I just changed to SKY internet.
I was offered it at $50 a month for a year there after $55.
My first invoice charged $60 a month, so I rang to sort it out and she checked my phone conversation, said yes that is what you were offered,we'll fix it and send out new invoice, ignore and don't pay old one
Then I got a txt saying I missed paying my bill,
rang again..........
they refused to acknowledge that I had been offered it at $50 even though I know they went back and checked phone conversation.
Communication is horrific, no emails upon joining welcoming me or confirming the contract and price.
Again avoid like the plague

Two months ago I transferred our Broadband to Sky, Since then we have experienced fast (940) mbs and reliable transmission without one dropout.
I have read a lot of negative reviews of the Sky Router supplied but coverage is better and faster than the Orbi system that it replaced.

They advertise a deal for $80 a month and then bill you for $118 and say that $118 is correct. You ask for someone to contact you personally and they ignore you. Biggest bunch of incompetent rogues I've ever dealt with. I am just not paying until I speak to someone intelligent and they bill what we agreed to. Already notified the commerce commision as I'm not the only one it seems.

No 0800 these days, kept me on hold for 10 mins and still failed to confirm they'd done a simple request I.e. change my payment cycle so I paid on the 1st of the month, rather than getting my ac mid month & being charged for late payment when I pay on the first of the month as I have for the past 20 years !

Ever since we've changed over to the knew white sky box iv had trouble with it clutching having to turn the sky unit off for a min so it will work better it pisses me off this is suppose to be a up grade and to be better then the old sky box I'd prefer to have the old unit any day, iv rung them up about it and all they say is we are working on the problem through the satel light which hasn't changed we pay our money to get good TV streaming its not worth it when your watching your favorite program or a movie on Netflx and it keep clutching cutting out it does my head in how about you fix the problem its not good enough.

Felt like I was being asked to jump through meaningless loops. Online support was utter crap. Currently been waiting to speak to someone via phone for 21 minutes with no notification of where in the cue I am.
Internet down for almost 8 hours. It's funny how they know you're offline when you check on their app, but they don't proactively message you or anything to try to make things right before it becomes an issue. For a tech company this should be an easy fix but - no.

Sky Box stopped working - have called them numerous times - was told each time we would have a new Sky box couriered within 3 - 5 days - still waiting and told next week but no guarantee.

I was moving houses and called up Sky a week in advance to sort out the change of address. Talked to customer support and assured the new place is serviceable and was just checking some details out. Promised to give a call back when everything was set. Guess what, they called me a day before I was moving and informed me my new address is not within their coverage. With this kind of disregard to client's needs has left me without internet connection for the next 2-3 weeks. All they gave me was to waive the termination of contract fee. Scrambling to find another ISP and forced to use mobile data. Just horrible customer service

Whoa! Sky NZ advertises products you don’t seem to be able to purchase!
Whoa! Eager customer in Aoteoroa New Zealand for five weeks and I want to get access to Sky NZ sports for one month to watch local and international rugby. Looks easy online. The site comes up and the monthly option around NZD$60 appears but when you click on it… nothing happens. Blank phone screen.
So, I phone the listed contact number. A digital voice tells me this number has changed and dictates a new number I listen to three times to memorise.
I call the new number and, after several minutes get a human voice but I suspect offshore, i.e. not in NZ. No worries. The polite person listens to my issue: how on Earth do I sign up to Sky Sports NZ, and asks me to wait.., and I wait… and I wait… and I lose patience and cancel my call.
Hm. This seems to me like a pretty dreadful Sky customer service. I honestly feel as if the product advertised is basically unobtainable and when I contact the customer service section to address the issue, the protocols suggest also, desired service is unobtainable.
Fascinating, and, if you’ve come across this review, go figure. Sigh.
Skybroadband sucks
Wish I could give big 0! Customer service is lacking any humanity, not a single care given. When payment is to be made is not clear, their deals are rip offs, the original price before the deals go up, when the internet is cut off - there's no notification, and they can't compensate for it being off for hours, then says to contact Chorus to complain. It's ridiculous. Never again with Sky! Can't wait for my contract to be done with them. Never had so many headaches with an internet provider. Their internet is slow too and I'm on their most expensive plan. Don't sign up with them! They don't take accountability for their mistakes/faults and do not care to rectify it. Good luck using them if you work from home or need the internet for medical needs.

I have 12 Sky Sport channels & still can't get NZ playing cricket!! The price keeps getting higher & keep getting less good sport! Sure I get useless things like a Shaun Johnson talk show, darts, interviews of AFL & Football... Where is England Vs India Test matches? Why do we have rugby on 2 channels at the same time with Maori commentating???? Time for competition & not like TAB who make a 100% same site & call it Betcha.
The new Sky box is terrible
The old Sky box was well thought out intuitive and faultlessly reliable. The new Sky box is none of those. It is slow, laggy and relies heavily on the internet connection to even work.
They have messed up the interface and the remote.

What the hell is with all the repeats?? It’s ridiculous. I link my favourite programmes when I see an episode come up that is new and haven’t seen before… before I know it I get all the old episodes jumbled in to all the new ones but many many more old episodes.
This is so frustrating and I’m over it!
