There is something fishy about this…

There is something fishy about this company.
I ordered a sink which was in stock and next day delivery. Got the confirmation in the email of the order. After waiting for 10 days and not getting it, called them up. Their customer service checked my order and said it was shipped by DHL. Then said, it was not scanned by DHL whatever it meant. She said she is going to refund me. When I told her that I need a sink not the refund she said they dont have it (I checked their website and it was still showing in stock). She also said that they send me a confirmation of shipping via email and it is in my spam box, which I checked and it wasnt true. I think the worst part was when while I we were talking, she just said ok thank you and hung up. The worst online shopping experience. The rudest customer service.

If there was a zero star I would give it

If there was a zero star, I would give it. I bought a tap from sinks.co.uk which was nearly 750 pounds. Having installed it, my plumber discovered it was faulty. Even though this was within 2 days of receiving the item, sinks.co.uk refused to help and directed me to the supplier. Disgraceful customer service

Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE.

Sinks have absolutely appalling customer service. They have a wide range of items, but a lot are broken or damaged on arrival, and Sinks will find any excuse not to exchange them.

I did try to exchange a £400 waste disposal unit that had not left its box and they refused. I am starting to think that they are a scam.

The one positive review below is someone happy that they replaced their broken tap. Isn't it the absolute bare minimum? And then compare it to the huge amount of truly horrific experiences... I wish I had read those. Never again.

My advice: go somewhere else. Anywhere will be better and will treat you better than Sinks. They truly deserve a 0.

Avoid and take your business elsewhere

Avoid and take your business elsewhere! Wouldn't accept an exchange despite still selling the product and me offering to pay return shipping costs. Absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense at all. Never had an issue with any other supplier and I've been carrying out an entire house renovation! Wish id read these reviews. Only care about ££ and not the customer.

If only I had read reviews before I ordered

If only I had read reviews before I ordered. I ordered an item that said it was 'In Stock' for next day delivery. The day I was due to have it delivered I chased them as did not have a confirmation of dispatch. I was then emailed back (within a few hours to be fair) to say that it was out of stock with the supplier for another 3 weeks. When I asked for an explanation as to why it was showing as 'in stock' when it clearly wasn't I did not get a reply. I have also not had a reply about the timescale for a refund. Awful company.

I ordered a Franke sink

I ordered a Franke sink and it arrived in approx 10 days but was damaged. Contacted Sinks.co.uk and the unit was collected and a new unit arrived in 7 days. So unlike the many below I'm happy with the service I received.

I wish I had looked at these reviews…

I wish I had looked at these reviews before I had bought a sink! The £300 sink was damaged on delivery, they refused to believe it was damaged and then charged £46 to take it back - this is one online retailed to avoid like the plague!!!

AVOID!!

AVOID!!! Returned a tap. They said they hadn't received it but instead received a food mixer. I had name of recipient and signature but was told to contact post office as there was nothing more they could do. Refused to refund even though I had an Email from them saying they had received Tap. They use a third party to send out their deliveries and weren't interested when things went wrong. Took a lot of Emails and calls and the threat of Legal action to get my money back. Absolutely no Customer service at all. No Apologies. Avoid as there are much better Companies available. Read the other reviews here first as I wished I had!!

The worst customer service ever

I bought a kitchen sink for over £650, I arrived after more than two weeks and when I unpacked it there was significant damage to the box. Sure enough when the box was opened the sink was damaged in various places around the rim. I contacted customer services and they eventually came back to me after a couple of days requesting photos. I sent these to a very dry young lady called Rosie and then hear nothing. I chased and Rosie said she had not received them so I sent them again and again and yet again! Finally Rosie said she had them and would forward to the manufacturer who in turn came back yet more days later inferring that if I would build the worktop over the rim of the sink then it wouldn’t be visible! I insisted they replace the sink and then heard nothing back again for days. I chased then had an email from a Holly who said a new sink would be sent directly from the manufacturer, at last I thought! Only the next day I had another email this time from Rosie again who said the email the previous day should be ignored as Holly was a trainee and the supplier said I should build the sink under the worktop! Incredible! I replied that this was not acceptable. 7 days went by with my sending more chasing emails and then I have a reply but this time from Agie who says they will arrange collection. Nothing happened so I chase and was told that DHL would contact me on the 16th and collect on the 17th but the 17th comes and goes and nothing so I email again and now have a reply from Imogen who says it will be collected on the 18th and still no collection. It is now the 20th and I have sent another 3 emails without a reply and the sink is still boxed waiting to be collected. This company is frankly the worst, all they are interested in is talk your money. If there is a problem as obviously happens from time to time they will just give you the run around and mess you about. I recommend you don’t take the chance. BE WARNED

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
I live in Northern Ireland and to my knowledge we are still part of the UK, unless Boris has done some deal that I am unaware of, though likely.
I ordered a lovely ceramic sink from these clowns and was told that I would have to pay an extra £100 for delivery to 'Ireland! , I live in N. Ireland' I tried to explain the constitutional background that we were still part of the sovereignty and that I could ship a pallet weighing one metric tonne the other way for £40, 'no Sir that will be £100.
I duly paid through Sage and 3 weeks later nothing arrived, I chased my order and was then informed, 'sorry this seems to have not been picked up by our system, it is now on the system'.
Lovely, oh, they have now informed me that it cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland after all!
The circus has come to town!

Awful company- very rude and unhelpful…

Awful company- very rude and unhelpful customer service. Ordered a sink and cancelled hours later... they send the sink a couple of days later regardless and leave it at my house when I’m out. They believe this is me ‘accepting’ the item and want to charge me £50 to take it away again. Would NEVER buy from them again.

Avoid sinks.co.uk!

Ordered a sink and tap. Both on stock at purchase . No delivery details sent to me. I called them 3 days later to get an update as the delivery estimate was 3/5 days. The sales consultant advised me the tap was going to be delivered the same day ( no confirmation ) and the sink was out of stock for another month. Cancelled the order and they would only proceed with the refund of the sink and waiting for tap to be returned to the warehouse. I checked on the website and the sink is still in stock . Shame on you !

Don’t trust delivery times & much cheaper elsewhere previously and…

I have used this company previously and had good delivery and products but they have obviously not coped with current situation. I used them because I wanted next day delivery, although I found the sink over £70 cheaper elsewhere. I ordered before the 12.00 deadline. I rang on the second day when delivery hadn’t now happened and was firstly tried to be fobbed off with saying it was an 11.00 cut-off (I ordered 11.20), then told it was my fault as I should have called to check they really were in stock! Really poor customer service - I was then told I’d receive a tracking email, which I didn’t. The goods didn’t finally arrive 2 days late - an expensive mistake using them.

I have purchased sink and waste…

I have purchased sink and waste disposal unit from this company as the items were in stock and with next day delivery. Then I have looked at the reviews and got really worried. However next day everything turned up and items were as described. I am happy with the purchase and the way the company dealt with my order.

Appalling ethics

Appalling ethics. I was invited to buy some bar stools on their website - no mention that they weren't in stock. The website says they would be shipped the next day after the 12 noon deadline. They took my £479.95 immediately but no confirmation email was received. No stools arrived after 4 days so I called. Was advised that the items weren't in stock and I'd have to wait 4 months! I demanded a refund and asked why they take a customers money knowing they don't have the stock. "I can't comment as we don't handle the website and our department don't handle these matters". "Well can you please put me through to someone who is responsible?". "No, I'm afraid not, customer services can't do anything about this, all I can say is that I've processed your refund and you could email customer services". "But you said customer services aren't responsible for this". "Yes"
Avoid this company, they are a disgrace.
