One major advantage of using real-world experienced trainers is, they can deliver course content from the prospective and understanding of somebody who has actually done the job, rather than someone who has just read the book. Skills For Jobs takes the responsibility of delivering appropriate and realistic training very seriously. This is evidenced through the development and approval of our own Physical Intervention training system ‘Shield PI’, quality assured by the Institute of Conflict Management (ICM) and approved by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for delivery as part of the Door Supervisor SIA licence linked training (Module 4 at Level 2). We’re pleased to boast, due to the high standards of our training, it’s recognised SfJ generally produces a higher level of candidate. As such, we work in association with a number of local and national employment agencies who recognise our expertise, and regularly frequent our courses as guests, speaking with learners regarding employment opportunities available with them. Level 2 CCTV course
Used this company to do my Level 2 CCTV Operator course and it was an intense but enjoyable course delivered professionally by a knowledgeable and experienced team. Would highly recommend if you're looking to do a Security based course or First Aid, Including Mental Health.

Rob and Allan were brilliant…
Rob and Allan were brilliant trainers—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely funny. The practical sessions were a highlight, with plenty of laughs and memorable role-plays that made learning much more enjoyable. Their real-life experience and great banter kept everyone engaged throughout the course. Highly recommended 👏😄💪

The refresher course was brilliant!
The refresher course was brilliant, everything from the instructors down to the sessions were explained and thoroughly detailed. It was extremely professional and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone willing/eager to get into the security industry.

Rob and Allen are friendly
Rob and Allen are friendly, understanding, respectful and kind people. They are professional on an outstanding level while making learning fun and enjoyable for everyone on their courses.
As a woman, I have to admit I was slightly nervous to go on the course but those nerves quickly subsided with Rob and Allen, they didn’t treat us differently in the slightest and made me feel so comfortable! If anyone is looking at doing their SIA, I highly recommend doing it with these gents!

Even though I struggled a few times
Even though I struggled a few times, the course was very enjoyable.Not once did I consider leaving the course. Alan and Rob were were both very professional in their teaching, and were always on hand to offer any assistance you might need. Thank you Rob & Alan.

Highly recommended
Rob and Allan were outstanding throughout my SIA Door Supervisor course. They went above and beyond both professionally and personally, delivering everything clearly and making it easy to understand while keeping it engaging and enjoyable. Their support and genuine care really stood out, making the whole experience both rewarding and memorable meeting some great people along the way.

Rob was an extremely knowledgable trainer and taught you real world door supervisor knowledge. The shield system is extremely good and I appreciated all the help. I learnt something new and have been on the doors for 10 years.

I have done my second top up/refresher…
I have done my second top up/refresher course with Skills for Jobs last week. As we all know it is something that needs to be done. I can recommend SFJ to anyone who needs to get through the course. Easy going, fully professional and knowledgeable. I can recommend Rob as a top end professionalist.
