Would I recommend BSHG Service ....what do you think?
One star is overstating their ability to service their customers. There needs to be a negative context to the star rating system as one star is far too generous.
If I could give ZERO stars I would
If I could give ZERO stars I would. A top end extractor that 9 months old does not extract and gone rusty. I’ve had the engineer out which he agrees in he’s report that it’s not extracting steam from ONE saucepan let alone 4 and is going rusty. Head office replied saying there’s nothing they can do. I will be going to trading standards and update on here. Awful service for a top end appliance.
Siemens Dryer WT46G491GB don’t buy!
Siemens Dryer WT46G491GB.
Had an older model so when it finally broke and had to replace went for the up to date model.
Big mistake. I used to use the cupboard dry function, every item came out perfect. New machine there is nothing dry about the washing on this setting. Called the customer service, they have said unless you have a full load it will sense a dry piece & switch of???? Mental. Even when I have had a full load cupboard dry and cupboard dry plus are what I would describe a pretty damp!
Do not buy!!!! Absolutely gutted I did as now stuck with the machine!
Call centre and service is the WORST
Appliances break really quickly. The repair service is TERRIBLE and really expensive. The call centre is so incredibly incompetent and useless. I will never buy another Siemens appliance again.

Useless after sales
I look on u tube to see if I could change heat settings people show putting milk in microwave to heat first £399 & heat the milk in microwave!!!
…
REPLY From:- Siemens pasted below
We would advise that coffee cups are warmed prior to using, and that milk is removed from the fridge a few minutes before hand, as this then helps in the temperature of the final coffee.

So now I have to wait to make coffee until milk room temperature Then heat mugs in Microwave instead of heating milk in microwave lol
Save yourself the stress and hassle. Don’t deal with this company. Ever!
I would give 0 because that’s the care you get with Siemens! I’ve paid for the goods, no goods arrive. No one cares enough to look into it or cares you haven’t got the goods. It’s absolutely shameful!!
Siemens SN658D00MG don't get one
I wish I had checked out Trustpilot before purchasing my Siemens SN658D00MG_BK dishwasher, as I would probably looked elsewhere. I am sorry to say my experience has also been bad with the product developing a fault after just 3 years and 7 months which will require a new pump, exchanger and PCP at the princely sum of £285 on top of the service call out of £119.00! I paid £629.00 for my dishwasher which is not used more than two or three times a week and would have expected more from such a premium brand. Sadly it does not look like you are buying a quality product when you buy Siemens.
