We purchased a washer and dryer from this retailer and paid for installation. Unfortunately, the installation was done incorrectly because the water lines were not connected properly. As a result, water backed up into our home and caused significant damage.
To their credit, they did send SERVPRO to handle the cleanup and repairs. However, the entire situation was extremely inconvenient and stressful. We had to take two full days off work to accommodate the cleanup and repair process. During the installation, the technicians also damaged our dryer vent connection.
What was most disappointing was the poor customer service throughout the process. Communication was lacking, and it felt like we had to work much harder than we should have to get their mistake addressed.
Mistakes can happen, but customers should not have to deal with property damage, additional repairs, lost work time, and unresponsive customer service as a result. Based on our experience, I would be very cautious about purchasing appliances and installation services from this retailer.
