We visited Smiths furniture store yesterday and from the start we had a very friendly and positive experience. Paul took the time to explain everything about the furniture that we were interested in.We are now looking forward to our new furniture being delivered. All in all a very nice shop. High standards all round - excellent products and excellent service.

This is such a lovely shop. John was very patient and let us look at all the beds with no pressurised sales which we liked. The prices were clearly marked and we chose one which was comfortable for us within our budget. We liked that there was a good choice of beds with natural fillings which we were looking for. Thank you.

Justine’s customer service has been excellent.
As we live quite a distance from the store she really went the extra mile photographing fabric to help us make the right decision.
Her attention to detail, help in confirming our order and very friendly and prompt service by phone and email are first class. We look forward to visiting the store to pick up our order.

I was greeted by Paul & he walked me through the process of buying a sofa He came over as very knowledgeable & honest.
The store is full of quality whatever you are looking for we soon found what we wanted that was easy and our new sofa was delivered yesterday improving on the estimated delivery time. The delivery team was like the store professional it was put together and set up for us in no time with all packaging collected up and taken away. My Wife and I are over the moon with our new sofa and a store that we will always visit first in the future.

Phoned up to discuss the Lazyboy chair. Sales guy knew exactly what I wanted to know and was very helpful. This was the first time I had dealt with this company and my initial impressions were positive which was important as I had gone via their website- reassuring to speak to a human being and not AI slop.

I contacted Smiths of Harrogate by email looking for a Harrisson Spinks mattress, received a quote and what followed next was a highly professional order processing with all relevant paper work. The peak of the process was the way the warehouse team prepared the mattress for a long journey: the team put together a custom made long pallet 🥰👍, the mattress went into a cardboard box and a couple of layers of poly...it arrived more than safe on its destination. a massive thank you guys for showing your respect both for the product you sell as well as for the customer. it is a level of service that one expects from a shop selling mattresses from a producer who has been voted bed manufacturer of the year. thank you oliver & staff

Contacted Smiths by email as the furniture I wanted G plan 59 wasn't available in Glasgow. They promptly got back with a pleasant email from Paul Irwin. We went down to Harrogate this weekend for a visit and to try the furniture. All staff
there were great. No pushy nonsense just help when you wanted it.
We worked in the main with Paul to test and buy the furniture we fancied, visiting twice over the course of the weekend. He was
knowlegable, efficient and good company. Smiths really were worth
the trip. They are a family owned
company with genuine old style
professionalism at its heart which
seems all too absent thesedays. I'm
not an old fogey harking back to the good old days etc just someone who
appreciates knowledge, skill and
experience. I would recommend a
visit or checking out their website.
Everything there is quality. Harrogate
where they are located is a nice
place to meander around to check
out pleasant eateries and pubs so a
good trip for us all round.

Received my two new zip and link mattresses today

We needed as new Hypnos mattress, Frank was exceptional! Knowledgeable, yet friendly. Helpful, but not pushy. A perfect experience. Highly recommended! And at a great price too!!!!!

Excellent Service. Having ordered a replacement spring online for my Himolla recliner chair, I received a phone call within 10 minutes checking that I had ordered the correct one. There are 2 sizes for this chair. Most impressed by the personal caring touch.

Travelled 2 hrs to meet Frank based on the reviews on here - needed a new mattress but didn't want to be overwhelmed and wanted expert advice as I have a neck pain issue. Frank was brilliant, kept within budget, really knew his stuff. No hard sell. We bought a new mattress within 20 minutes, it was so clear which one was for us.
Knowing we had travelled, they provided us with a welcome coffee and we felt really looked after.
All 3 generations of the Smith family were present - so lovely to still have independent retailers like this. Everyone should support good independents - use them or lose them.
Our mattress was no dearer than a similar we had priced up locally. Free delivery over on the Fylde Coast, and £40 (seems standard) fee for removing old mattress.
Mattress was delivered yesterday. Great comms, pleasant and polite delivery men who actually arrived early (when do we ever hear that these days??!).
Honestly, if you are looking for any furniture, Smiths have a great showroom with free parking outside. Can't recommend highly enough and we are so glad we found you.
Have spread the word to many friends and family members so think you will be getting lots of new customers from the Fylde!
