Think twice before...

When I realised how expensive is this service I tried to cancel my claim . As I experienced the rigth to cancel the claim during 14 days after application, as it is promised on the website, in reality does not exist.

After entering into agreement with SkyRefund, we assume that
the client has familiarized themselves with the Terms and Conditions stipulated on our website. Therefore, before receiving your statement that you wish to cancel our services, our team successfully submitted your claim to the airline and invested time and effort in claiming your compensation, hence fulfilling
our obligations and successfully upholding your passenger rights. Since the compensation amount had already been received by SkyRefund, we were unable to discontinue the claim as per Article II.19 of our Terms and Conditions (https://skyrefund.com/en/terms), and we duly informed you of that. For this clause to apply, the Client has given prior consent
for the claim filing procedure to commence during the withdrawal period and has acknowledged the conditions under which the right to withdraw from the Agreement is forfeited.

Therefore, the Standard fee was applicable and rightfully owed to SkyRefund, according to our Pricing policy, which is clearly stated on our website.

Trustworthy Service

Once I had completed the comprehensive claims forms the process was seamless and within a few weeks the compensation was paid out to me. I would have liked a little more detail on the breakdown of the compensation but that's not overly important as they got compensation that I would have found difficult/impossible to get on my own

Good support but need more transparency in the charges

Support was good. But then additional charges were deducted from the final amount due to additional legal support as per Sky Refund team,
But not sure why there was a need for additional legal process as in this case Airline was bound to provide the compensation due to the lapse on their side ?
Since Airline voluntarily dragged this issue, can we not penalise the airline for these additional expenses rather penalising the passenger in this case.

Horrible communications

Communications are not bad, they are non-existent. Over a year now and nothing except an acknowledgement from Aer Lingus that a complaint had been filed. Tried to submit the information form and it was rejected.

Situations like this can considerably delay the standard claims procedure, especially when the airline is slow to respond or does not provide the necessary resolution in a timely manner. The process has been additionally slowed down due to the fact that last January we required an important document from you to help us move forward with your case promptly but unfortunately, we did not receive it.

Please rest assured that your claim has not been forgotten. Our legal team is currently reviewing alternative legal avenues to escalate the case and move it forward through more formal channels. When airlines remain unresponsive, escalation is sometimes the only effective path toward resolution. In order to escalate your case, however, we need the document requested previously. You will shortly receive an email with more detailed information.

Really dissatisfied with this company

Really dissatisfied with this company. Applied for compensation in April 2024 (yes - almost 2 years ago). Very infrequently I'll send a message asking for an any update and, initially they'd just say they were working on it, and last 2 emails were just ignored. I enquired to know if they've given up so then I'd be able to employ another company before the time limit expires. Apparently they reply to reviews on here though - which strongly suggests they're more concerned with company presentation management rather than actually assisting clients. [The following is my reply to SkyRefund's reply to my Trustpilot review: not true what you write - you have ignored my past two messages through your website. Yet here you're denying this and asking me to message you there again. Interesting that you reply here in Trustpilot but not there where it actually matters to the client. Poor...]
