I was surprised that I needed to submit photos before an engineer visit could be authorised. But, once done, the visit was arranged promptly and the fault has been fixed.

Katherine Hayes was my case manager and she kept in touch re every stage of my claim for my broken dishwasher. It was fixed within a week of reporting it and she has assured me of my ongoing rights and cover in case it ever happens again.

Wouldn't even give this a 1 star but cannot go down any further.
I have home emergency and boiler cover with this company and my heating / hot water went off last night. I called the 24/7 helpline and got answer machine / voicemail at 7pm.
No phonecall back, nothing until 8.45am the next morning.
Totally unacceptable, I have my 85 year old mother living with me. Just thankful the weather was not too cold or I dread to think. Had to bundle her up in blankets as it was. Cover cancelled, will find another company that actually fulfills its obligations.
Oh and phonecall at 8.45 was a foreign person who would not speak to me unless I gave him my policy number and date of birth?? Ridiculous, my policy number was left on the voicemail!! AVOID THIS COMPANY
Katherine was extremely helpful and followed up after the problem was resolved in a timely manner. She offered a good customer service.

The customer service team are kind and knowledgeable . I spoke to Steve and 2 other colleagues. The engineer who was sent was excellent and the problem with the boiler was because of the engineer at my previous insurance cover , Corgi boiler cover had not done the most basic service requirement. The problem now is because of poor service at Corgi boiler maintenance insurance

Overall I was happy with the service but I would have liked to be kept informed of the engineer’s attendance rather than having to chase it up on couple of occasions. However, once the engineer came he was very good and polite and I can’t fault him at all

Was very happy with the boiler engineer they sent to do my annual boiler service , James Peter, the claims handler for my boiler service from Assuranty, who are the service provider for Smart Cover made sure this was done without myself having to do anything, which took away any pressure.

After the first report they visited within 3 hours and got the boiler working but was left with a leak which at the time they refused to fix i complained to a manager and they decided then to honour the repair once they agreed to honour it the part was ordered and fitted after a week . I would recommend the company but be prepared to have to fight ur case

My emergency blocked drains was made easy with David guiding me every step of the way and made sure the contractor was with me in four hours after my claim was logged
David also called me back to make sure that I was happy and that the work was done satisfactory and I will be recommending the company to my friends

Supportive staff.
I called to claim for a blocked drain, but was told that the insurance I took was for emergencies.
As a good gesture, David Williams was kind enough to support me with the cover, as I was very upset that I had taken the wrong insurance cover. He promised to get an engineer to sort the drain issue for me

The person who dealt with our claim was Katherine Hayes. We made the claim on-line on Sunday afternoon and the whole job was completed by Tuesday afternoon. Katherine dealt with out initial contact in an excellent and professional manner. The claim was approved quickly (by Monday mid-morning) and an engineer got in touch on Monday evening to make arrangements to visit on Tuesday and deal with the problem.
