I had a fault on an acoustic kettle that was only 1 years old. I called the Smeg customer service and spoke with just the nicest person called Michelle. Nothing was too much trouble and she was an absolute delight to speak to. She sorted everything in super quick time. What a classy service! Never had to send anything back to Smeg before but wow was it easy!!
Great products, great service and great customer service representatives. Just brilliant all round!

I would’ve given 5 stars if it weren’t for the misleading ‘option 1’ on email instruction which turned out to be wrong, that said when I was put through to Louise she was really helpful, polite and professional indeed, everything I needed to know about a return/replacement was dealt with very well indeed so well done.

The Customer care support (Charlotte) was very helpful and efficient. Just a shame that SMEG's repair contractor Autowash was not up to the same standard. However, Charlotte was proactive in resolving the issue.

I had an issue with my Smeg blender. I was sent a link to complete with all the details. 10minutes later I was advised replacement was being sent. Great customer service.

Emailed smeg uk regarding my 28 cm frying pan falling apart got no reply , I called and spoke to Joslyn who told me the had the email and photos of the frying pan?? Why didn’t they do anything they had my full name address and phone number !! I asked her if the can repair or replace she said she will speak to her technical team I think she said ?! That was a week ago I have it in writing from smeg uk that the pans DO have a life time warranty however they do there up most to do nothing !!! If they don’t sort this out asap I will go to trading standards!! NG317GG

We have a SMEG oven chosen for its large capacity.
Just recently the oven bulb went. No problem I thought just change the bulb.
Not so the bulb and holder are a complete unit. The oven has to be removed from its under counter siting.
The top and side plates unscrewed and the assembly replaced.
Fitting the new bulb holder assembly took about 5 minutes, dismantling the oven 45 minutes. Luckily I’m able and competent to do this otherwise it’s an engineer job at maybe £150 plus.
This is our second poor experience with SMEG and won’t be buying again.

Michelle was fantastic—I’d happily give her 5 stars on a separate post. Unfortunately, my experience with the rest of SMEG’s customer service has been absolutely appalling. The engineer who visited my home claimed nothing was wrong, deflecting responsibility and blaming the customer instead.
I’ve had ongoing issues with my microwave, and the engineer dismissed them as “normal hot spots.” My oven has been leaking water, yet SMEG seems to insist it’s my fault. Even after repeatedly requesting a replacement, they sent an email denying liability and stating that if it happens again, they won’t take any action.
I’ve faced numerous problems with all my SMEG appliances in my new home, and I would not recommend them to anyone—seriously, steer clear.
Michelle, however, was a completely different experience. She treated me with respect and resolved my issue within five minutes. Truly a standout in an otherwise frustrating experience
