Awful experience. They make you sign a 6 month contract for a reason. The onboarding (AKA upsell call) was really discouraging. They sold me on a bunch of promises that they couldn't deliver (make sure to read the contract). I was looking for an actual partner who would assist me in building my personal brand. They're nothing more than a video editing service. They give you a list of videos/posts that worked for other creators in your niche and you're just expected to copy them and say what they're saying in a different way.

They hire cheap video editors from the Philippines and India that you can hire yourself for a fraction of the cost (you can see their entire team on Linkedin).

Wish I didn't have to give a negative review but the cost is nowhere near the service they provide.

The team is nice but the guy running it, Akash Rupareliaa is nothing more than a salesman. He doesn't actually care about your outcome. He just cares that you sign a crazy expensive 6 month contract, so it doesn't even matter if the service is good or you continue using them after your contract is up (which I doubt anyone does).

I applied for a job via LinkedIn. I received the following message in my inbox:
"Thank you for taking the time to complete the SimplexMedia application for the Course Assistant.
We are pleased to say that we would like to consider you! 🔥

Please complete this 4 min interview (interview link)

This is an urgent hire:

- please complete within 24 hours to be considered
- make sure you look presentable!
- ensure that your camera and microphone are working prior to recording
- bring HIGH energy 🔥

It's supppperr quick and easy so don't overthink it 😉 I look forward to meeting you!

The link took me to a page with an "apply now" button, and from there, it was the same process as when I initially applied. I went back and responded to the inbox message (within 15 minutes of receiving it), asking if this was a genuine interview link to narrow down successful candidates or simply the next step in the application process. It has been nearly 2 weeks, and still no reply. I reached out to the company directly, asking them to remove my application and personal information from their records, and no feedback.

They frame it as job applications and interviews, when they are really just collecting for their talent pool. And they frame it as being urgent, yet don't respond to messages. It is a waste of applicant time, and I'd say an unethical way of building a team.

Big shoutout to SimplexMedia! They gave us a tailored strategy for our reels, and we went from 0 to 70,000 followers on TikTok and 170,000 on Instagram. This kind of growth just wouldn’t have happened without them. If you’re serious about growing your social presence, I’d definitely recommend working with SimplexMedia.

The CEO has a massive ego. I was a client of Simplex for 6 months which was the minimum contract they offered. Every single time I had a call scheduled with Kash their CEO he would show up 10 minutes late with no apology.

He had no respect for my time and thought the world revolved around him.

They're not interested in you succeeding. They're only interested in having you renew your contract with them and give them a testimonial which is why you'll see them constantly asking for a testimonial the moment you sign.

The "Social Media Experts" that Kash employs are young girls who've just graduated high school or university and have little to no experience with social media strategy. They have a simple formula where they identify your niche and then ask you to copy other people's content that went viral... that's their entire strategy...

I had high expectations when I signed on. They were not met and I left feeling scammed and disrespected due to Kash's ego and attitude.

Don't waste your money.

Scam! They chased me to arrange a meeting and reminded me of it but then no one bothered to turn up. Found them through UpWork....really bad

Bad experience. Only worked with them for a little over a month and then cancelled. They assign you a “social media strategist” but they know nothing about social media growth and have no past experience. They’re simply a customer support rep. They sell you on the idea that you get social media strategy calls but it’s just a check in call to see how you’re doing and to make sure you’ll renew.

When you ask about strategy or advice they don’t have any meaningful feedback to provide.

The entire strategy is based on fame jacking (copy other people). My advice is if you want to actually learn how to grow on social media and build a reputable brand, Simplex is not your answer.
