Amazing Quality

I love the frames and their quality. I like that I can do different sizes and colors. The process is easy and the delivery is reasonably quick. The price is great for the product and its quality. The staff is responsive and friendly when asking questions about orders. Have been using them for years now and will continue to purchase. A great company.

Exceptional customer service

By no fault of Smallwoods - my package arrived pretty beat up and it left my print that I ordered dented. Smallwoods was so kind and quickly fixed the issue - sending me a new print in absolute perfect condition. The new order arrived in a very timely manner and is going to look beautiful in our house.

I didn’t like one of the prints that …

I didn’t like one of the prints that had made and contacted Smallwood asking if I could order the same size, but different picture. I told them I wasn’t happy with it, but that had nothing to do with their quality. They sent me a proof of the new photo and how it’d look on the canvas and were so kind and helpful. As soon as I paid the invoice, it was printed and set aside for shipping. Amazing customer service!!

Picture not shipped

My picture got put on hold for being blurry but no one called to tell me. I called to ask why my picture hadn’t been sent (since I had paid extra to have it shipped within 48hours). Once I sent the new picture they said it was great quality and they would get on it. Another week and half went by and it still hadn’t been shipped. I kept calling and they kept saying it will be shipped soon. Until I talked to one girl who was super helpful and said your picture has been put on hold again with no reason. So my picture was just sitting there, for no reason not being shipped out. She resent the warehouse my picture and they had it mailed out within 24hours. If I wouldn’t have called over and over my picture would still be sitting there. Someone majorly dropped the ball in this situation. I hope they look into it so this doesn’t happen to someone else.

I’ve spent $400 the last couple of…

I’ve spent $400 the last couple of months and Smallwoods will not make this right. Two frames came in as the wrong size. I thought maybe it was me ordering late night tired. Turns out, it’s their website switching then sizes for some reason. I went through the trouble of sending them back, and reordering. They covrred shipping but all i was received was a $23 credit for the $94 order I placed. Somehow I ened up paying MORE for the second order, only for them to be the incorrect size, again. I contacted support and they are not helpful. Did this company get bought or soemthing?? This has been the worst and I’ll not return after all of this.

Terrible quality of photos

Terrible quality of photos, extremely blurry. Customer service said it was because I got the smaller options and photos aren’t meant to be looked at up close but from afar. Faces were very washed out. I am very disappointed in the prints and also the lack of customer service.

Absolutely love my photo!!

Absolutely love my photo!!! I’ve been wanting it for a while now and I finally bought it. It is everything I wanted! Customer service was quick and easy to work with when I was concerned that I placed my order correctly! Shipping was INCREDIBLY fast and I live in the middle of literal nowhere!!

Awesome company!

The personal touch with the staff is incredible! You don't talk to a machine, you get contact with a person that is incredibly helpful! They make sure your picture works well for the end product. The framed canvas is awesome quality. I have several in my home! the website is easy and the price is just right. I highly recommend this company. My daughter recommended them to me after they made many canvas prints of their wedding day.

Lack of customer service and quality

I have ordered several prints from Smallwood in the past so I was alarmed by the lack of customer service concern I received when ordering this time. I ordered a 16x16 print for which came and is actually larger than 17x17. I reached out to customer service and was told it goes by the photo and can vary although their website says 16x16. Also, the photo was 15x15 that they printed and made the frame larger than 17x17 when a 16x16 was ordered. This item is falsely advertised and does not match my previous 16x16 print. Also I went through my house and measured my other frames which are not consistently the size as advertised either. Customer service basically wrote me off and offered me a credit if I send it back but I am not going to order again because it would be the wrong product again. Very disappointed in quality and customer service. Definitely will not be back.

We understand how frustrating it can be when you’re trying to match existing frames, and the sizing feels inconsistent. Our 16x16 frames are sized based on the print area, and the overall exterior measurement includes the frame moulding, which adds additional width around the print. This sizing structure has remained consistent with our company since the launch of that size product.

We requested photos of the previous frame so we could compare measurements and determine whether it may have been a different size, a custom size order, or possibly from another company, but we did not receive that information. In some cases, if a frame was purchased from another retailer, measurements may differ by company. If that’s the situation, our custom size team is happy to build a frame to your exact specifications to ensure everything matches the way you need it to.

I initially would have given this…

I initially would have given this product a 5, however over time the frames have changed when hanging on our wall. The frames have warped sticking almost a good inch out from the wall. When contacted to discuss options they offer no warranty except shortly after receiving the product. This is happening to our other frames as well. The amount of money spent and to have this happen to all of the frames is very disheartening. I would order more, but this is a definite turnaway from this product.

The canvases are beautiful!

This is my 4th but certainly not my final order from Smallwood. I have had photos from beach vacations, Yellowstone and now the grandchildren converted to canvas. The quality is amazing. I can’t wait to hang these tomorrow!

Bringing our loss back to life 🙏🏽🥺

I just wanted to take a moment to truly thank you for the beautiful framed prints I ordered. After the devastating loss of my soul dog, I was searching for a way to keep his presence alive in our home — especially in his favorite room, where he loved sitting on the couch and looking out the window.

The way these pictures are displayed overlooking that very window is nothing short of magical. It honestly feels like he’s jumping out of the frames and back into his spot, watching the world go by like he always did. You’ve given me something so incredibly special — a sense of comfort and connection that I know I needed so much. We lost him just under a month ago and we have been completely lost without him.

Thank you for helping bring a piece of my golden baby back to life in our home. Your work means more to me than words can fully express. I hope to order more from your company in the future to capture more memories of our sweet Nike Don❤️

Buyer beware!

I am very disappointed in my recent order received from Smallwoods. I ordered two 24 x 36 framed pictures. Both pictures that were delivered were greatly underexposed, pixelated, and the color balance was very magenta and orange… completely different than the uploaded images that I submitted to have printed. I’m a longtime customer with this company and have always been happy with my prints, so I reached out to them about the issue explaining that this must have been a printing error with this order since these were so discolored. The customer service representatives offered no solution and basically told me “too bad.” These products are very expensive and for their quality to not even be consistent is ridiculous. Both of my pieces were from two separate locations and had different subjects, so it wasn’t an issue with the original images themselves. Both images were properly exposed and the color balance was correct on the uploaded images, so Smallwoods’ printing process is at fault since both of the pieces had the same issue. After reviewing a lot of other customer reviews from the timeframe that I ordered, apparently this is a huge problem for a lot of people so BUYER BEWARE! This was an error on their part and they’re refusing to make it right for me as a customer. As a professional photographer, I will no longer be recommending Smallwoods products to my clients and will be encouraging them to go with other companies that will guarantee customer satisfaction and will deliver quality images.

These frames are super expensive

These frames are super expensive. When we got them one was warped and now after three months 3 are warped. They don’t lay flat on the wall. The company said this is normal…. Save your money.

Smallwood always provides quality framing and canvases. We have been ordering from them for a couple years now and they never disappoint. If the picture quality is not what you expected, their customer service is very cooperative and accommodating to be sure you are satisfied with your orders. Shipping came on time without damage to the pictures as well. Highly recommend this company!
