Greg Williams Masterclass.
Very useful course focusing on the important aspects of photography: the light, the composition and the moment. Rapport-building with subject. Great learning platform, too. Easy to navigate.

He's likeable and it's ok but not worth paying for - You'll get more useable and practical advice from YouTube
I liked the concept of having a 'tutorial' with the great celebrity photographer Greg Williams. The opening module, Observer/Participant was really interesting and I was excited to watch it all. But that was about as exciting as it got ... I was hoping for practical tips about things like zone focusing, how to set exposure on the fly, auto v manual settings and when to choose which, Low light, quick captures etc. There were some ok bits, but to be brutally honest, you could get way more practical and applied advice on YouTube. It is also pretty old ... he refers you to his behind the shot videos on Vevo, which are about 5 years old. Finally, it's easy to lose sight that he is an iconic photographer who the celebrities want to be photographed by. I'm not convinced the images were simple shoots, and suspect there were minions, with reflectors, make up, props, and lights in the background ready to step in. Very likeable but his settings, clients, lighting etc are just not real world for the average photographer.

Straightforward and highly applicable …
As a photographer who finds staged lighting and the technical aspects of photography both overwhelming and cumbersome, the simplicity of this course was refreshing. Very straightforward and applicable to how I like to approach a shoot.
Great experience and customer support.
I loved this course with Alex
I loved this course with Alex. I am a makeup artist since 15 years and this course is another proof that you can always learn from someone else and evolve. I loved that he used different models with different skin and age, very helpful to see the same technique adapted to different faces. I loved the format with different parts, everything is very detailed. Thank you Alex for this course!
