They sent me polyesta pilliow case instead of silk. It has been over a month and keep getting we are sorry and sorting it. They wont give refunds and customer service is poorest ove dealt with. Very dishonest company.

I saw an ad for Nucca pillows on YouTube that looked very compelling. Visited their website and saw they claimed to have 3,428+ 5 star reviews on TrustPilot. The website looks very professional and persuasive. I got ChatGPT to run a review on the legitimacy of this company and it's not good news.

Beware to anyone who may be tempted to order. I'm grateful I thought to check first. Comments on the YouTube short are switched off too. Here is what ChatGPT said about the company:

The biggest red flag is the reviews. The Nucca website says it has “3,428+ Verified 5-Star Reviews”. But Trustpilot currently has only 9 reviews, a score of 2.1/5, and Trustpilot actually flags that the company has been displaying Trustpilot content incorrectly. The reviews are overwhelmingly 1-star, with several customers saying the pillow received was cheap, arrived compressed in plastic rather than the advertised packaging, differed from the website photos, and was difficult to return.

There are other things that make me wary. The same essentially identical website appears under several domains, including sleepnucca.com, nuccasleep.com, nuccapillow.com and nuccasleepco.com, all repeating the same “Dr Marta Pérez”, clinical-development story and review count. The business identifies itself as BRAVUS STORM LLC in Florida, but the pillows are shipped from an unspecified “international fulfilment centre”, with UK delivery quoted at 12–21 working days. Its returns policy also says you don't get the return address until the return has been approved. That combination is very characteristic of a dropshipping business.

I'm also sceptical about the scientific dressing-up of it. Nucca says 9 cm is the clinically proven optimal pillow height, citing Pang et al. 2021. The cited paper is real, but it is a systematic review of different pillow designs. Its actual conclusions are much more nuanced: pillow shape and height can matter, and some types of pillow may help neck pain, but it doesn't establish “9 cm” as a universal medically optimal height for everybody. That's quite a leap in their marketing.

Trustpilot – is there anything you can do about companies lying about their TrustPilot reviews?

Complete scam. Cheap rubbish which can be bought for £10 each off Temu. Marketed as a premium boxed product but show up wrapped in cheap plastic. Awful chemical smell. Paid with PayPal & now I’m in a dispute. Was asked to send the pillows back for a refund. Luckily PayPal paid for the return after a lot of persuasion. I fully expect the package to go “missing” in transit or the scammers claim that they are not returned in acceptable condition. Have reported the YouTube ad & somehow they said that it complies with their policy & wont take the ad down. Disgraceful all round

It is a total scam. I received two pillows rolled up tight in plastic, no box. The pillows were nothing like those described on website. The foam is hard and not comfortable at all. The side wings are not the same placement or size. The fabric is cheap and did not have the quilted fabric as advertised. I emailed with photos the next day, was fobbed off and sent a feable response stating that they had changed the design - literally admitted the information on the website "had not been changed to reflect this - our bad". What?! They advised my photos and complaint would be dealt with. Two weeks, no response. I follow up and am told to be patient. Consumer Affairs should be involved as it is false advertising - do not be fooled.

it's a scam. the package is not as the website with the brand and when you try to return it. they can never issue the return lable so neither the refund.

Awful cheap pillow, cheap foam, scam company, took so long to arrive in a strange narrow box didn’t recognise what it was until it flopped out upon opening. Pointless attempting to send back, shameful marketing for those in pain. Please don’t waste your time.

Do not buy here, they are chinese scammers. Even communication goes threw a ia programme.
They send faulty products and refuse to send either a new pillow or refund money. It looks like it is an american company but its fully based in China. Iost my money and have no pillows. Never buy here!!!!

Terrible packaging. Website shown pictures of them in boxes and not wrapped in cheap Chinese plastic. Took over a month to get to me and they are complete rubbish. The silk pillowcase is long enough to be a sleeping bag for my child. They feel nasty and the memory foam still hasn’t settled after being unwrapped for the past day. DO NOT BUY. Says they have all these 5 star reviews - it’s all lies! Just like how they are based in Florida. Absolute garbage.

Selling fake products. Website looks to be made in Claude. From certain pages links like that for returns/refunds lead to a Claude log out page.
The products are not and do not come as advertised and they upsell further products that do not fit or are not needed for the products promoted. The thousands of reviews look to be a lie as well showing products that are not what they are delivering.

Their website falsely claims thousands of 5-star reviews on Trustpilot. Scam at worst, dishonest at best.

Saying in their website over 3000 5 star review on trust pilot. 0 review found in trust pilot. Pictures in the website are AI, and different customer happen to share the same photos experience or living in the same place.
