Well structured, good content, fantastic support for questions and assessments.
Consideration needed to support transition to digital first approach.

I wanted to share some feedback while it's all fresh. The teaching was wonderful from start to finish. Your English was so clear, and the pace of your speaking was just right — easy to follow every step of the way. The comparisons and the little jokes made everything even more delicious to learn; they brought the material to life and made it stick.
The images and samples were equally clear. They made it so easy to catch the idea each time, even for trickier concepts.
And the honest feedback on my exam results — thank you so much for that. Even though the course was remote and everything came in written form, somehow I could almost hear your voice saying all these things. That warmth came through every time.
Thanks a lot, truly. I now have a good, big pack of knowledge to start skippering, and I can't wait until I'm able to put it all into practice on the water.

I completed my Day Skipper Theory with Skippers Online - it was great to do this online as I have young kids, a busy job and fitting in a classroom based course would have been too tricky. There is a lot of content, but none of it unnecessary. I didn’t need to use the support of the instructors, but it was good to know that support was there.

I would recommend for anyone that’s in a similar circumstance.

Great experience. Lots of ressources are made available, good use of computer and softwares. All exams were corrected quickly and corrections are made to clarify all aspects of the problem. Did not have to use a direct link to a live instructor, but I experienced a fast follow up on my administrative needs. Highly recommended

Excellent course structure, very good technology platform and outstanding personal support

Really enjoy the way the material is taught. I am a visual learner and the diagrams and visuals really help. You may think you know a lot until you take these courses then realize just how little you really know.

Clear and well put-together courses - sometimes seemed a bit ponderous but that is the nature of the subject matter and different levels of knowledge. Effective tests on each module and efficient assessments. I’d say it is fairly vital to complete the course before starting the practical.

The material was easy to follow and well paced with good pictures and graphics. The help line worked well and additional resources were also readily available. People I contacted via email were universally helpful and made me feel I was on course

Everything is well put together and easy to follow. The lessons are detailed and in depth with a lot of experiences to get you comfortable with the modules work. Really enjoyed it.

Detailed content and very responsive to queries

Practical, easy to use, thorough knowledge and good help if needed. As good as online courses get.

Unfortunately they didn’t state that the day skipper course was the paper chart based course and not the new digital first format.

When I asked my online instructor, they just said it’s the same qualification , but for me it’s the wrong knowledge for today’s sailing and the RYA should make all of there instructors update there training to the latest course.

When I go for my practical, it will be based on digital first which came out 2 years ago.

I thoroughly enjoyed this Day Skipper course through Skippers Online and would happily recommend it.
The course was excellent and very well thought out. The learning material was clearly presented, with plenty of helpful examples throughout, which made the content much easier to understand and apply.

The online format worked perfectly for me. I do not have the time to sit in a classroom for a full week, so being able to access the course when I had time, and work through it at my own pace, was ideal. I also really valued being able to go back over modules whenever I needed to clarify something or refresh my learning.
I have completed a lot of online learning through my job, and I would rate this as one of the best online courses I have encountered. The support from Skipper Online was also excellent — whenever I needed to contact them, the response was within hours, whether during the week or at the weekend.
Overall, a really impressive course and a very positive learning experience from this company.

Instructors are very responsive so you don't have to wait hours before you get answers.

EXTRAORDINARY learning experience. I am an IT professional and I do a lot of online learning, and this is one of the best quality courses that I ever used.
This Day Skipper course is very well tuned and obviously refined over years and is an efficient way to get both the knowledge and the certificate.
Offline learning app is really useful.
RYA curriculum is completely covered, but the content also provides interesting details from the real sailing world experience that you can relate to when you’re sailing. Doing exercises and mock exams are sufficient to pass the exam. Feedback on mock exam answers is detailed and brilliant. Can’t wait to do my Yachtmaster learning. Congratulations Skippers Online. Very comprehensive and well put together course

Excellent. Flexible and clear. Great mocks and support before final exams as well. Bite size exercises throughout and the odd quiz!

The Day Skipper online course was very thorough. The test is a bit difficult- but it makes you work harder. The test results were quick turnaround. I recommend the course.
