Excellent service - 100% satisfaction - perfect repair to a prized pair of sunglasses

Have just received my new spectacles and they are fantastic! George spent an hour fitting the frames to my face and taking an accurate assessment of my pupil distance and position. Do not underestimate this process as it is essential to the ultimate comfort and performance of your spectacles. He then made up the frames with the new lenses to a superb level of accuracy. You will need to supply George with an accurate current prescription. I used Boots at Eltham.

George at Simplespex is our first thought whenever we have damaged glasses or sunglasses. The service you receive is amazing, fast, friendly and efficient, and above all, the prices are so very reasonable, its hard to imagine any reason to go elsewhere. It is also worth mentioning, that we have had several very minor repair work made to frames in the past (minor to George, major for us!), and although we were charged such a modest amount, the packaging and condition of the glasses on return was just amazing. Can't recommend this company enough.

The company is incredibly helpful and the finished product is just perfect.

My silhouette glasses had a separated arm, twisted titanium frame and odd shaped nose pads. My Optician wouldn't repair, others likewise. Found Simplespex on line and wasn't sure. Found exactly the right package to chose, had email back confirming (sent some photos) sent via sign for royal Mail. 3 days later i received all back in one piece in great condition. Kept informed (repair done in one day). Great service, fast and fairly priced. Normally I don't write reviews but this firm needs to know how good they are.

This day & age, People & Businesses are becoming less honest & trustworthy. I have to say that I am extremely pleased and gratified by the service of Simplespex. I was anxious & concerned before I even went ahead with sending my glasses to them for repair. I went with the £40 Silver package plus £7.50 for them to return my glasses by Special Delivery. I had to pay £7.65 to send my glasses to them on Monday and by the Friday I had my glasses back. I have to Thank them, truly, for what a great job & the care taken in packaging & also returning of the old parts that they replaced.
Although I wont be needing the old parts, I recognised them & I feel very reassured that Yes the parts were replaced as I requested.
The solder repair to the snapped off joint looked impeccable, I cannot see any sign/sight of the solder or burnt area at point of solder, it's a crisp clean job well done. Its wonderful to have a great job done, smooth service and with honesty and integrity. Thank You Simplespex :oD

My glasses were damaged when I got hit in the head by a tall train ticket barrier panel. Both my usual optician and the manufacturer concluded that the frames were irreparable. The Simple Spex website helped me to figure out what repair was needed (a new sunken/hidden hinge) and so I thought I would give them a go. I'm delighted with the result, speed of service, and competitive pricing.

Required a broken hinge repaired on my specs. Posted by recorded delivery on late Thursday afternoon. Email on Saturday to say that the repair was complete, and they were being sent back to me. Arrived Monday morning. So good I decided to go out of my way and write a review. Brilliant service and to be commended.

Price was no brainer, great value for money getting a pair of frames repaired so cost effectively was very important.
Communication and email responsiveness was great, I asked a question and had a response with a day.
Finally quality/speed, I sent 3 frames off for repair and had them back in under a week! Saved me over £500 in new frames.

reglazed my glasses with Tokai lenses. Customer servise is very quick-responding and helpful. Shipment is quick as well.

Excellent speedy service. Damaged my titanium frame specs again, having previously been repaired by Simplspex. Sent on 13 December, received quick email response explaining work to be done. Glasses returned 22 December in first class order despite Christmas postage problems. Many thanks. Strongly recommended.

Fixed my Armani glasses (nose pad arm had broken off) which I thought couldn’t be fixed and was going to spend hundreds in getting a new pair but to my amazement they fixed them and they look as good as new now. Excellent service and friendly staff.

Exceptional. Every question I had was answered by George, promptly and thoroughly, in helpful detail, as if I was visiting the shop in person. The brand I wanted has poor distribution in Canada (and not much better in the US) so it was a relief to get authoritative responses from across the pond (UK). I recently broke the hinge off my Moschino sunglasses as I dropped them and then trod on them. I thought they were for the bin. After a search on google, I found Simplespex & George who can pretty much repair anything. The hinge was broken and had to be replaced or soldered but not an easy task as the hinges are flush. After a couple of optician visits who advised new glasses I didn't know whether this could be done. Well George really fixed them and they look fantastic. The website is really easy to use, great simple instructions and amazingly quick turnaround at fantastic prices - I cannot recommend George enough :-) Thank you so much

I broke my Dita's Mach 4 sunglasses and they cost absolute fortune. I Found George online and he reassured me he could repair them, so I sent it off to him. Received them back and they were as good as new. An absolute excellent service from start to finish. I couldn't recommend enough.

Couldn’t recommend this company more! I had put a pair of old Chanel sunglasses in my pocket and managed to snap the frame making the lens fall out, contacted a few other companies who told me they were unrepairable so I tried these as my last resort. George got back to me so fast offering me advice and what could be done depending on the material of the frame and I have got them back within in a week fixed! Great prices and great services thanks for fixing my sunglasses I would’ve otherwise had to have chucked them!

Had a pair of Gucci sunglasses bought as a birthday present from my wife. After the bridge pads broke and a small scratch on one of the lenses I took them to two opticians. One quoted £180 for one lense and then said it couldn’t bee done and neither wanted to fix the bridge. Found Simplespex on Facebook and George repaired the bridge and offered to replace both lenses £85. Now extremely glad I didn’t bin these sunglasses.

I have never experienced such an amazing customer service. When I sent an enquiry, George replied straight away, answered all of my questions regarding lenses and reglaze in detail and helped me to choose the best option for me. You could tell that he knows what he is talking about. I trusted him and when the glasses came I knew it was the right decision - I was more than happy with how the lenses were fitted in the frames and the quality - just amazing. I cannot recommend Simplespex enough, I will be coming back for sure and will recommend them to everyone.
