Appalling.

Appalling.
Placed an order and supplied all of the information as requested.
Received an update via mail every week or so (order is in lab, lenses being prepared, etc) so didn't worry too much. A month later I contacted their customer service to ask for a delivery date and was told that they needed my prescription (which I'd already sent wen placing the order) before they could do anything. This means the mails they sent (and will send you) are generic and have nothing to do with your specific order.

I'm now a month down the line and need to place my order elsewhere...

Don't waste your time with them.

I never received my order..

After month from order the status was still "order confirmed - item not in stock, waiting for resupply". When I asked delivery schedule the answer was: "Though your item is still confirmed as available by our supplier, we currently are unable to give a time frame. If you wish to wait we will continue pushing our supplier and inform you by email once we receive an update." I think that this type of selling is not acceptable, seller should know that the item they sell are available, when they confirm order...

Good service, no scam

I bought a Ray-Ban yesterday (17.03.2015) from their web site. It was saying "During the next 24 hours we will send send your order by DHL and you will get a tracking number in your email." Now it is more than 24 hours and I do not have a tracking number. Okay, it has not been the second day yet, but here is the thing. Page of the sunglasses I bought now says "FREE Shipping - 5-11 business days", yesterday it was "in 24 hours". I wonder if that applies to me as well. As others say, their customer service is not reachable. I am going to cancel my credit card order from the bank if I do not receive the tracking number today and I will spend next weekend writing about my experience in every possible review page. I do not have time for this kind of scams.

Update 1: My glasses are dispatched from Italy yesterday. It was not in 24 hours as promised but this is something. Estimated arrival is 19 March, so it is today / or latest tomorrow.

Update 2: They responded my mail and told me that item was dispatched 7 hours after my order. Generating the tracking number was the time consuming(?) process.

Update 3: Glasses were delivered yesterday. (19.03.2015) They are original and exact same item I bought.

Final: They have excellent service except late arriving e-mails. I purchased sunglasses for 169€, it was sold for 230€ in the stores. I recommend SmartBuyGlasses.

New glasses

I was very satisfied for the quality of the product. I ordered my glasses with essilor lenses and they are really good. Delivery time to Finland was 20 days. I expected that I would get the glasses earlier, but at least they arrived finally.

Positive shopping experience

I ordered two pairs of Carrera sunglasses couple of weeks ago.
First-ones were shipped in approx 9 days via TNT and it took only 2 days from Italy to Finland.
Second-ones were delayed by the distributor (I guess) and after 11 days I got a possibility to change my order or keep waiting with 5% extra discount.
The very next day (Friday) I got a message that my glasses were shipped from Hong Kong via DHL and I received 'em on Monday.

Both of the glasses seems to be authentic and I received them within a reasonable time.

Avoid!

I ordered Italy made Raybans, received china made glasses from Hongkong valued 13 euros. I tried to return and get refund. After four attemps to contact company in every wayI gave up and felt stupid. Lots of promises about good service, You are going to get just automatic answers. Miserable experience. Not again.

(Yes, I found out that Rayban has also factory in China, but You cant return products for this company, that is a problem)

Sunglasses needed to be backordered - suggested I cancel the order after a months' wait

Not very good experiences with this company. The site said the product would be shipped in 5-11 days, but right after 11 days, I got an automated email telling me the product is backordered. The order tracking system is useless as it kept changing the order status randomly between "Backordered" and "Approved & In Processing", giving me false hope that some day I'd actually receive my sunglasses.

The only good thing about this company was the email support. I received an answer to all of my emails within ~24 hours, telling me that the product is still actually backordered and not about to be shipped any time soon. In their latest response they suggested me that I order a different pair of sunglasses or cancel my order due to the prolonged waiting time.

There goes a month of my life, for nothing. I'll cancel my order today. I hope I'll find a pair of sunglasses before the short summer of Finland is over..

My suggestion to anyone considering of ordering from this place - email them before you make your order and ask them if they need to backorder the product. I'd also be a bit sceptical if they add the mantra "Please get back to us at your earliest convenience as our stock levels change rapidly." -This kind of gives me the feeling that right after I've placed my order, they'll say "oops, you've just missed the last pair! bad luck, now we have no choise but to backorder your product".
