Absolutely shocking. The multiple reviews stating same issues. Good luck ordering batteries but you will find out the hard way. Also be wary the manager is extremely aggressive and abusive on the call. Contact citizens advice if any problems!
Purchased a pair of batteries from this company, after 2 months they needed replacing. I called out a mobility company to check my scooter as I thought there was something wrong with it, they tested the batteries and it was those that were causing the problem. I had to pay £220 for another set of batteries.
Bought a pair of mobility scooter batteries and they failed after 9 months. Contacted the company and they refused warranty saying they must be charged EVERY week without fail. Despite my protestations that they had never been left even partially discharged I was refused replacements. Poor quality and dreadful service. Best avoided
I ordered 2 12v12ah batteries for my father in law, for his Drive ST scooter. I placed the order on a Saturday afternoon, after reading the shop was closed on weekends I didn't expect delivery untill the Monday or Tuesday. But to my surprise they were delivered quite early the next day, on a Sunday!
Very easy to replace and good to go. My father in law took it straight out for a test drive.

Bought a battery charger from this company on September 11th 2022 now in December 2022 and the charger fails to charge. Waste of money on inferior product. Beware shoddy
Complete rubbish, failed after a month, swelling up and almost exploding.
I thought this was a good company until something went wrong and they just don't want to know. Spoke to a nasty woman called Charlotte who talked over me, told me what I had done (I hadn't) and was generally nasty to me and would not listen to anything I said. Apparently it was all my fault that the Gel batteries I bought were not working (even though it was one of the two batteries - both treated exactly the same - that appears to have a problem). She quoted the Quingo scooter manual (quoting the wrong pages etc) as evidence that I had done everything wrong. It was obvious from the start that she was not going to listen to me and I was going to get nowhere. The Gel batteries literally started going wrong after only a couple of months and would not even take me one round of a supermarket and they never gave me a full power readout on the scooter even when supposedly fully charged. Given up on it now and bought some batteries from a company from Tayna Batteries (not Gel batteries) and what a difference, Yes, they were more expensive but 12 days of use before needing charging so definitely worth going elsewhere. I so wish I hadn't gone to SLK such a waste of money and time I will never get back. SLK Batteries guarantee is not worth the paper its written on - I will be avoiding them like the plague.
I agree with every bad comment on here. I bought 2 x 22ah batteries 6 months ago. 3 times have just died on me when out after no more than 2 miles and needed to be picked up. Returned to slk who said I will be responsible for courier cost if they find nothing wrong. Guess what..? They found nothing wrong. The batteries are useless but now trying to say I’m stupid and there is nothing wrong with them. PLEASE do not buy from this company.
The only way that I can honestly see this company helping disabled people or anyone who depends on batteries for their safety is …… to close the company!

Disgusting service and scam company refusing to refund my money for the faulty goods they sent. I've personally tested these batteries against another pair bought from another company and these SLK ones do not work or charge. But all they keep claiming is the batteries work and that I can't have a refund and I need to pay £15 to get them returned to me even though they don't work. Scammers stay clear just look at all the other people's comments. This company should be closed down.
Awful! Bought 2x 50ah batteries from SLK on ebay. After only 4 months my scooter would die (but say they were still full). It was a problem with the amperage? Anyway I contacted them as they were under warranty. They stated I could send them back AT MY COST and if they were found to be defective they would replace them and cover the postage costs but if found to be not faulty then they would charge me the shipping costs and send them back to me! IT IS OBVIOUS TO ME THAT THEY WOULD SAY THEY ARE NOT FAULTY AND LAND ME WITH A LARGE SHIPPING BILL!!! They should belive customers why would we lie after a few months? We should not have to take a risk with costs! I WILL NEVER BUY SLK AGAIN!
Batteries died after 6 months. 12 months guarantee, but it took a lot of effort for them to send replacements. The replacements didn't work from the off. The company said this is very unusual and asked for the codes on the batteries. It has now gone mysteriously quiet. I had to replace the batteries from another company as, of course, these are for a MOBILITY scooter.My advice is not to buy from this company
Bought two for my scooter, both didn't last the month. Made contact but not helpful, how they expect people with mobility issues to sort there return. Had them tested by the engineer who services my scooter and both are duds. He says lots of his customers are having problems and are going to trading standards. Please avoid at all cost these are poor quality cheap batteries.

Purchased a new battery from their ebay shop, it was faulty and would not hold a charge.
Battery has a 1 year warranty but it’s worthless as they refuse to honour it.
They just blame the customer, and send condescending replies to any emails.
If you're expecting a replacement, refund or great customer service avoid shopping with SLK. I'm amongst others that have received faulty batteries through this companies Amazon page. Their batteries last around 3-4 months if you're lucky. When you contact them they don't want to know. Warranty is a joke as it doesn't exist. Customer service doesn't exist. The won't ever replace or refund. The physical shop is based in Hastings. Need to be reported to trading standards.
Cannot find any mention of a guarantee or even a warranty anywhere on their site. My batteries were bought 17th March 2022 and are useless. I cannot even do TWO MILES without them dying and stranding me. They should be good for about 10 to 12 miles but they are saying they are only light weight suitable for just going around a supermarket. WHAT FLAMING USE IS THAT SLK, WHEN WE CAN'T EVEN GET TO THE SUPERMARKET WITHOUT YOUR BATTERIES DYING? The returns policy is a disgrace and if they are connected and used you won't get a full refund. You have 14 days to return tehm and only if they have not been connected, you MIGHT get a full refund but even then they might take the postage costs off your refund. They need reporting to trading standards by everyone who has had trouble with this diabolical company

Having ordered 2 batteries for a mobility scooter for a disabled gentleman and having bought 5000 plus to fit repair last year alone I must say I've had nothing but absolute ball ache with SLK and the lady whom claims to be managing the company .
Tried to explain on first DHL their chosen method of delivery that the software had auto generated the wrong postcode our end not theirs mind so that turned into her having right go at me which I recorded fully mind. .. Next day after sorting out mishap which was software related we were told by DHL delivery was 101 on list .... SLK told me it's up to us to call the delivery ..... Um Nope contract lies with you maybe learn some basic customer laws rules and regs surrounding sales of goods act ...
Anyhow Drivers showed up as next 1936 hours ...Suddenly their system said error in live feed .... Suddenly after around 2 mins they were closed and parcel is at depot which if was on van would not have been at depot as it half hour away from our location
Anyhow messaged SLK Facebook email and phone to no avail as well as DHl whom I spoke to briefly and promised phone call back .... Never came ...so next day delivery off SLK mobility is a joke ...
Anyhow DHl have lost parcel it seems as cannot physically locate and show me it via photo or any means so fair to say it's gone ..
SLK I've had to go to credit card to get refunded as her aggressive manner was ..no refund until we get batteries back .... Absolute gem and really shows the company in a very unprofessional manner ...
My order number if she reads which I doubt as too arrogant to talk and hung up accusing me of being loud on phone when she was talking over me mind aggressively In defensive manner .
Customers are always right in our or any business dear ... Try remember that and maybe learn some manners in conflict management training ....will help with the I'm better than you attitude to ...
