Thank God I dont need the help of…

Thank God I dont need the help of solicitors very often I thought they were supposed to be educated people. I requested a call back and they state it will be from a 0161 0151 number this morning 0117 rang it was them oh yeah were sorting that out i explained that my Dad had had a personal injury splitting his head open hurting his ribs and back obviously requiring hospital treatment. The girl said there is a 4 week time frame no idea what she was on about 3 years to claim did she mean they were busy for 4 weeks NO apparently their policy is you have to wait 4 weeks in order to say you are still suffering. I wont tell you how to do your job but you have got to be the most unprofessional incompetent clueless and ill informed solicitors I have ever dealt with are you inploying that splitting your head open heals in a week or that it is not painfull and you have to wait 4 weeks to ascertain that. Ridiculous it is infuriating that all these professionals ? do is gather all my personal info and keep it for 6 years surely this is unacceptable I will eventually find one that is actually licenced and qualified to deal with such claims

Based on the information provided at that time, our team explained that it can sometimes be appropriate to allow a short period for injuries to develop or for any ongoing symptoms to become clearer before a claim can be properly assessed. This helps ensure that we have an accurate understanding of the injury and any medical evidence before advising whether a claim is likely to be viable.

This advice is not intended to minimise the seriousness of an incident, but to ensure that people are not put through the claims process unnecessarily if symptoms resolve quickly or if further medical information is needed first.

We are sorry if this explanation was not communicated as clearly as it should have been during the call. If your father’s symptoms persist, worsen, or he receives further medical assessment, you are welcome to contact us again so we can review the situation based on the updated information.

Success!

In March 2025, I was seriously injured when a car knocked me off my bike. The aftermath was a difficult time, and after some research carried out by my partner, we made the decision to pursue a personal injury claim. We chose to instruct the Simpson Millar law firm to represent us in this matter.
Jason was assigned as my solicitor to manage the case. From the very beginning, he was approachable, reassuring, and consistently professional. He took the time to explain the claims process in detail, including the associated costs and the steps he intended to take on my behalf. To support my recovery and the progression of the claim, Jason arranged for me to attend several appointments with medical professionals and brought HCML on board to oversee my rehabilitation journey.
Throughout the process, Jason maintained regular contact, ensuring I was always kept informed about the progress of my case. Thanks to his expertise, dedication, and hard work, we were able to achieve a successful resolution to my claim in a relatively short period of time.
While I would have preferred never to have experienced the accident in the first place, I am genuinely grateful to have chosen Simpson Millar. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone finding themselves in a similar situation.

Communications are very poor

This had a title of happy customer. I'm not at all happy with them. I would not recommend using this firm.
Communications are very poor. No one could answer questions, I've been on hold for hours on phone. Had to phone multiple times, and still no answers. I've been promised responses within a couple of hours, but days later received nothing.
All I want is release of original Will. I've asked them for weeks, and still no further forward.

Terrible experience

After nearly four years - Success!

After nearly four years, we finally had our day in court against an airline that left us stranded and forced us to buy alternative flights just to reach our destination. What should have been my daughter’s 21st birthday surprise was completely ruined.

Throughout this long and frustrating process, my insurers at Simpson Millar were absolutely brilliant. From start to finish, Ian Bridge and the entire Simpson Millar team kept in constant contact, providing regular updates and making sure we were fully informed at every stage. Their perseverance and dedication never wavered, and it was clear they were determined to achieve the right and fair outcome for us.

Holiday accident claim

Simpson Millar Team cared when no one else did

What can i say, Paul Stevens and the Simpson Millar team were absolutely fantastic in dealing with our case.

In 2022 Paul and his team took our case on and they have been fighting our cause ever since.

Paul keeps you updated with what has been going on and also what the best course of action to take, but they make it clear that the decision will be ours.

I cannot recommend Paul Stevens and the Simpson Millar team enough, they listened and cared when no one else did.

Any opportunity I get i will always recommend them.
