Silkhaus is extraordinarily bad

Silkhaus is extraordinarily bad. I have never seen anything like it. I paid a premium for a flat that was marketed as luxurious, there was not even one thing luxurious about it. It was on a noisy road, the sofa was ripped, there were dirty pillows, no pillow cases, my stay was supposed to be for a month and they didn’t give me extra bedding I was asked to pay extra for bedding! When I left early, they charged me! 😂😂😂 I am actually shocked, I’ve never experienced anything like it. Oh and all the kitchen appliances are cheap, no teaspoons and very cheap crockery from noon. It’s comically bad how responsive customer service is, just to argue with you instead of help. Do yourself a massive favour and avoid them!

Really bad service

Really bad service. Customer services don't respond. I have been asking for such a simple thing as a hairdryer for 4 days now. Nothing. I paid a considerable amount for this apartment ie a premium price. Just outrageous.

Would never ever use again

Would never ever use again.

We booked an apartment that stated sleeps 3 people. Double bed plus a sofa bed. I triple checked this and confirmed all good. Fast forward to when we arrived, we had to pay any extra 200AED for a “late check in” then when we arrived - there was no bedding for the sofa bed, the apartment felt dirty and felt as though the staff member had been sleeping in there whilst waiting. Our front door didn’t lock which the guy said he would report it and us to report it too. The sofa bed was like rocks, you could not sleep on it. When raising a complaint, they did nothing but argue and instead we ended up going round in circles for a few days. Then they agreed we could have a quilt if we paid extra, a mattress topper etc. again there were lies about arrival times of these. Constantly wanting to send videos of issues like us doing the front door. Just send someone out. Will NEVER book again, and will never recommend.

Not up to quality standards promised

Quite disappointing experience - the flat was not cleaned properly and there is no 24/7 support as promised. There were appliances missing and cutlery and crockery were not fully stacked. The WhatsApp response is disappointing with more than 15 hours to get an answer to queries that do not solve the issues, and what’s more they are verging on the rude. The access card to the building was faulty and was not replaced in the 13 days of my stay. There were building works with sever noise preventing the use of the flat for more than 9 hours a day and suitable alternative accommodations was not offered following delays and misinformation that required me to waste time and energy trying to sort this out. A small refund for leaving early was the option offered that would not have covered last minute plans for the same location even to the remotest. I raised all these concerns repeatedly on the WhatsApp chat that was the only available option for reaching Silkhaus staff, since even if there was a number I called once then ok subsequent days my calls to two Silkhaus numbers were dropped at the first ring.

Easy, fast, precise

The entire process of booking and management of the stay was easy and hassle-free.
I had to modify the dates of the stay, and the assistance was fast and precise. My check in was a self check-in, I received the email with all the details 24h before my arrival and I can say it was easy and fast getting through the security.
The house was fresh, clean and they left a nice welcome box with very much needed basic stuff.
