Excellent service today - solved two problems quickly with my patio door and a jammed window lock, and explained everything clearly.

Excellent. He arrived same day. Rang to say he was on his way. Old fashioned lock that had just stopped working - inside tiny broken piece. He quickly offered me a couple of solutions, sourced the part and fixed it. Reasonable price. But also, on top, was a really nice guy.

We are really grateful to Si for coming round so promptly (fitting us in between two other jobs) and for fixing a problem with our front door which had been bothering us. The latch wasn't closing properly. It was beyond us to sort, but Si fixed it in no time. We now have a fully working door, and great credit to Si, he didn't even charge us a call out fee. Phoned Steve at 9.00 a.m. and my elderly parents front door lock had broken and wouldn’t open. Steve arrived by 10,30, was extremely efficient, solved the problem (and replaced another dodgy lock), ordered a new part then returned within a week to fit. Would highly recommend and would definitely use Steve’s services in the future.

Si repaired or replaced several locks in my home, in order to upgrade my security. I've dealt with quite a few locksmiths over the years, but none as efficient, speedy, polite and friendly as Si. His charges were reasonable, too. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

It was just before Christmas and my 4 year old son and I woke in the morning to find that we were trapped inside the bedroom. The handle was not working as the mechanism had broken due to wear and tear when we had tried to open the door. My wife called up one locksmith but were told it could take up to 45 min so she tried SJ Locksmith as my son was getting nearly desperate to use the toilet! Si said he’d leave immediately and was at our place within 20 min. He was able to remove the handle and replaced it with a new one within seconds. He was totally friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to use him again if we get get stuck again in the future and would definitely be our first port of call!

I was locked in cause my door handle broke. I got cheaper quotes but i preferred SJ cause sound most professional. There are no hidden charges and the work was done explaining everything, clean and in good time. I am very happy with my choice and will use again.
