Sky Travel Pod - Bait & Switch Tactics
Sky Travel Pod operates out of an offshore call center and uses classic "bait and switch" tactics. I booked a flight after verifying it wasn't a promotional rate, yet I received no booking confirmation.
After 5 days of chasing them down, they blamed me for the delay and claimed their sales team was "working to secure the tickets." Unsurprisingly, the tickets were "no longer available."but for an extra £200..! To make matters worse, they then demanded I pay airline taxes just to cancel one leg of the flight that they apparently secured??
Even though they verbally agreed over the phone to issue a full refund, they subsequently sent an ambiguous email that failed to confirm I would actually get my money back. As a result, I am now having to seek a full refund directly through my credit card provider.
These unknown travel agents are not worth the stress and hassle. Stick to trusted platforms like Skyscanner. I’ve never had a single issue with them.
