The Manhasset Tall music stand was…
The Manhasset Tall music stand was tall, ergonomic enough for my 177cm height. It adjusts very easily height wise just by pushing the stand down, no need to twist any knobs.
It was painful to install, requiring me to already own a wrench. It was a DIY project that didn't come up with any tools included. The manual was too simple and difficult to understand with only a few pictures to read. The stand itself is quite shaky despite me screwing the bolt on as tight as I could. The angle of the stand can't be fixed and moves very easily when putting any force on any metronome or tuner sitting on the stand. There have been many times that objects could have fallen down due to the unstable nature of the stand.
The stand is quite minimalistic and aesthetically, it looks very clean and professional. It is still worlds better than putting a shorter music stand on a table. It is also relatively lightweight which means I could easily move it around and shift positions without a hassle. I like its black color and it looks high quality.
Edit: I just screwed the bolt using the wrench on the wrong side. After I put my wrench on the opposite side which had a screw, I could twist it tight. The stand can actually be fixed now. No need to worry about tuners or metronomes falling off the stand. I still stand by the original opinion that the manual wasn't easy enough to follow.
