Lovely and spacious house with equipped high quality fittings and furniture, you would need for a weeks holiday.

The Arches is so lovely. Ideally situated to walk to the beautiful beach at Low Newton and to explore the surrounding countryside. It’s spacious and clean with very good amenities for a family holiday.
Our 3rd stay and I’m sure we will be back soon .

We had a wonderful stay at Ingram. Great location and very comfortable property. Very tastefully furnished. Beds very comfortable and towels and bedding luxurious.

Garden lovely and very easy parking. We were two couples with two cars and found the cottage plenty large enough.

Especially useful was the fact there was plentiful crockery and cutlery 12 mugs!

Another perfect stay at The Arches, our 3rd visit. Upon arrival, the cottage was so clean and spare bedding and towels provided. Cottage was very well equipped, large rooms and home from home. The Arches is just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful coast, fabulous walks and castles on the doorstep, and so much to do in the area. We love stopping in Smallburn Cottages.

Our second visit to this lovely dog friendly, spacious and luxurious holiday home. Scrupulously clean with everything you need for the perfect stay. We like to cook and the kitchen is well equipped but there are 2 pubs close by if you'd rather eat out. We loved the short walk to beach, and the Ship Inn, where the view of Dunstanburgh Castle is stunning. Perfectly situated for exploring all of the wonderful beaches and everything that Northumberland has to offer.

The property is ideal for family get together. Spacious and modern and in a great spot. The pooches also enjoyed it. Already booked again for next year.

We stopped in Lynecroft, Embleton. This holiday cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Northumberland and its glorious coastline. The cottage itself has been beautifully thought out in its design and fittings. The bedrooms are spacious, have comfortable beds, pillows and excellent quality linen and furnishings. It sleeps 6 people and importantly has the seating in the lounge, dining room and outdoor for all 6 people. Again, all the seating is high quality and comfortable. It is the type of holiday home that, if you wish, you can stay in all day relaxing without having to go anywhere. For pet owners you can rest easy that both the front and rear of the garden is very secure without any escape routes, well none our Terrier could find. The back garden is a lovely large garden with shady options for the pets. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the back garden in the sunshine with my morning cuppa on Sunday morning listening to the church bells from the beautiful ancient church jusy yards from the back garden gate.

We loved our stay at Ingram and we also had the next door cottage breamish both are immaculate and in a fantastic location we had a fantastic week and definitely want to come back and stay at this cottage highly recommend

The location of the property was ideal. The facilities were also a very good standard. To get to a five star rating a more comfortable bed and sofa, a bbq and a view of the landscape, but this would not stop us returning or recommending to others. We also had memories of the Joiners Arms being a better pub in the past and would have had more meals there but found it underwhelming.

Great location for walking north to Beadnell or South to Craster. The Joiners Arms is fab for food.
Spacious cottage/rooms. Bathrooms well appointed. Huge TV, great parking. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Responsive host; issue with boiler sorted within hours. Our second visit. The mattresses are wonderful (Hypnos) always guaranteed great sleep, rest, recuperation. 😍

Love the house - it's always spotlessly clean when we arrive! The rooms are light and airy and there's plenty of space. There's everything you need in the house - I think the owners have thought of just about everything!

The gardens are secure so the dogs can have a mooch around and I don't need to worry about them being safe.

Embleton is very central for many places in Northumberland yet it's peaceful and a beautiful place to be and has the most. fabulous beach and coastal walks.

We feel privileged to have stayed and even though was our 3rd visit I'm always sad to leave.

The Arches is a modern, clean cottage with good facilities. We like the secure garden for our dog and car.
It is within easy reach of the beautiful beaches and the historic places of interest.
We like that it is adjacent to the Joiner’s Arms, a nice place to eat which is also dog friendly. Despite its proximity there is no noise.
It has a downstairs bedroom which is suitable for a disabled or elderly person.
We are always comfortable there and visit every year.

We stayed at Lynecroft and had a really good time. Helped by unusually great weather but that made us appreciate just how flexible the cottage is. Really liked the privacy and the large enclosed garden, ideal for our dog. The cottage is very well furnished and the customer service by the team excellent. Very close to the Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel (great food) and the Greys inn and Golf club. Very pleasant walk to the beach. nWe booked 2 further weeks whilst there.

Very spacious and clean with everything you need for your holidays. Pity the local pub has stopped serving food but there are 3 places a short walk or drive away to eat in Embleton

A wonderful holiday home in a fantastic location. Ideally situated, Lynecroft provided a warm and comfortable home after a day out. It is the reason we regularly return and only consider Lynecroft as it provides everything one could need

This is an amazing house in a beautiful area. The house is fully equipped and is light, bright and very modern. The surrounding area is stunning with amazing beach walks and beautiful countryside. We will definitely be back.

On a cold winters afternoon arrived at a lovely warm cosy cottage with a beautiful welcome pack with little treats for our two little Granddaughters.
This cottage was immaculate, very well equipped with beautiful bed linen and towels too …

We went for the week around New Year so obviously the weather wasn’t the best but it would be an easy walk to Embleton if nice weather. Small but safe Garden for the dogs.

Stayed in the Ingram for 3 nights and it was absolutely fantastic, very high standard of accommodation, spotlessly clean and in a great location for exploring the surrounding area. Will definitely be back hopefully for longer… 5 ⭐️’s

We have stopped at The Arches before in 2019, we were a little worried that visiting again 5 years later would mean the condition of the property would have deteriorated but we needed of not worried. The Arches has been looked after remarkably and is as clean and well presented/looked after than when we visited in 2019.
