I had a worst experience with skybags

I had a worst experience with skybags. I bought a bag, then after 3 months the chain are showing some issue, then I resolved the issue. But now it’s just 7 months, its again showing problems and even the quality is also not as per the amount I paid. The amount was 4000/- and I bought it at 2400/-. Still not worth it.

Terrible terrible experience

Terrible terrible experience! They only give you an estimated time for collection on the day, and when the driver arrived he informed me in a rude way that he didn’t have space in his van, and left without attempting to even help!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Total lack of service and endless excuses given for delays in delivery of our bags. We paid extra for their ‘Express’ service which they have refused to refund. They claim the issue for the delay was there were electronics in our bags. This is 100% false - there was nothing but clothing. Calls don’t get returned and you have to chase to get emails answered. Save yourself the hassle and go direct to DHL Express for a much better frictionless service. All Sky Bags did was make matters worse and slow down the process. Avoid!

Half of the things arrived broken. You are the worst, the least professional ever. The boxes where opened, the things not protected enough clearly.

This is a scam.

This is a scam! Shipped 3 luggages with them between UK and France. The main reason was to avoid having to fill the custom paperwork myself. It turns out they booked DHL (could have done it myself for cheaper) and they cocked up the paperwork, so I had to spend hours doing it myself if I did not want my bags to be sent back to the UK. I've tried to get skybags to do something about it, they were absolutely hopeless and could not care less. Just book DHL or any other international carrier to avoid yourself some time and money wasted.

It is rarely disclosed to us what is needed by the destination's customs as it surrounds the nature of your personal belongings and the intentions for them. Fully understand your frustration if you had a particularly difficult encounter with them.

Excellent service

Excellent service, very helpful all our bags were delivered to Finland as promised, the only hold up was the bags were held in customs for a few days. Thanks for a great experience would highly recommend.

AVOID

Got charged over £40 duty on my own clothes that were duty exempt! When I complained to Skybags they said they would "look into it" and that they cannot take responsibility for the actions of the courier service THEY hire! I have still heard nothing back from them . I would NEVER use them again. AVOID.

I would recommend skybags if you need a safe and reliable service at an affordable price

I would recommend skybags if you need to have your personal items delivered to you within europe. I used the service to take my personal items in a suitcase from the uk to switzerland and the experience was fairly quick and hassle free. I had the bag collected on 6th of January and delivered on the 21st of January. This took a little longer than the 7 days stated but for the price and the smooth experience I think its worth it.

Great Customer Service

Having arranged to send a package to Canada, I had to cancel my booking at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. I emailed Sky Bags to advise them, as early as possible, on the day the box should have been collected. They were most helpful and cancelled the pick up etc.,
I fully expected to loose my deposit under the circumstances, but a refund was arranged the same day. I found their service outstanding throughout my booking process and would most certainly use them in the future.

Skybags outsourced my belongings to DHL…

Skybags outsourced my belongings to DHL then washed their hands of the matter. It has been over a month and I have yet to receive my belongings. The delays have been due to DHL error (not customs) yet skybags washes their hands of the situation and worse I have been charged huge storage fees due the delays. These items were for my children as we have been trapped overseas during the pandemic. Skybags have shown zero responsibility leaving me to endure the daily stress for a month of trying to sort things out with DHL. They should not take peoples money if they are going to outsource delivery and then blame issues on customs ( when clearly the issues are due to DHL) . Currently my bags have cleared customs and I have still not received them, yet skybags fobs me off saying it's a customs issues. This shows a lack of understanding of the business they are involved in. All the errors made were not related to the pandemic and were down to poor customer service, lack of understanding of the business and negligence. Terrible customer service. I would avoid them and be advising others to do the same
Lack of research over customs rules has had nothing to do with the errors and delays. As there response shows, I have still not received my goods and they have not done anything to sort this out. If I email info @skybags.....I get no response, and they have washed their hands of the matter.

Excellent service and affordable! Shipped 6 boxes and 1 luggage from UK to US without a hitch in the process. Boxes were delivered in time, I stored my items in the UK for couple of weeks and they arrived at destination within the time-line expected.
