Smartutor provides structured online maths programmes for children in Year 5 and Year 6 across the UK. Created by experienced primary school teachers, our programmes are designed to give children regular, focused maths practice at home while building confidence and strengthening key skills. Each programme combines high-quality, full-colour workbooks with supporting online videos, giving children clear explanations and activities they can work through throughout the week. Our structured approach helps children practise important areas of the Year 5 and Year 6 maths curriculum, including topics covered within SATs-style assessments. We offer three levels of support: Essentials, Group and Premium, allowing families to choose the programme that best suits their child’s needs. Our aim is simple: to make maths practice structured, supportive and manageable for children and parents. Smartutor is based in the UK and was created by primary teachers who understand the challenges children can face as they approach the end of primary school.

Mr Coleman taught Nancy two years ago, and to this day he remains her ultimate favourite teacher.

He was incredibly patient, understanding and supportive, especially in the areas Nancy found particularly challenging. He always took the time to understand her as an individual (football fan), build her confidence and encourage her when things felt difficult.

It’s teachers like Mr Coleman who make such a lasting impression on children. Nancy still talks about him now and remembers him with such fondness. We are so grateful for the kindness, patience and encouragement he showed her during such an important stage of her education.

A truly wonderful teacher who went above and beyond — we couldn’t recommend him highly enough! 💙
