We had a brilliant week at Chalet Mathilde in Les Coches, Feb 2026. From the moment I contacted re. booking the stay, I received prompt and useful information from the owner Charlie. Tory and Manos were excellent and responsive hosts on the ground in La Plagne, supporting us with any issues or queries we had. The chalet was stunning, clean and catered for every need, particularly cooking equipment for 14 adults which can often be challenging! They supported us with a grocery delivery to the chalet and bakery orders daily. Big shout out to Manos who diligently came to clear the never ending snow off the driveway daily to ensure safe access to the property! Hopefully building an igloo for him was a small recompense! Thank you so much for a wonderful and unforgettable stay, we will be back…

We had a great time in Chalet Matilde. The chalet is stunning with amazing views of the alps (including mt blanc from the hot tub/sauna).

We were 14 people though never felt cramped. It is also perfectly positioned for ski in ski out access in the centre of a great ski area (we skied hard for 6 days and did not get bored!). The chalet is stocked with everything you need (we did not go out any nights as we had a raclette machine and fondue sets at our disposal).

Tory and Manos were super helpful dealing with any of our questions and providing good recommendations for what to do in resort.

Would definitely recommend and we are considering booking against some point.

We just came back from an amazing two-week stay at Chalet Mathilde.
The location was unbeatable, with ski-in/ski-out access just 30 meters away.
The chalet itself was very modern and well-equipped. Kitchen seemed brand new and well stocked. Six bedrooms each with its own bathroom was more than enough for our group of nine.
Living/dining area had great views of the Alps.
We all loved the boot room. Ski racks, boot warmers. We felt very spoiled.
After a day of skiing… the sauna and hot tub (again with great views of the Alps) was just icing on the cake.
Tory and Manos were our main contacts. They were very friendly and kind, and responded very quickly to any questions that arose.
Overall, it was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable alpine getaway.

We at stayed at the gorgeous and newly refurbished Chalet Mathilde, in Les Coches as part of a group for a cycling and walking break. The Chalet exceeded expectations, stunning views from the lounge, a very well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to accommodate a large group.

To be able to see Mont Blanc from the hot tub was spectacular and added to the feeling of luxury. The communal space in Chalet Matilde easily accommodates a larger group. The weather was perfect so we didn’t need to use the gym or the table football but there is plenty to do if you are not so lucky.

Just twenty minutes from Bourg Saint Maurice, the chalet is perfectly located for anyone wanting to shop or stock up on wonderful local produce. We would very much recommend and would love to go back.

Back at the chalet, the amenities were spot-on. The sauna and hot tub were a welcome treat after long days outdoors, and the space was beautifully equipped with everything we needed to relax and recharge.
Charlie, our host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He shared great local tips, helped us plan routes, and made sure our stay was smooth from start to finish.
If you're looking for a serene, active holiday with unbeatable views and top-notch hospitality, Ski La Source is a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing week at Chalet Mathilde staying with friends for a walking and cycling holiday. We found a great choice of routes for both within easy reach.
The Chalet has recently been beautifully renovated with absolutely stunning views over the mountains including Mont Blanc.
There was everything we needed for our stay, plenty of space and use of the sauna and hot tub, also sharing the incredible views, to unwind after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
The Chalet is self catered and well equipped, but for several evenings we also used a chef recommended by Ski La Source and she was brilliant, delicious food and a lovely variety for my Coeliac diet.
Fabulous Chalet and a stunning area to stay.

Had a great stay at the newly refurbished and upgraded Chalet Mathilde. Lovely chalet with everything you would need including a hot tub, sauna and fabulous view of Mont Blanc. We were there for a cycling and walking holiday as a group and it worked really well for both. Having previously stayed in Les Coches for skiing we would highly recommend it for this too, clearly has ski in ski out options. Several nights we had the services of a local chef arranged by Ski la Source, this proved a great success for a range of dietary requirements - highly recommend😁
