I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Slater Menswear.

I placed my order on 29 June 2026 because I needed it for a wedding this Thursday. The order was dispatched to DPD on 30 June, but after that everything went wrong. The parcel has been delayed for nearly two weeks, with the tracking repeatedly changing between delivery to my home, a safe place, a DPD Pickup Locker, and finally a Morrisons Daily collection point.

The expected delivery date has been changed multiple times without any explanation, and I have still not received my order. Every update has simply told me to wait longer.

What has made the experience even worse is the lack of proactive communication. I have had to chase both Slater Menswear and DPD myself to try to find out where my parcel is. For an order worth over £120, I expected much better customer service and a clear resolution.

I chose Slater Menswear because of its reputation, but this experience has been frustrating and stressful. A suit for a wedding is a time-sensitive purchase, and the delays have left me questioning whether it will arrive in time.

I hope Slater Menswear takes responsibility, works more closely with its delivery partners, and improves communication with customers when delays occur. At this stage, I am still waiting for my order and for a proper explanation.

Easy to order, quickly dispatched and delivered, good quality and value for money.

I went to the store looking for a graduation suit and when I entered it seem to pretty busy so we were left to browse ourselves without any support. After becoming overwhelmed in the store, we were approached by a kind gentlemen by the name of Dellroth. Within 5 minutes, he picked out the perfect suit of me with the exact fitment that was required. I could not have dreamt for a better suit for a special day.
Dellroth really made the experience one to remember.
Keep up the good work Dellroth. And hopefully I see you soon.

My husband is disabled and wears a prosthetic limb. We visited the Newcastle store to purchase a suit for an upcoming wedding. From walking into the store he was treated with respect and courtesy (something not always given to wheelchair users). Both Mark and Darren went out of their way to ensure a good fit with both with and without his prosthetic limb.
We received a first class service and will be recommending Slaters Newcastle to all friends and family. Will go no share else in future.

The clasps are poor quality thus keep slipping off my trousers unless I double the thickness of material within the clasps

I had a wonderful experience finding a suit for my graduation. Namely, Dave G was very patient and had excellent judgement when helping me pick and size the suit. Also, Anouska T was lovely and helped me find the perfect shirt to match, and shoes as well. If you’re ever in Slaters, 1 Brown Street, be sure to look for those two as they will surely help you find what you’re looking for!
