The staff were friendly and food was good. However the power sockets were not working and despite of our request for help, no one came to offer any resolution which made the trip a little disappointing as in this time and age, charing our electronic is paramount to our travelling forward to make the necessary contact and arrangements for our onward journey.

I could not access their wi-fi . Also no access to dining coach in the morning .

Really expensive for a solo traveller wanting a bed. And you get very little else, a bottle of water and a bar of soap.
What’s mad is after paying all that money you’re not allowed to have a shower at the arrival station lounge, that privilege is only for the people who have already paid even more for a shower in their room on board. Doesn’t make any sense.

Club car out of service. Noise - could hear every word of the conversation in the next cabin.

Really clean, great accomodation. Also great communication per email and text to warn of changes

Euston guest lounge excellent. Didn’t realise there were showers there, but that’s really useful to know.
My cabin was clean and comfortable, all staff that I encountered were helpful and professional- and smiled!
Lovely hot tea delivered in the morning. Downside however, was the lack of water in the morning. None to flush the toilet, brush teeth nor have a shower. Had to use the station facilities at Edinburgh.

I thought the overall service was good with timely trains, good storage and food / drink. I did think the seats were a bit uncomfortable (padding wise) for a longer journey and limited recline as well as no head tilt supports for sleeping. I also found the lockers / blinds rattles constantly on both trains I took - this was very irritating over a long journey.

The staff, comfortable bed and duvet, communication and convenience of train station location in Inverness and London. Both had places to store luggage so we could spend time at each place.

The service was on time . Seats comfortable and train clean.BUT!
what was very disappointing to me was the lack of information about some aspects of the catering for the seated coach.
When I tried to order a cooked savoury for breakfast, I was told I “not possible” as I should have ordered it the night before. This information was not visible to me in any of the information I read.

First time I have taken the Caledonian Sleeper and won't do again. Hugely expensive for a very hot box

staff were lovely and i received a signed birthday card as actually travelled on my birthday so that was thoughtful indeed!

Comfortable, clean cabin. One star off because sockets did not work so I had to go to the club car for a socket to charge my phone. The steward did give me a complementary breakfast though.

Sadly the staff shortage meant that the club lounge wasn’t functioning correctly and the breakfast offerings were limited. However the staff were wonderful considering how stretched they were. But the service wasn’t really worth the money without the club experience

The staff were amazing, from welcoming us in the lounge to making sure we were in the correct cabin. at all times they were polite, friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the food was good.
There didn't seem to be many dining spaces in the club dining car, so we invited a French group to join our table, it made for an entertaining evening.

For a couple on holidays with luggage it is not to recommend. With light luggage it is ok.

I was looking forward to my trip very much. I even researched my cabin. Before I got on the train, I used the’first class lounge’ it was disappointing.
When I checked in my cabin had been changed to F3, again disappointed. My room didn’t have a table. I imagined that as I was in carriage F then I was a long way from the restaurant carriage. No one and no signs told me where the restaurant carriage was. I. Couldn’t open the waste bin, the toilet/ shower door would not close so was open all night. I opted for breakfast in the room in the end- very nice, but a struggle to eat without a table. On departure used arrivals lounge much more 1st class.
Overall it was ok, but fell short of my expectations.
The staff were excellent!!!!
