Game changer!

Love this. Absolute game changer. It imports recipes from any source flawlessly, sidekick works a treat at suggested meal plans for a picky toddler, it takes the mental load off chores, add to and view lists from anywhere, etc etc. We bought the 27" PLUS and its worth every penny.

Delivery was delayed and I’m not…

Delivery was delayed and I’m not receiving any tracking information or feedback from a human. The link on emails doesn’t go anywhere. I can understand delivery delays but the feedback and lack of information is poor.

I been considering Skylight for over a…

I been considering Skylight for over a year .... and decided to buy it for myself for mother's Day late Sat night before Mother's Day Sunday - it arrived on Sunday !
Week 1 and this has already improved family organisation ( we have a very busy schedule ) . It has also improved Teen involvement in chores / routines as they can visually see how chores are split between each family member by how many stars they have .
The 'Up for grabs ' chore option is very helpful as giving each person a set chore is hard with a fluctuating daily schedule - letting everyone choose from the daily list of 'must be done daily chores ' helps as it gives all of us flexibility and accountability .
I paid for the plus option and the ease of uploading all my favourite recipes by taking a photo was well worth it . Plus uploading from a photo is very useful eg, we could upload a season of sports matches by scanning one photo .
I like the 4th trial / return option as I is a large upfront cost ( eps if it doesn't work for you or your family . I'm glad I finally bought it ( but I've 3.5 months left to trial to be sure I like it !

I'm so happy to hear your family is loving your new Skylight as much as mine does! It really is a game-changer, particularly when it comes to motivating the kids to do their chores. For me, meal planning has been my absolute saving grace, so I'm glad to hear you're using the recipes uploader too!

If for whatever reason, it does not end up being the helpful hub, you have those 4 months like you mentioned to test everything out and make a well-informed decision if you'd like to keep it - we certainly hope you do, but returns are entirely guilt-free.

I love my Skylight calendar

I love my Skylight calendar
It helps me organise all the family. I love the fact that you can use it to display your photographs and also you can have recipe ideas.

Beta product flogged by influencers! - Refund on return is a problem.

Delivery was prompt, concept fantastic, and that’s where the good ends.

Our calendar stopped syncing all events with ICloud and one of the advertised “up for grabs” chores features was not available so we contacted support via the web chat.

The AI agent was useless, it kept pointing us to the same instructions that did not work. When we eventually got to a human it was a case of video what doesn’t work and email it in.

Emailed in;
- Chores issue was closed immediately without an acknowledgement or response.
- The sync has been open for 15 days without a response beyond “it’s been escalated”. Emails for updates have been ignored.

I asked to return the calendar because not accurately syncing events is a significant flaw and lack of a reply is concerning.

Latest performance is that Skylight have not received the calendar back (via their courier) provided proof of posting and delivery. Therefore it looks like we need to get our money back via the credit card company or court.

Don’t fall for the hype, like we did. Our experience is poor both in quality of the product, support and service.

UPDATE: I received an update to the sync issue a few days ago saying it was resolved, when checking the app, it had not.

The return was received on the 7th May and chasing the support team. Finally resolved on 27th May despite a 5 working day turnaround promised.

The support team offered a complimentary product as a way of an apology.

In my opinion with continued development it will eventually be a fantastic product but until then, I’ll be using the basic Apple calendar and an alternative, more economical chores tracker.

Great device, challenging when troubleshooting

The device is great and is a great concept. The level I needed to go to get my calendar connected to my wifi and operational was ridiculous

Marketing targeting Mother’s Day which…

Marketing targeting Mother’s Day which was a month away, I purchased one of these for that day, website says fast shipping 1-2 days from date of purchase and it nearly took three weeks before they even sent it after I had to follow up with them! Wasn’t here in time for Mother’s Day.
