Great experience with this company. We received expert advice and ideas from Alex on the design of our door. Correspondence with both Alex and Maxine was polite and prompt. The fitters were on time, polite and tidy, and made a totally professional job of fitting our new front door, which is of the highest quality and looks fabulous on our barn conversion.

New kitchen door installed
We recently had a new kitchen door fitted, which we are thrilled with. The quality and finish is excellent and the installers did a really good job of tidying everything up afterwards. Definitely a business to recommend if you're thinking about a joinery project, the whole process was very smooth from start to finish.

Bespoke Garage Doors
We recently had bespoke garage doors fitted to the front and the rear, the quality of the product and the subsequent fitment are both of a very high standard. The office communicates with you well, I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for that superior all round experience.

Excellent company to deal with. Maxine and Alex are very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Great product. Bought 50+ sash windows, external shutters and gates. House has superb kerb appeal, is significantly warmer and is transformed.

Bespoke Gothic Front Door
I am absolutely thrilled with my bespoke gothic front door. It’s actually surpassed all expectations and truly sets off my new oak framed porch.
The service from start to finish has been exemplary. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who recognises good quality, bespoke products.

Bespoke at its best.
We received excellent service from start to finish. The superb bespoke craftsmanship and attention to detail in our box sash windows was very impressive, particularly as nothing is straight in our 19th century cottage. Everyone we came into contact with on the team were extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. We cannot praise Smith & Chambers enough and would recommend them unreservedly.

Wonderful example of British craftsmanship
This is a wonderful example of British craftsmanship - we have had beautiful new windows and a door fitted after visiting the factory and seen the manufacturing in situ. Excellent customer service and highly skilled fitters. Highly recommended.

Excellent Quality craftsmanship is still alive!
Very good gates are excellent to deal with. Quality bespoke gates / doors.
The company spent what ever time we needed to choose the right gate, material and finish we wanted.
Excellent choice in materials and finishes.
We are very pleased with the gate we have and should see us out lol, provided we look after it of course!
Before you say it yes bespoke doesn't come cheap, but neither does quality and security.

Beautiful Windows & Doors
Exceptional craftsmanship and efficient & pleasant service. Delighted with all 22 windows and 3 doors.
I used independent fitters who were excellent but if I were to do it again I would use S&C ones as inevitably a few things fell between the cracks.

Fantastic service from Alex and his team from first point of contact right through to fitting. My new french door section is fantastic and the level of finishing is first class. We’ve just had the most wonderful experience start-to-finish with the team from Smith & Chambers. Our gorgeous Accoya timber window installation finished yesterday—we love them! Oak Gates
Smith & Chambers designed and manufactured two Oak five bar gates. They were manufactured to a great standard and the finish of the oak was beautiful. Maxine was very helpful I supplied the height and width of the gates and she prepared a drawing with the proposed sizes of the timbers to be used.
Any questions were also answered promptly and the gates were delivered in the agreed timeframe. I would not hesitate to recommend Smith and Chambers.
