I tried a few of the free Life in UK apps - they plunge straight into questions without providing any content to study beforehand. So effectively one would need to plough through tomes before attempting any questions. I panicked! I had 4 weeks to submission of documents....i was never going to manage that. Sleepless nights....
Someone mentioned the Simpleexam
prep app - for a nominal fee this app takes you by the hand and guides you step by step through all the relevant stages of UK history. Section by section the content is provided in brief succinct passages. Having read each passage you are then quizzed. Any mistakes and those questions keep coming up repeatedly as you work through the sections until they are ingrained. I was getting 90 - 100% on practises.
I studied 30 mins a day for 18 days.
I wrote the test in 5 mins and cracked it!
Simpleexamprep: couldnt be easier.
I cannot recommend it highly enough!
