It's the same with all these sites...

It's the same with all these sites.

The user experience is terrible. I can buy 10 items from the market at a time afterwards when i try to buy more the purchases fail constantly and saying try again later.

I guess none of these sites cares about actually providing a good smooth user experience and they all just accept it because the competition is just as bad at providing decent business practices.

If I put my money into your site then I expect it to not be difficult to buy stuff on said site.
Instead you waste my time with errors and bugs.

Im trying to buy a knife

Im trying to buy a knife, but cant deposit over 1k dollars from my credit card. I wait for 24 hours and deposit whats missing, then my knife is sold. Trying anotherr knife, i get the message that the marked is undergoing maintanence and i should try later. I loose another find of a good knife, then i try a third, now i get error while creating trade: marked purchase failed, please try again. And no matter how many time i try, it still says the same. They wont refund me my money either, so i call this a scam as they are currently sitting on my 1368 dollars and i cant do anything with them or get it back.

That said, we would like to clarify that the funds deposited to your account remained fully credited to your Skinflow balance at all times. They were not lost, withheld, or taken from you, and characterizing the situation as a scam is therefore inaccurate.

At the time of your review, we were in the process of expanding our marketplace variety with a new provider to allow access to a significantly larger selection of items. Unfortunately, this introduced some issues that affected certain purchases. Since then, our team has implemented a number of fixes and improvements to make the purchasing experience substantially more reliable.

Unfortunately, we cannot identify the account associated with this review, so we are unable to determine whether you contacted our support team regarding the deposit limit or the failed purchases. Don't be fooled by the high Trustpilot score.

They don't scam you outright. Instead, they slowly skim money off you through price discrepancies and excuses. They lure you in with what look like cheap prices on certain items, then charge you more than the price you agreed to when starting the purchase. Congratulations, you've been tricked.

When I contacted support about being charged a different amount, they blamed it on "market fluctuations." The problem is that the price I saw when I initiated the purchase was not the price I ended up paying.

I've also had transactions fail with messages suggesting I might have been "API scammed" and should cancel the trade. In reality, the item was no longer available. Steam itself returned an error showing the trade could not be completed because the item wasn't available anymore.

When you try to explain that you were charged the wrong price, support comes up with strange explanations and acts as if the higher price was always the original price, even when you clearly saw something different before confirming the purchase.

We would like to address a few of the points raised in your review, as we believe they may be based on misunderstandings about how marketplace pricing and trade execution work.

Firstly, Skinflow does not manually alter prices during a purchase. Item prices are sourced from external markets and update by the minute to reflect the most current pricing possible. As a result, if there is a delay between viewing an item, depositing funds, and completing a purchase, the item's market price may have changed in the meantime. While we understand that this can be frustrating, it is never the result of hidden fees or intentional price tag manipulation.

We appreciate that this experience is not ideal, and we are looking into ways to improve the purchasing flow and reduce the impact of price changes during the deposit process.

Regarding the API scam warning, this notification is designed as a safety measure. It may be displayed whenever a trade cannot be completed successfully, as failed trades are sometimes associated with an account being compromised or trade interception attempts, especially when a user is interacting with a bot marketplace such as Skinflow. The warning is intended to encourage users to verify their account security before proceeding and should not be interpreted as a definitive explanation of what caused the failure. As they say, it's better to be safe than sorry.

As for the trade error itself, we unfortunately do not have enough information from this review to determine exactly what occurred in your case. Steam trade failures can happen for a variety of reasons, including temporary Steam issues, or the scheduled Tuesday maintenance which we believe is the most likely case here, due to the message saying the item was "unavailable," which is common for those Tuesday updates.

I'm always skeptical with these types of marketplaces especially the ones offer instant sale, however this one is legit.

Just two tiny problems, 1- They offer very low prices to buy your items (skins/cases), 2- They don't purchase all items, low & volatile items, like Recoil Case, Kilowatt Case, etc.

Overall they're good.

However, I haven't tried to be a buyer, so I can't give my opinion about it.

For the two concerns you mentioned,
If you are taking steam prices as reference, then yes prices would be very low, but that is because real money prices are very very different from steam prices. Same thing you would see i.e. the skins being very cheap even if you went to buy instant skins on our site :).

As for the second concern, yes that is definitely true, things that are very low in price, or are very volatile for business reasons we don't accept them at the moment.

Alright

Pros:
Will allow you to sell skins quickly, and get money to paypal.

Cons:
Takes a much heavier fee than expected, you get more money out of a different site or when selling directly on Steam. Was not clear this was the case.

Regarding your comment on pricing, Skinflow provides an instant-sale service. This means users can immediately sell their items and lock in a cash value without waiting for a buyer, which differs from traditional marketplaces where items may take time to sell and prices can fluctuate during that period. Our fees represent the risk we take on with this model.

It's also important to distinguish between Steam Market prices and real-world cash values. Steam balances cannot be withdrawn as cash, and the prices on the Steam Community Market prices are inflated to compensate for exorbitant marketplace fees (~16%).

We were sorry to hear that the fee seemed higher than expected. We do our best to display all pricing clearly before a transaction is confirmed so that users can review the exact amount they will receive before proceeding.
