I would just advise everyone reading that many of the preceeding positive Similar Worlds reviews were bought and paid for by Administration by offering free VIP to those who write a positive review on Trust Pilot. In other words...BRIBERY.
They have already deleted "Trust Pilot" from the post, and once reading this review I'm sure they will scrub the entire post, but I have the link and screen shots.

I'm nearing the end of my free VIP, so as a gesture of thanks to Andrew/Nuno it's review time. I have not always been the best user of SW & for sometime they gave me a holiday for disregarding the TOS & that it's there to protect not just SW Team Admin but other users also. You will not find a place like SW where the admin will listen to your b.itch or have any interest in your tech problems on SW. IF you follow the rules, understand the TOS & don't be an ass,,,,, There is NO better place to find online friends.
It has it's problems with a few small group of users BUT the SW Team keeps an eye on them.

Treat others as you would want to be treat & ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, You'll love the place.

SW has been a great site to meet people and get to know them on a personal level.

The site has several forums and offers plenty of conversations with like minded people.

Some people just make the world a better place. SW is my safe place.
Staff are responsive and care.

I’ve been on SW for a long time and there’s no way I would ever leave SW. This site is literally my second home. I am so grateful that Nuno and Andrew and who else was involved created this website for us because they saved a bunch of people. I mean, I could not imagine my life without it just being able to get my thoughts out and being able to share stuff and relate to other people. It’s so much better than Facebook.

In today's world we do not have many places where we can be social and still preserve some of our anonymity. On Similar Worlds you can. You can interact, discuss things, be silly, nsfw or look on our image feed, post content, or read and reply to others. Whatever your flavor is, if you know it, there's a place for you and you might even find things out about yourself you didn't know.

I've been there for about 7 years and I love it. I've made some friends there that I hope I'll have the rest of my life.

I love everything about SW. The only thing I wish is that more people would discover this gem of a website. If you can't find a category for what you want to talk about, you can make one. The people there are fun and quirky, and the topics are equally unique. Give it a shot.

I love that it's a place where I can freely express my heart. Also I have made some meaningful relationships with extraordinary people! I can't live without SimilarWorlds it's like breathing to me to share my life with others!

SW grew from strength to strength. Being a member from first week of its existence I knew how the platform matured day by day. The design team and database team worked really wonderful to bring every possible feature, that would make the user experience better. We gets regular update from Admins about the recently added features and they took feedback very seriously. I still remember how the posts, stories and forums got evolved. The photo gallery inclusion, instant messaging all got added one by one as promised. It had initially gave a opportunity to carry forward all our EP posts, messages and images to import that was very good move. Now it has very stable platform with many users and catering every possible needs.

I've been on Similar worlds for nearly a decade. It's a good place to share your opinions, post about what's going on in your life, Read about what is going on in other people's lives, and find relatability with people you never thought you would relate with.

The Best experience I ever had of any social website. Facebook insta have never been my cup of tea. Similarworlds is global and it acts like a global village in a true sense. People are participatory. Here you get to know them from with in whosoever they are.

A place where you can be you, a place where people support you no matter what you do and who you are in real life.

You can be anything here and you get support of so many lovely users. It's always active day and night and you can come and chat with people, laugh on meme.

I love Similar Worlds. I've been on this platform for 10 years now. It's a great place to share, vent, comment and engage and it's the community can be very supportive. There are some great and fun people there. I've made several good friends there and it's nothing like other big platforms, like Reddit for example.
Here people actually engage with you from day one.

SimilarWorlds has been one of the great social media experiences that I have had because it provides a place and the space to express yourself in the context of what you are feeling, thinking, or wanting to share with others. I have been a member for many years, since its inception in fact, and enjoy my time there. As with any social media experience, it can become a "time magnet" that takes control of your time, but there are many categories of topics, a wide range of members from around the world to keep you engaged. The site is moderated, but not in an overly intrusive or obnoxious way.

It's a platform that provides a family atmosphere, where the right amount of moderation meets safe communications. Has the potential to grow into a supporting community.

A place where diverse people from all over the world share stories, personal anecdotes and even music. There are buttons to click to share your approval or disapproval of posts people make. You can interact on posts or write your own posts.

There is a diverse amount of topics to be discussed including politics, sports, pop culture and even far out stuff. It involves the building of friendships and sharing of different forums. There are virtual gifts one can send other SW members.

Being respectful of others is enforced by the moderators. It’s a fun place and you can get out of it what you put into it. It’s a pleasant and more intimate site and it is something people of all backgrounds can enjoy, especially those who find the bigger sites like Facebook not to their liking.

Similar worlds is not like any usual mainstream platform out there. It’s truly a unique small corner of the internet. It’s immersive, responsive, and just has a lot to offer. It has a way of pulling you in, even years later.

The admin are always helpful, and actually respond to questions, or issues you may come across.

It has been a part of my life for the past decade. I have met amazing people on there, shared laughs, and been supported through some hard times. I can’t imagine my life without it. Once you join, you aren’t leaving it, no matter how hard you try. (:

I found SW by accident and I have never been happier in the 10 year I've been part of this community. You know that lyric from the Cheers theme song "where everybody knows your name", yeah well in a sea of anonymous user names, there is a community that realises if you've been gone too long and worry about you. You create genuine friendships without never having once walked into their homes. That's about the community.

Now about the mods, some of the best most proactive mods of any social media site on the internet. It's true of 10 years ago when I joined and it's true in 2026.

Predators of which every sight is plagued by, are handled in a timely manner and with real law enforcement liasing. Trolls and catfishes don't get to bother you. If they're blocked, every alt account is gone with em. In terms of site development, the mods never rest on their laurels(of which they deserve more) constant improvement. Some miss, but never static.

The mods too are responsive and will and do interact. They're good bunch.

SW is the ONLY social media site I regularly use.
