PNC was paid then got a FINAL REMINDER for double the original amount so £125. I wrote to SIP to tell them I'd paid they said that was for a different PNC. Confused I asked them to provide details of... See more

This is a scam company
This is a scam company. I received a PCN for "blocking another car" whilst I was parked at the allocated electric car charging space and clearly not blocking anyone. There is no ability to appeal as the phoneline, website and email send the customer in a circular goosechase. I can see why they only have 1 star ratings. Absolute scam! Will be contacting b.ev car charging company regarding this.
Scammers
Have been parking in the same car park major st Manchester with no issue for 6 months! Paid as usual however it turns out that they changed the rules and I didn’t notice, they now want £25 a day if you have a van that takes up the same amount of space as a Range Rover! It’s a scam! I paid as normal but they changed the signs, so ended up with a ticket,
The car park is ludicrously tight and not maintained,
SCAMMERS
Awful
Awful. As a staff member at an NHS hospital I am having difficulty in them collecting the car parking fees despite giving them the details of car, permit and card . I have received a warning letter threatening as fine if I park in the staff car park again.
I am calling (again) as I was put on hold for over an hour last time on a loop. Had to give up in the end. The emails they have sent and their replies have so far failed to solve the problem. I am on a 12 hour shift tomorrow....
I paid for parking on Dutton Street
I paid for parking on Dutton Street, Manchester using the SIP app.
I got a confirmation and thought nothing more of it. When I returned to my vehicle i found a ticket on my windscreen. It stated that "insufficient fee paid" I had paid £4.00 for 12 hours, checked with my bank, the money had been taken by SIP. I appealed, showing the evidence of payment, I got a reply stating appeal unsuccessful, the reason being . Your vehicle was parked in a manner other than in accordance with the signage situated at the car park.
The ticket stated " Insufficient fee paid, the appeal failed and they stated parked in a manner other than in accordance with the signage. What a scam. I tried to appeal using the IPC , its a complete waste of time. No help whatsoever. My advice go no where near SIP parking sites.
Shameful way to run a company
Unfortunately it’s impossible to give zero stars as this company doesn’t deserve one. Absolutely no way of speaking to anyone to solve a simple problem that is now leading to multiple demands for more payments despite payments being made and payment reference numbers given. Appeals process totally dismissive. An extremely shameful way of running a company. My only option is to try and contact SIP employees via Linkedin until I get a response
unclear and ambiguous signage
unclear and ambiguous signage
totally unjustified cost
I wont go back to restaurant we visited which is a shame as the food and service were excellent
I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. SIP Car Parks is easily the worst parking management company I have ever dealt with.
I recently received a "Final Notice" for a PCN, despite never receiving the initial letter. This is a blatant attempt to bypass the appeals process and strong-arm people into paying increased fines.
To make matters worse, they are claiming I didn't pay for my stay, yet my bank statement clearly shows the payment went through on that date. Their systems are i i i clearly unfit for purpose if they cannot match a payment to a registration number.
Trying to resolve this is a nightmare as they make it impossible to appeal once they’ve moved it to the "final" stage. Avoid their car parks at all costs unless you want to spend your time fighting baseless fines for payments you’ve already made.
absolute inflexible scum
Refused to listen to reasonable explanation of why they thought my nephew (whilst driving my car) hadn't paid for parking correctly. I have ended up with a court claim against me which i am just going to pay to get rid of the hassle. Robbing bar stewards
Terrible car parks and will be avoiding…
Terrible car parks and will be avoiding wherever I come across one. In MCR - Spaces (if you can call them that) are ridiculous, especially those under the archways, and which are difficult to manoeuvre out of even in a normal sized car. Any time lapsed (I’m talking a minute out of your 5-minute grace period from the parking running out) they will fine you and reject any appeals. Took me 6 minutes from parking to paying at the machine, and same again leaving in a tight parallel spot, on a very busy day with other vehicles waiting to manoeuvre around, and received a fine with appeal rejected. Greedy company using whatever land they can get their hands on to make money regardless of functionality, and then taking advantage of its poor layout to fleece you.
Avoid, Fraudsters
Received parking fine when sign clearly stated its free from 6pm, fines was issued at 6:38pm, made a apeal and was rejected, absolute joke of the company
Disgusting company parked at bowers in…
Disgusting company parked at bowers in Manchester at vampire diaries evening after party in pouring rain pitch black trying to park with a car transporting a disabled passenger and getting a mobility scooter out did not see any signs saying £10 parking charge for certain events even staff. Had no idea I received £100 fine I appealed they showed no compassion what so ever just replied you failed to pay on the day and upheld the charge they are disgraceful money grabbing company puts us off rebooking for next year now please beware of this company it should let us give 0 stars
Absolute Criminals
Absolute Criminals. I struggled to extend my time at Ligwy beach on Anglesey at a PayStation that would not process the payment.
These criminals then tried to extort a huge amount of money whilst providing false evidence from a different car park about half a mile away that I have never been to.
Fight them and they will back down. Report them to the Welsh tourist board ( in my case )
They will threaten you. But to accept over £100 fine for a £2 fee is absolutely criminal.
Absolutely appalling experience.
Absolutely appalling experience.
We made FOUR separate attempts to pay for parking — first via PayByPhone (which failed), then three times at the on-site machine using two different debit cards. Every attempt failed due to their system error. We even took a photo of the machine clearly displaying “Server Not Responding.”
Despite this, SIP issued a £100 charge and rejected our appeal with a generic response claiming we should have left within 10 minutes if payment couldn’t be completed.
So let me get this straight — if THEIR machine and payment system fail, the customer is expected to immediately leave or face a £100 penalty?
There was no refusal to pay. No attempt to avoid payment. We actively tried multiple times. The issue was entirely on their side.
Their response completely ignored the evidence of machine malfunction and relied on template wording about “consideration periods.” There was no proper investigation and no accountability for their equipment failure.
This feels less about fair parking management and more about issuing penalties regardless of circumstances.
Extremely disappointing service and zero common sense.
Avoid at all costs.
i wouldnt even give 1 star
i wouldnt even give 1 star, this is not the first time ive issues with this company,
i have a long wheel based sprinter van, costs me more to park which i understand
upper hunback street Hanley ( car park has rubble, bricks and litter, in the evening its not lit up either, so not good for security as you have to use your phone to see where your going
i would use other car parks but barriers on the height restrictions or the other sites run by this terrible company.
ive been parking on the car park for 40 days approx up to xmas working in the shopping centre
today i have a fine from 19th Novemebr 2025 which apparently went to my old address, so on the PCN it states the fine and because its over a period of time it states i cannot appeal
Even though i have proof that the van is registered to my home address
ive just emailed them for an explanation
as on the PCN it states that my vehicle is not permitted on site, strange it shows my van is a sprinter van and they take a higher payment
so not just exceeding the time but the van supposedly is not permitted
You cannot call and chat to anyone about the matter
Also on another matter legal matter.
ive not given the DVLA my authority to give my vehicle registarion number to any third party organisations
Read this which is interesting
Driving with false or cloned license plates in the UK is a serious offense, resulting in on-the-spot fines of £100, which can escalate up to £1,000, along with potential vehicle seizure. While typically a £100 fine without penalty points, serious or repeat offenses can lead to court action, license points, and even up to two years in prison.
im being charged £100 fine, what a crazy system
Scumbags…that is all
corrupt to the core.

Then had a parking fine saying i had not paid!! I know i had paid the cash in the machine but i cannot prove it so i will have to pay a£60 fine.i will never park there again .BEWARE parking in talisman square carpark Kenilworth
This company is an absolute disgrace
This company is an absolute disgrace. £100 fine for staying 10 seconds over the allocated time. You'll never get my custom again.
Be careful they fine even if you have paid
I used their car park on Xmas Eve and paid on App. There were multiple customer feedbacks that advised SIP will send a fine even if you have paid. Today i received a fine for £100 even though i had paid £8.20 parking - the appeal process is poor and they allow themselves 28 days to respond. I will avoid parking in their car parks any more.
Avoid
Was 1 hour over, they said it had been 25, appealed and obviously no response in the time frame, fined £100
