Help from Ivy led to great experience!

Great experience and great customer service! I did my sleep study last night and it was very easy from start to finish. Ivy Skaggs in was the first rep I spoke to and she was friendly and extremely helpful!

10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Very good customer service

Very good customer service. An order I made was not received on time due to a problem with the shipper not the company, yet they shipped my items again expedited and was refunded the original shipping cost. Very pleased with how responsive they were and how they handled everything.

Absolutely stay away and don’t buy…

Absolutely stay away and don’t buy anything from these crooks.
Bought a cpap machine for my husband for over $1000 and it came with only the machine. No tubing, no mask, no nothing. It was supposed to, says so right on our order and on the packing list. They took it out of the box, probably to resell it on their website.
There is zero customer service. The phone number doesn’t work. No answered emails or not chats. Total scam.
$1000 might not be much to others, but it’s a fortune to us and now we’re not only out the money but the treatment also. The machine is useless.
There is nothing more despicable than praying on sick people, especially for financial gain. There is a special place in hell for people/companies that do this.
I hope someone reads this review and doesn’t make the same mistake we did.
Go through a reputable dealer.
Update:
Your phone number goes to no where, shocker. You don’t reply to emails either.
You rip folks off for a few feet of tubing.
1000% crooks. Shame on you.

After reviewing your order, it looks like you opted not to purchase the set up pack that contains the tubing and mask. While we state on the AirMini product page several times that the set up pack is not included, I understand that this could always be made more clear.

Astonishing incompetence

Astonishing incompetence! They have REPEATEDLY promised me something would ship on X date and then shipped it later than promised. This is despite being told I needed a shipment before leaving on trips.

Stay away.

Excellent experience!

I have been having issues with extreme fatigue and occasionally waking up with a headache. My doctor suggested that I do a sleep study. The first sleep study that I did was with a overnight pulse oximetry very beat up and worn wrist unit that I obtained through my PCP office. I am in the medical field and the pulse ox was working well every time I woke up during the night. I returned the unit for interpretation. I was advised that they were not able to read it due to too much "artifact". I decided to research other sleep study options online. Sleep Doctor was highly rated, so I chose this company. I am very impressed and satisfied with my experience. The disposable "WatchPAT" unit comes with clear instructions and is very easy to use. You need to download the app onto your phone. The sleep study information is transmitted when you are finished (minimum of 7 hrs is recommended, I believe). I received an email within a few days that my study had been reviewed. I then scheduled a virtual appointment with the clinician, Rebekah. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She went over the results with me in detail, and answered all of my questions. My AHI score was slightly elevated and they recommended CPAP. She went over all of the options including different CPAP devices. I also got a prescription for a CPAP machine and a detailed print out of my results.

Great customer service! I would highly recommend Sleep Doctor for a home sleep study.

Excellent company for home testing of…

Excellent company for home testing of sleep problems. Affordable and easy to use FDA approved home testing kit. Follow through on test results were explained thoroughly and a plan recommended to improve my sleep apnea. Highly recommend the Sleep Doctor for identifying sleep problems and follow-up on the best solution.

I love their communication and empathy

I love their communication and empathy, as someone who is and has been seeking healthcare, this seems rare, at least where I live and imo. I have something in my throat making it hard to swallow and it is also pushing into the airway so even though I'm not overweight seems maybe to be causing my apnea. I had no idea I even had apnea until this test, it was suggested by a doctor so I'm glad I know but not having an easy time adjusting to the machine. I feel like there could be more videos for this issue.
Also didn't like having the nasal mask suggested, if you snore you are opening your mouth rendering the CPAP useless as all the air goes out my mouth when it opens, so I had to spend another 135 on a full face mask...if you read this don't waste money on the nasal type imo.

The CPAP was noisy

The CPAP was noisy. Their return policy is no returns once used. I only tested the machine. It was noisy so they sent me another and if too was too noisy for me to sleep. Since I am a veteran they did a one time waiver and allowed me to return the AirMini and accessories

Do it for your health- I should have done the testing sooner

My Garmin watch was constantly reported poor not continuous sleep, with very little deep and REM sleep. My O2 levels were dipping into the low 80's at night. My conclusion was the watch is wrong, and i stopped wearing it at night. Problem solved.
I was waking up exhausted, and falling a sleep in the middle of the day. My blood pressure was consistently high at every month doctors appointment for almost a year. I tried exercise and weight loss, but it did not help.
I thought I'm just getting old in my 40's and this is how it is. The nurse was talking about the possible need for high blood pressure medication.

I found the sleep doctor online, and debated for months about doing an at home sleep test. I did a lab test in my 20's and I did not want to do that again, and now the wait is even longer.

It was the easiest test to do. I took the test it with me on a trip to Vancouver BC doing the testing in a quiet environment on a Friday and had the results on Monday. I began my sleep therapy on Thursday.

The sleep specialist made me a shopping cart of equipment including machine and mask. They check in with you first at the two week mark to about the therapy and any adjustments.

My BP is down and my mood and anxiety has improved. I glad I finally did the test, it improved my health and quality of life. A mild form of sleep apnea can have significant affects on your health and wellness

I recommend using a little piece of medical tape to hold the chest senor in place.
I have mild sleep apnea, but treating it has made a difference in a very short period of time, my bp which was consistently between the 135 and 140's over 80;s in now in the 120 over 70's. I have less fatigue, more energy and my mood and anxiety have improved

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Needed an updated receipt to file with my insurance company. Contacted customer service and was provided the needed receipt in less than 24 hours. I would recommend Sleep Doctor for all CPAP related equipment.

I have nothing but good things to say

I have nothing but good things to say. They sent me my sleep apnea kit to do the sleep study and it was easy and straightforward. Within a few days, I got a very comprehensive report from the doctor, then had a zoom meeting with the respiratory therapist to go over the findings, diagnosis and make recommendations. It was so easy and I did it all from my home without having to drive to doctors and wait weeks for appointments.

This was an easy and very pleasant…

This was an easy and very pleasant process. Doctors I spoke with were very friendly and helpful! Test was simple, but informative. Results were next day. I paid cash, very good price, arrived in a couple days, ready to go. Works great!

Overseas access

I am currently working overseas and have limited access to healthcare specialties. The ability to have access to a sleep specialist with the use of a long-distance testing device has been an easy method to continue receiving U.S. equivalent care. When issues with uploading the information arose, the customer service team responded quickly. They worked to resolve the situation with several solution options.
