If I had one suggestion, I would add some better construction instructions as it took some working out to put it together.

Everyone in the family loves the hammock. It does seem to hang quite low though - luckily not too low. The chain at each end is at its shortest length and I only just miss the frame when I am in the hammock. I weigh 90kg - maybe my technique is wrong!
One of the D lock rings that joins the metal chain into a loop (to hold the hammock) was too small for the chain. Couldn't fit the chain through the D lock ring opening. Had to come up with a solution rather than complain because the hammock was for a 'next day' present. 10 mins with a vice and hacksaw sorted the problem. Presumably this was just a packing error because the other D ring lock was fine..... We still love the hammock though.

Both the hammock and the hanging chair are great, we love them!

This updated review is a result of the efforts made by Simply Hammocks to correct the mistakes made, not by them but by their delivery company. Simple Hammocks followed up with a service that every company should give. They put the customer first and turned a disgruntled customer into a very happy customer. It is only when things go wrong can a company be truly judged. Simply Hammocks came through with flying colours. I have no hesitation in restoring them to a full five stars and will make the specific mention of Greg who made me feel like a wanted customer. I am very happy to recommended them.

The item was delivered, on a Tuesday when it was arranged for Wednesday, when it arrived the package was damaged, quite badly although we could find no damage on the item.

Simply Hammocks are a good company with a great choice of products at reasonable prices. This is not my first purchase from them. Normally, I would be happy to give five stars. However, their choice of delivery companies is a failing. It took hours for Simply Hammocks to have their product in the hands of their delivery company and a further seven days for it to reach me. Once their delivery options have been changed or manifestly improved they will surely rate five star once again.
