A really good experience

Really great customer service.
It took about two weeks from consultation to get the aligners. They fit fine and all good so far.
The materials and kit are good.
The app needs a little refinement but it's a newish company so that's only to be expected.
Overall a really good experience for me.

Awful do not bother..

Oh my god..i can't believe all the reviews say the same thing on 1) no customer care2)poor if any support 3) not much in person/online support 4) so slow to reply or wait for replacement aligners or retainers. All they tell you at end is not told to you in the beginning where you have to subscribe to keep them straight. I was priced 1800 for top an bottom. Then once they got my money they said i wasnt having the bottom done. It would effect my bite . I said how did they not know that on pricing and checking all. They were not given me anything back amd when i kicked up they said they giv me a water flosser ( which i had bought off them ) and a year free retainer. ( no mention of 6 mths) a teeth whitener . i refused the flosser so i then got 100e off ..they didnt upload my pics, then said i didnt send them. I offered to pay for no 17 and 18 as they only gave me 16 for my top which i had said from day one would not be enough. They then wanted to charge 500 to add on aligners , it was all stress and a joke. I asked them why do i send pictures if we get no feedback good or bad from them ..they dont support or care. Take ages to reply and to long to send all out. Do not do it , save up , get proper braces or just try else where. My teeth are straighter but not as they told me they be..the whole process is awful. Stay away.

Single arch treatment works out to be €200.00 cheaper than dual arch, which I can see has been applied to your payment plan. As a goodwill, the Smilelife team also offered you a SmileCare subscription priced at €197.00.

We have offered to have you come in to our clinic to have your case assessed with our dental team, but unfortunately you have declined. In saying this, we would still love to have your case assessed and go from there. Please check your emails and we can from there!

Waste of money

Waste of money. I took really good care and was so conscious of wearing my aligner! However, teeth have moved back to how they were before … A grand I’ll never get back! People were lovely but slow at responding and getting appointments in the actual orthodontist I was told I had to wait a very long time..
Not happy at all and wouldn’t recommend them

Money racket and waste of time! Customer service even worse.. girl cared more about being right than having a little bit of empathy for what I had to say! Anything I was told on the initial consultation is nothing like what the girl went through yesterday. So for that I still stand by, it’s a waste of money and I’d never recommend anyone and that won’t change a thing! Just like the girl said on our call “there’s no point going back and forth” as soon as I opened my mouth about my emails! So that’s the only thing we can agree on. Oh and great advice, keep letting your gums bleed using IPR it’s okay 👍🏼

I can see a member of our support team had been in touch a few months ago and unfortunately received no response from you. As with any orthodontic treatment it is extremely important that you wear a retainer after you complete your SmileLife treatment to ensure your teeth do not go back to your original position.

We had notified the e-mail address attached to your account about our SmileCare offering on October 11th, which according to our records, the e-mail address has been opened approximately 7 times now,

You also failed to upload any of your 30-day check-in photos since October 2021 - which means we have no way of tracking your progress. Thus, your SmileGuarantee has now voided.

Management and our dental team have since reviewed and assessed your case in a bid to try and find a resolution.

Good communicators until you’ve finished and poor quality materials

I had been really impressed with SmileLife until I got towards the end of my treatment. Communication became poor, any questions I had were slow to be answered and I discovered the hidden costs of the retainers and aftercare. Something which hadn’t been explained from the start.

The last aligner I used broke easily, meaning that my teeth hadn’t straightened properly. Did they care? No. There would have been additional costs for a replacement aligner, even though it was the quality of the product that was at fault. Therefore, my teeth aren’t actually straight - rather defeating the point of the costly exercise.

I didn’t ever receive a full program of treatment and the miniature ‘saws’ they provided have left a gap in between my front teeth that wasn’t there originally - they didn’t seem to care about it when I mentioned it on a phone call.

I wouldn’t recommend using this company. Go with Invisalign or something more established.

I will probably get proper braces in a year or two and do the job properly.

Also, as an aside, I left a comment on their Instagram post and it was deleted. I never trust companies that do that.

I am so happy with the service…

I am so happy with the service provided. Every member of staff that I have spoke to/ dealt with have been amazing, friendly and helpful.

It has been such an easy enjoyable process, all done from the comfort of my own home.

There were one to two tweaks needed after my final set of retainers, and after attending a consultation at their premises in Dublin, I was reassured and further treatment has been given . I am really looking forward to seeing the final results .

So happy with this service.

I am very happy with my smile life…

I am very happy with my smile life results. Whole process was very easy to follow and complete.
Only mprovement I would suggest is to their app. The app often didn't work and wasn't very easy to navigate. Also, I had to contact them near the end of my treatment to ensure I got the retainers. A consultation should be given near the end to ensure retainers required and ordered on time.
All in all delighted with my results for such short treatment and without any teeth removal etc..
I am no longer embarrassed to smile for photos 😁😁

At the start of my an the team were…

At the start of my an the team were helpful. All my religners had to be replaced because of sharp edges and poor fitting. I asked for an end of plan assessment and was told to wear the last set for another 4 weeks. Now they have told me my plan is finished even though my teeth are NOT aligned as per the 3D model. If I want any further treatment I should BUY the advanced plan. I was also never told initially that would have to purchase retainers at the end of your plan, which are expensive. Not much of a saving co.pared to standard braces and company are stating I failed to upload all my photos and my guarantee is void, even though my plan is not complete. Very disingenuous. I would not recommend this company.

I do not agree with your reply Smilelife, I have not started my guarantee as I have NOT completed my plan as I had to reorder aligners because my teeth were not aligned as per your 3D scan and plan for me. You seem to take peoples money at the start but then find some invalid excuse to stop their plan ( as per other unsatisfied customers have testified too on this site and on FB)
You promise Results Guaranteed and you will provide free aligners until the customer is Happy, well I am not happy and my results are not guaranteed

Felt cheated by Smile Guarantee

Felt like they conspired to make me default on the Smile Guarantee the app didnt allow me to upload photos at first. Despite admitting a fault with the app they then said because my photos werent uploaded the guarantee was void. I then complained and sent the photos Id taken and the complaint was not upheald. The agents were nice but this company charges for replacements and so it ends up being more expensive than the competitors.

Good product, good team but poor logistics and website

Good experience overall but might need some improvements. Teams are quite knowledgeable even though a bit too much sales oriented. Tried to sell me a 500 eur super treatment at the end, which was not really needed.

Bad point on the end of treatment process. No one reaches out to you. You have to contact them and tell them that you want the retainer(200 eur per year), which takes 16 business days (!) to be produced and delivered. You’re supposed to stay on your last aligner until you received it. Their only solution is to switch to the previous aligner…

How can it take that long? It should be taken into account and have additional “last set of braces” being delivered just in case. There must be a way to have them produced faster.

Ordered IPR kits but got delivered twice a home dental impression, very strange. Fast delivery though.

Website should be built better and let you access to your treatment and the store, not just from an app. It should be much easier to find the store which sadly lacks the Most basics functions of an e-commerce website. You can’t even download an invoice, can’t sign in to your account 🙁.

At the end of the day, the company looks very much oriented toward customer acquisition which is fair, but at the end of the day: retainers make users lifetime customers .

We do not print our retainers in advance as customers may opt to get dental bonding or fillings post-treatment, and this would change the shape of their teeth, We always aim to get the retainers out to you as soon as we possibly can.

Amazing!

I've finished my treatment with smilelife and I'm so happy with the result! Can't believe it took me so long to fix my teeth when it was this easy.
Apart from being so happy with my teeth I have to say that the service I received along the way and afterwards with the aftercare package was nothing short of amazing! The customer service staff are really very helpful and couldn't recommend them more. Fair play to you all

Don’t waste your time and money.

I used this product as guided for 10 months. I have one crooked tooth and the rest are pretty straight; and in this time there’s been little to no change. After speaking with a dentist (face to face) who is a professional in preforming clear braces teeth straightening I was told that the technique used by SmileLife does not include many other aspects that clear braces need to do for proper results - there’s supposed to be more to it than just aligners. They just push the teeth around and hope for the best. There’s a reason they’re cheap - don’t waste your time and money… They also ask for a review after one week so be cautious of good reviews.

- Undergo your prescribed IPR treatment plan.
- Ensure you are checking-in, by uploading your 5 photos to your SmileLife App (Failure to do this will invalidate your Smile Guarantee)

Straightforward and clear process
