Originally I made a call to a financial company to apply for a loan for debt consolidation. After being denied approval, I was transferred to Simple Debt, and spoke with Alen Baits, who informed me of an alternative solution to help me with my financial situation. Because I’ve never been in this kind of debt, I asked him if I could have a little time to think about using the program he offered. He was so patient and cool with me, while I was trying to think of ways I could get out of this mess on my own. After explaining to me all the options I had, and honestly going through what each option would unfold, I finally realized that he actually had my best interest in mind, and went with the program he offered me. I told him I wouldn’t want to do it if I had to restart or even continue the process with someone else, and he made sure that I was able to stay connected with him all the way through. And after starting the program, I’m still able to communicate with him via text, if I have any questions or issues, which makes me feel good knowing he’s got my back. As I said, I’m new to the program but I’m already feeling much better about my finances and the future of my credit.

Patrick took the time to explain the process and made sure I understood what was going to happen. He didn’t rush me into anything. He took time to explain everything when I hesitated on something. Spoke clearly and calmly so I didn’t feel overwhelmed.

The company had obviously saved my name and number from a prior call because the person that answered the phone called me by my full name, told me what University I went to and how much my student loan debt was all without asking me for the information. Additionally, the salesperson was highly aggressive and avoiding direct questions. He said he could wipe away my debt 100% with a small fee. Please, do they think we are all stupid? I am reporting them for accessing my personal data without consent.
